I started my SNS nail care journey back in March after a failed experience with Gel polish from another nail spa. I'm happy to report my nails are healthy and strong. Online booking is super easy and convenient. Recently, I broke a nail two weeks before my scheduled appointment. The staff was GRACIOUS enough to let me come in last minute. Kim took great care of my busted nail with a fresh nail color. The staff is really friendly and the salon is clean and organized. I usually see Kim or Kenny, both do phenomenal work. read more

I started working at ANB for about 3 weeks now and I will say that the new owner, Kim, is one of the best bosses I have ever had! She makes sure that the customer is satisfied with my work and that I'm doing my work correctly! All the the clients that I have taken on have not only been nice to me, but after explaining that I'm fairly new, they are very patient and pleased that I do take my time on their service to make sure their nails are perfect! I keep all of my earnings and the pay is great, compared to my previous jobs! I would recommend ANB to everybody that I meet, including licensed nail technicians. The great part about working at ANB is that as long as you are properly licensed, Kim will teach you how to properly treat a customer and their service! read more

Found this place on yelp and decided to book an appointment for myself and my daughter. We had 5 o'clock appointments, and when we arrived, we were both seen and work had begun shortly after my daughter received a gel manicure with a design. The lady that worked on my daughters nails, cut time and made sure my daughter was happy with her nails. My appointment was with Krystal. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do but I had a photo with the photo Krystal guided me and told me what would work best and how to achieve the look that I want and she was right. I love my nails. I tried this place out today and would like to say that I am extremely pleased with their Service! I've tried 2 other places in the last 2 months off S. Tryon that I didn't have great experiences with from a nail quality perspective. I was able to book an Appt the day before. My wait time was minimal and while awaiting the Tech I scheduled with who was Kim, one of her colleagues was able to get me started to take my existing SNS powder dip color off. Their variety of Gel and SNS colors is overwhelming in a great way, so much to choose from. All the staff was very pleasant and the music playing overhead was upbeat. I had a request for a shape change from slightly square-ish to almond and Kim did it just to my liking! She also recommended a little glitter accent for the holidays and it came out great. This place books up fast from the people calling trying to get in on the same day with a specific Nail Tech, so I definitely recommend making an appointment. They use Vagaro scheduling on their website which is extremely user friendly. I will be a return customer! read more

I haven't written a bad review in years, but here I am! First off I made my appointment at 1 in the afternoon and only two women were working. I had to wait a while and actually started to look at other salons which looking back I wish I had gone to another salon. I came with a Gel-X set on my hands and wanted them off and a gel manicure. Simple right? At this place - NO! Firstly one girl swear I had acrylic I said no it's Gel-X and I know the difference. I've been getting it for years. So after waiting for some time one girl began working on me. I had to tell her to cut the Gel-X down instead of filing so much, like acrylic. Then I asked to soak me instead of her trying to file my nails down so much it hurt. After I spoke about this she walked away and exchanged words with the other woman working. I didn't bother to learn any names as I didn't tip (I always do) and knew I was never coming back here. The second woman took over my gel "manicure" which looked awful as the end result. I mean the color was all lumpy and uneven because she DIDN'T buff my nails. Which she claimed isn't part of the manicure. I've gotten so many manicures in the past and buffing the nail was done EVERY SINGLE TIME. I was annoyed at this point because what do you think makes the color apply smoothly?!?! So she buffed them AFTER I complained and my nails still look trash. I'm taking this off ASAP. I mean both women were just completely incompetent. Don't go here. I paid $32, wasted 2 hours of my time and I'll never return. No pros about this place. Only cons. read more

A very nice salon upon entry. They definitely have inconsistent work, depending on whether or not they're busy. If a salon is too busy to do great work, they should not accept more walk ins. I have been here 2 times before. The first time I had a male and had excellent service. The last 2 times I made an appointment and had a very new and inefficient manicurist. I will not return. read more

I found this place bc it was up the street. My first visit for pedi was a NO bc they had a older lady who couldn't hear or understand me what a terrible choice to make her work. The nail tech was kind but my nails became unhealthy. Also, this place does not clean and that how infection start. Ewwww read more

When I saw the Yelp reviews for Arysley nail bar, I knew I had to try it for the beach wedding I'm in this weekend. I was NOT disappointed. My nail tech took her TIME, paid great attention to detail, & even worked a bit past closing. I could not be more pleased with the final results and will definitely be going back here again. 10/10 would recommend! read more

I have been on a search for an amazing nail shop for what seems like forever. This is it, y'all. Seriously. This is it! It's convenient to my house. The staff are pleasant, talented and punctual. The prices are incredibly reasonable. The hours are great. They have beverages (water, white and red wine). There are multiple televisions. I can't say enough good things! The first time I came in, I made an appointment with Ny. When I tell you that she did an amazing job, I am not kidding. I left on cloud 9. She worked on me for maybe an hour and a half at the most and my nails looked fantastic. I couldn't stop staring at them! (The first pic is before they were all the way cleaned up. I was so excited, I took it early. lol) The second time, I bruised one of my nails and I had to make a quick appointment to be seen because it was so painful! I had a limited time window because of some prior engagements, so I checked online and saw that Kim was available, so I booked with her this time. She got me totally together on the Christmas tip! Freehand designs, sparkles and snowflakes? Yes, please! (The second pic? Gaaaaaah. Can you feel the holiday spirit right now? Can you feel it?) I am telling you, I am so glad I took the advice from my younger cousin and gave this place a shot. I love it so much. Highly recommend it. read more

I have been extremely pleased with my services at ANB. I schedule appointments and the tech is available for me, they have a huge selection for SNS & gel, and the environment is friendly & upbeat. I have never been to a nail shop that my SNS not only lasted longer than 2 weeks, but my natural nails are still strong and healthy (Thanks Ny!) I recommend this place to anyone that wants quality services. 2-13-19 Although I have enjoyed this place for over a year, they have become outrageous with prices. I was charged for nail polish color. I was confused because I assumed that POLISH was included with a fill-in. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. They are getting over on people. I recommend that they increase their prices instead of charging for the services that should be included. read more

We were in town recently for a Birthday celebration and had an appointment to check out Ayrsley Nail Bar. We arrived on time at noon but our manicures did not start until 12:30. Our party getting manicures did get to sit together but it was very cramped. Personally my experience was the best out of the three which I was thankful for, shout out to Kim. One of my friends got a tiny cut on the finger, blame the hang nail we were told, and the other friend got a mediocre paint job. Out of all 3 of us, the nail filing experience was just okay. Would I come back here again? No, not for the price. I did think that it was a very trendy place though. read more

I called and was told to come on in. I Walked in and was greeted immediately. Plenty of SNS dip colors to choose from. Several designs and Kim explained the costs and made suggestions as well. I was spoken to during my visit. The TV had closed captioning so I was able to keep up with what was going on. My questions were answered as far as additional services in a timely & friendly manner. Let me start off with this place was awesome! They had Great customer service. When I couldn't figure out what color I wanted they went out of their way to go through a couple with me and was very patient with me. I chose SNS and the shape coffin. They are very natural looking and perfect in shape. Kim was amazing, and so was the gentleman at the front that answered my phone calls. I will be coming back! read more

I love to get pampered just like any other gal, and Ayrsley is my favorite place even though they don't do the best job with my fingernails. The inside is cozy and nicely decorated. They are clean and always use liners in their pedicure baths. They offer you free refreshments, wine, beer, soda, water which is a nice bonus while waiting and getting mani/pedis. Every time I get a pedicure here, it's amazing. My favorite part is the massage and they always spend extra time massaging. So pedis and free alcohol are my favorite parts. I'm very picky about how my fingernails look, and usually I have to fix the shape a little. But the real negative is the gel and SNS always seem to peel really early on. When you're paying $50 for SNS, it needs to last longer than a week. read more

I'm sad I found this salon right before I moved to Atlanta but I always squeeze in an appointment when I come back to visit my Mom. It's like a tradition now. I love getting my nails done here with Kimberly! She takes her time, yet she is quick and thorough when I get my SNS. I haven't spent more than two hours here (when getting my nails and toes done). Kimberly also teaches me the best way to keep my nails and toes healthy and attractive which is what I love the most. They are a bit pricey, but that is to be expected with SNS. On the bright side, this salon has one of the widest ranges of SNS colors that I've seen! They offer waxing services as well, but I can not attest to thar yet. The complimentary drinks are a plus too! As long as I'm in Charlotte, I will be getting my nails done here. read more

This was the worse full acrylic set that I got. For 65 dollars! When I confronted the owner he only took 5 dollars off when I told the girl that my nail was crooked from the time she cut them. Then she charged 10 dollars extra because they were long! She couldn't even shape my nails herself after she messed them up but I had to pay full price! They charge $20 extra for gel polish on toes yet have no dryers. So ghetto and not worth what they charge I expected the price because of location but they quality of work was disgusting. They weren't even that clean I didn't bother asking for wine. If I had time I would've went to cachet for a much more professional and luxurious experience. Though my pedi is cute it was nothing more than basic. Looking at other reviews I can tell they took advantage of my ethnicity and how old I look to give me half ass service with a poor explanation. read more

I've found my permanent nail spot! I've recently moved to charlotte from Brooklyn, ny. Nail ART is pretty big there and until this point, I hadn't been able to find a place that's rivals my favorite Brooklyn spot. I like to try different designs while keeping my nails relatively short (I type for a living). Cady gave me exactly what I wanted. I just showed her a picture from Pinterest and she hooked it up. She told me how she really loves when people come in with challenging designs. It makes her day fun. As long as I live in Charlotte I will be seeing Cady every 2 weeks. read more

Prior to my first visit, I called and asked about their prices and the gentleman informed me that I should come around 2:30pm. When I got there at 2:30, I was anticipating that I'd have to wait since it was a Saturday afternoon and I didn't have an appointment, but I was immediately seen! I was shocked by the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the shop, and the fact that I had two nail techs work on me at the same time (one doing my pedi and the other on my fill-in acrylics). Very efficient service and I was in and out within an hour. I was so in love with my nails afterwards! I'm no longer a Charlotte resident but the experience I had here makes me want to wait to get my nails done until I come back to visit! read more

I would not recommend going here. I had some old hard gel polish on and the the nail tech I had did not know how to take it off. Another nail tech had to try to get it off. He also mistakenly gave me water to soak my nails in instead of acetone so he practically shaved off all of my nails. I also had a small tear at the bottom of my nail on my pinky but it was easily salvageable. He shaved off so much that he cracked it down the middle and took my entire nail off thinking it was the polish. They did not give me a discount or anything. read more

I periodically came here and get my nails done with Mila, who always did a fantastic job. I found out today that she isn't there anymore - so upset! They asked me if I wanted to book with someone else and I was hesitant, because I had gotten my nails done with another girl there and they came pretty bad. But I was in a rush, so I went ahead and booked. Long story short, I regret that decision. I got a full set and while the nails themselves look alright, the paint job is sloppy. My cuticles look sooo terrible - she didn't clean them at all and the paint on top of them made them look 100X worse. She also made random personal calls while doing my nails - especially annoying when my nails came out so messy. I spent $37 to go home and redo my mails myself. It's a shame, but the location is super convenient and the owner is always soo friendly. But I will not be returning here. read more

I almost gave up on SNS until I went to ANB. A friend recommended I go here before going back to acrylic. They were all very friendly and everyone coming through the door was greeted by their first name. I was surrounded by regulars which is a great sign! Thank you Cady! read more

Got my nails done here when I first moved back to Charlotte a few months ago. They did a pretty good job but I made the mistake of going during my lunch break and was there almost 2 hours. Seems like an extreme amount of time being that I was getting a fill-in and not a full set. I also believe I was over charged. When I asked why it cost so much I was told that there were various charges for simple thing such as cutting my nails down, filing them, etc. Things that you typically aren't charged for. I paid around $75 for SNS fill in. Maybe these are the typical prices in Charlotte but in VA I paid $40 for a fill and $45 the first time. The nail salon is nice and stays busy but it just seems to not really be worth the price. read more

First time at this nail salon, and was not disappointed! They looked busy when i walked in but they were able to get me in right away. I got an sns powder on my nails and the nail tech made sure i picked the color that i wanted, there were so many color options but i got exactly what i wanted. Soft white (funny bunny? I came in for a SNS fill in and I told the girl I wanted the pink dark enough so you couldn't see the nail. The pink she used looked like I clear when it was all said and done. I asked her to use a brighter pink she said, oh I'll do gel over it. Well, look what happened not even hours after I left. (See photos) I will be going back tomorrow to get this fixed. read more

Found this place via Yelp and immediately wanted to go based on the reviews and photos. They were welcoming upon arrival and the place was very busy which is usually a good sign. People were constantly coming through the front door and they seemed to have a lot of staff there to accommodate which as a customer I appreciate. Everyone was very nice and the whole place just had a super positive vibe about it. They really seem to keep up with current nail trends, which is something I like. This place is able to do pretty much any nail art you want. Will definitely be coming back and can't wait to try something new each time. read more

I absolutely love this place! I have never gone to the same nail salon twice because I move around so often, but since moving to Charlotte this is the second and last place I will try. I absolutely loved the time that they took on making the shape and details perfect. I rarely get tips or anything fancy because it's so easy to mess up, but after my experience here I will be back every few weeks for a switch-up. Absolutely love this place. read more

Just visited for the first (and last) time November 30th. Place was small and cramped with drab lighting. Got there just before 10am - no appointment but Janet (sp??) started my pedicure immediately. Got the acrylic manicure with gel polish and pedicure with acrylic on both great toes - they charged me an extra $20 for the gel polish on my toes! They also charged extra to cut down the length on fingers and toes. These people nickle and dime you for everything. My final tally was $100 - wayyy too much for all the bumps and ridges in my nails. Worse nail job I ever had! read more

I went to the Ayrsley Nail Bar a few weeks back while I was in town for a wedding. I made an appointment earlier in the week as I knew I would be on a tight schedule. I received a confirmation of the apt via email which was great. Because of all of the great reviews I couldn't wait to give them a shot. Upon arrival, I was greeted and directed to a chair within 5 minutes. Great hospitality all around. I was offered a selection of beverages and it was a great experience. The reason for my less than desirable review is because my $65 gel manicure didn't last even one week!! After 2 days, 2 gems were already off. After 5 days, 3 of my nail colors came cleaaann off. I wish I lived in North Carolina because I DEFINITELY would have gone back to have them redone. Unfortunately I do not, so I had to pay for another gel manicure in my city. Quite unfortunate. I got a pedicure as well and it is still holding up quite well. Honestly if it weren't for the great customer service I probably would have given them one star. read more

I was happy to get nail art since I've been searching a place in charlotte for like ever. The place is not really clean, there is powder everywhere, also has a pretty strong smell from the acrylic. Despite all thatb I went ahead with the service, and was pretty happy with the design. A week also later, my nail turn grayish and lost the shin that they had originally put on the top...this tells me that they use cheap products that are not gonna last. What's the point of getting a great gel design for 80 bucks that is going to turn grey after a week? I asked myself...nope! Never again, Thank you. read more

My then 92 year old uncle only wanted every other month appointments so I paid $620 for 2024. Unfortunately, my uncle died before using his 2024 appointments. Although Melissa asked me to give her two months for a refund, which I did, and she sent me a photo of the refund precessing a month ago - still no refund and only long, dramatic diatribes instead from her. This was my experience and I would not recommend this company and would not want other customers to fight for refunds and deal with all of this nonsense. I believe she just got back from a month long vacation which makes it worse. I hope this helps others who may be thinking of using her services.
