I've been to Allure twice now. The first time I did a pedicure with my husband and it was enjoyable! The leg scrub and massage was wonderful and the polish stayed fresh for 3 weeks. The second time, I did an SNS manicure and a pedicure. I booked the appointment online with Belinda but when I arrived, they put me with Brian. I told him my appointment was with Belinda and he just said "oh, uhhhh" so I said whatever it's fine. Long story short, I definitely won't make that mistake again. I think they do a good job, I just wouldn't go back to Brian again. I hear Nini is good and I like Belinda. read more

Unfortunately, 8 mins into to Essential treatment, the woman, I repeat the woman operator, as I do not wish to discredit others, cut the top and side of my toe. It bled profusely . I was shocked in the beginning when she very aggressively filed my toes on my right foot like they were stones and cut my nails equally rough on my right foot. I should have spoke up but Lord no nail treatment would be this bad?! And then the injury occurred on the left foot. Sadly, the establishment was in shock and my daughter and I had to triage asking for multiple bandaids. I am only posting because I believe the nail operator was severely incompetent of providing the services this salon advertises. read more

My appointment was exactly for 2:30pm with Belinda. I got there at 2:29pm and checked in by 2:30pm. I sat down waiting until exactly 2:53pm .Belinda didn't tell me she was running late with another customer nothing. She just had me waiting with no regard for my time. I finally asked when am I going to be seen at 2:47pm and they said she's almost done. There was absolutely no communication whatsoever with her letting me know she's running behind and she was sitting right upfront. This is not the 1st, 2nd or 3rd time this has been an issue here. This is very frustrating making an appointment to have to wait 27 whole minutes to be acknowledged. I still had to waiting until exactly 2:57 for my nails to be started. As I'm finishing my nails I expressed (calmly) the inconvenience this cause. I finished my nails at 4pm exactly. The owner that sits right in front stated that everyone had to wait. I kindly expressed that that wasn't explained to me and that is not right because if it was the other way around then I would have to miss my appointment if I were late. So I told him I don't feel comfortable paying the full 55$ I don't mind paying 50$ but I was inconvenienced. He told me that I can pay the $50 and to never come back. read more

I drove by one morning and decided I'd walk in and see if by any chance they would take me without an appointment and they did! They have accommodated me without an appointment several times now and they have slowly won me over! Any time I've visited, the staff is so friendly and welcoming! If they don't have other clients, they have multiple staff working on you at once to get you in and out there fast, which I can appreciate! Best part was the pedicure massage!! The nail tech took the time to give me a pampering massage and not just patting down with lotion for 2 seconds. They also take a lot of pride in their work and they double check with you as they are working to make sure you are satisfied with the color and design. So this one Sunday when I decided I HAVE to, my regular salon closed before time.. another go-to salon closed early as well... so Allure was the only place open. I gave it a try.. when I entered there was no one except me to take their pedicure chairs.. I felt sort of safe not walking into a full salon. What disappointed me was staff trying to get my manicure and pedicure done at the same time, without asking if that's something I'd prefer - I felt 2 staff members within six feet to get mani-pedi done was an overkill .. I had to ask them to wait on my mani until pedicure is done. They were okay with that. Overall good place.. since it wasn't my regular, colors choices felt restricted. Five stars folks This Nail salon was a fabulous find ! The technicians were detailed and conscientious of each service . I got a pedicure with manicure combo and never have I had such a wonderful manicure! Pardon the pun but hands down this was the best most detailed manicure I've ever had ! The nail tech took her time and walked on both sides of the chair so I wasn't stretching or being inconvenienced with some awkward services . The pedicure was fabulous too ! The services you can choose from range from a basic pedicure to lots of spa choices and fragrances ! Sea salts and lavender were my choice and it was fabulous! There is an option for paraffin wax which I chose and it was so nice ! Lots of technicians for a Sunday afternoon! Plenty of polish choices to choose from . Luckily I found Allure Nails on Yelp, called and was told $20 and they would be able to service me right away. I arrived, picked my color and received my gel polish in about 20 minutes. He is very social and will make sure your visit is fully accommodated with drinks (non alcoholic and alcoholic), convo and more. They get pretty busy at lunch time so be sure to plan ahead. I suggest making an appointment as they are good about honoring appointments on time which is a plus for me. I've been here about 4-5 times and the staff remembered me each time even with different hair styles. My services were always done professionally and with a smile. I always get a pedi and a mani with no chip gel polish. I've only had a nail go bad early on once and I called and they offered to fix it if I'd come back for repair free of charge. I was extremely happy to find a nail shop open on a Sunday. I called, I was told to come in at a certain time. We showed up 10 minutes early. We were seated immediately, told them we wanted manicure and pedicure. I wanted acrylics (my first time). That didn't seem to be what the lady wanted to hear. She said fine. Overpriced and service has dropped over the years. I left a positive review years back about this place, however, every visit over the past couple of years has gotten worse and worse. From being cut with the dremel drill several times, to bring left to soak for 45 minutes in acetone, to bring burned with hot water in the foot soaking tub and being scrubbed so hard that my skin was raw on my legs after a spa pedicure, but the biggest thing is charging an extra $20 just for gel polish! I have been here before and had a good experience. I did a walk in today and there were 2 other customers. There were also 2 workers. My basic pedicure was rushed and not done well. The soak was cold to the point I took my feet out. That happened twice. Cuticles were done sloppy. The woman who was working on me rushed to get back to the other person in the salon who (it appeared) was getting a more complicated mani/pedi. That customer had both workers working on her. This place was extremely professional. They stuck to the price they quoted me on the phone, $20, for a fill in with regular polish. That is definitely the best price for a fill in in Ballantyne, but honestly anywhere. While I was there there was a bridal party getting their toes done. The shop was obviously busy but went out of their way to be kind to everyone who came in and were laughing and making jokes while doing excellent work, just a positive environment. Offered refreshments. The man who did my nails was the manager. He was very nice to me and upfront with pricing. He did my nails in a short time but with excellent precision. I hate to give bad reviews but I just can't let this go. I was in the area and didn't have time to make it to my regular salon so decided to walk in here since they were open until 7:30pm. I just knew I should have followed my gut and waited until I could go to my regular salon but I said what could go wrong? Well....just about everything. The place is not well kept and there was a lot of clutter and dust. They had me put my feet in the tub before lining it and then they couldn't figure out how to get the pump on correctly. I did a pedicure and SNS. Normally I prefer to do both at once but there was no room to do so. The lady doing my hands cut half my nail off with the drill and hurt me really bad and she didn't take any accountability or say sorry and just kept drilling. A huge chunk of my nail was missing and a huge divot at the tip of my nail. Around me I also heard another pedicure lady hurt a lady she was doing and even made her hold her own leg up for her so she could do the scrubbing tool. The pedicure was fine and the massage was great. The nails just kept getting worse. She had to redo the SNS on a couple fingers multiple times and the top coat was extremely goopy and sticky and the fan she gave me kept falling over onto my hands which then she had to redo again. There also was bugs crawling around and the place smelled of warmed up food. I was charged $95 and I will not be returning. read more

My second and last time going to the spa was awful, The woman rushed through the service causing injuries with a quick apology then would continue to rush through their services.
