I made it back like I said I would to experience the pedicure. I purchased the deluxe pedicure which has the hot stone massage as well as the scrub and mud mask for the legs. It was very relaxing and something that I needed for this week. I also brought a friend along to experience this place. This place is very busy but they do great work in a timely manner. I recommend anyone that is visiting from out of town to come here if you need some pampering done. read more

First time getting my nails done here today and I was impressed! I called ahead and walked in around 6pm and they were closing at 7pm but they still squeezed me in. I had gel polish already that needed to get freshened up so I got a gel polish change. It was decently priced and they had drinks available as well which is always a plus! Everyone who worked there was super nice! read more

WISH I HAD TAKEN A PICTURE!!!! One busy Friday late afternoon, I go in and there's a 30 minute wait. Okay, no biggie. I'll come back tomorrow I said. I'm sitting in my car infront of the salon and here comes the same bald headed asian guy with tattoos on his arms, and I see he still has his glove's on. And I mainly see this guy do pedicures. He even gave me my pedicure the first time I came to the establishment. Anyways, he comes outside, gloves still on, to smoke a cigarette. Then walks back into the establishment and if he taken his gloves off after that.... is beyond me. who knows. I KNEW I shouldn't have came back. But a girl needs a pedicure BAD. So I went in the next Friday, earlier.. and I make sure I DO NOT GET SAT WITH THE BALD GUY! I even asked the sleep deprived man who my tech would be, and thankfully it was one girl who has done my nails before. Everything is all good until home girl is cleaning my cuticules and she goes too deep into one side of my toe and I jerk but don't say anything because I WANT TO GIVE HER THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT???? And she KNEW that she had hurt me and then she quickly put down the tool and decided to work on something else. And I actually like the place even though I got charged $45 for the pedicure, $10 for a french tip?????? (one big toe got a tip on because it was badly broken down, the toe in question) and $15 for gel and one Free infected toe. read more

Lux Nails Lounge - A WARNING - Nail Salons Near Me - Charlotte, North Carolina

Took me and my friend really quick! The service was nice and the mango slushie was a plus

I came in on a Saturday afternoon so they were quite busy. I had to wait about 10-15 mins when I had an appointment but I truly didn't mind I didn't have anywhere to be. I came in with medium length square French tips nails from a different nail tech who took 4 hours to apply them. Color me impressed when the gentleman at Lux Nail Lounge took 45 MINUTES to remove the polish, fill my set, and completely change the shape to my preferred almond. read more

Yallll doing $80 take down and full set??? I'll book next Friday at 11am. That is awesome and in my budget.

A large group of us were in town for our boys' soccer showcase. Lux was able to get 9 pedicures and 1 manicure in for the same time. It was impressive to see them able to cater to us with 24 hours notice and provide each of us a great experience. It was a great place for us moms. We had a great time and lots of laughs, especially with the massage chairs IYKYK. Definitely give them a try! Will be back next time in town! read more

Absolutely loved it here! Took a weekend girls trip with my daughter and had to get my nails done so took her for her first time. We both got hands and feet done. I showed the tech a photo of what I was interested in with some slight modifications and he made it happen. The salon was clean and stylish. Waited a bit before writing this to make sure they lasted and it's been three weeks and my nails still look good. I feel terrible that I don't remember the name of the nail tech that took care of me but I think it was Kevin. read more

Lux Nails Lounge - SNS for me and regular polish for my daughter - Nail Salons Near Me - Charlotte, North Carolina

I had high hopes for this place from the pictures and the reviews. It is a very bright, clean and pretty space that is new. Unfortunately, that is where the greatness ended I went in for a gel manicure on a Tuesday. They were not busy, of course. After checking in, I asked to see the colors, and I was demanded to go sit down. Once I sat down a gentleman shoved some books at me to pick a color and the nail tech tried to get me to change my nails to SNS and told me it was much healthier. The tech ended up, scraping my gel off and the nail bed. I had to ask her twice to cut my nails down and she told me I should not go short. Applying my color, I noticed that I still had paint around the edges and had to ask her to remove off of my hand. She attempted to cut the pad of my finger and also took a nail file to the sealed nails which then caused them to do and flake up already. I'm very disappointed in how my nails look and what I paid I should've gone right back in and asked them to redo it. Unfortunately, now I will be paying someone else to redo my nails this week. read more

Nice atmosphere, friendly workers. Went in to a gel pedicure and gel manicure. I've been getting my natural nails gel painted for a while now, this is the first time I've experienced this level of "chipping" my nails chipped that very same day after I got them done, went back in and they repainted the chipped nails for no charge, unfortunately, that did not solve the issue as they started chipping even worse immediately after the repair. Would go back in for just a pedicure, not sure if it was the technique or the paint they used. read more

Lux is gorgeous with friendly people. I will definitely be frequenting Lux! I am a minority, as I do not like varnish. However, I love a good pedicure with some buffing! I enjoyed the herbal exfoliating pedicure. Chan was so outgoing and a blast to chat with! The atmosphere is wonderful and I was given many compliments and made to feel quite welcome! Thank you! read more

Quality has gone down since my first visit. My gel pedicure which was done a week ago has chipped already. For the price I paid for the service I would expect them to be using better products. read more

Lux Nails Lounge - Great job but very warm AC was not working today or I would've got a pedicure too. - Nail Salons Near Me - Charlotte, North Carolina

I started coming here because they always have someone available and are pretty consistent. I am always happy with the result for the price. I have never gotten designs on my nails from here, but the basic acrylics and gel manicures I get are good enough to keep me coming back. The free drinks are great too! read more

I'm updating my review. My nails have already chipped. It hasn't even been a week. I's kinda disappointed because they weren't cheap and I was excited for them to last 2 weeks. I was only at a work conference so wasn't even doing my daily activities of cooking and being in the sink either. read more

Great service. I enjoyed my service. The manager and staff was good tier and my mani and pedi looked awesome!

Very nice drinks were strong and my cup was never empty the lady doing my nails was very friendly and did a great job I'm usually really weary about getting a pedicure but she was so gentle and fast! read more

I had heard great things about this new nail bar so I stopped in today after work. I was warmly greeted upon entering by the owner and promptly seated for a gel pedi. Color choices were aplenty and I believe there were 4-5 pedi options. I chose the spa pedi and it was lovely. Kelly, the technician is an absolute delight to talk to and I really appreciated her taking her time. The facility is clean and beautifully decorated. I'm so happy to have a great new place to get my nails done in Madison Park! read more

My friend and I walked in for manicures. The place was clean and busy for a late afternoon on a weekday. We were seated after about 10 minute wait. The techs were nice but a few days later both of our no chip manicures are chipped! Didn't even make it a week. While I live very close by I will not be returning. read more

Service was above what I am used to. The older gentleman that was seating everyone and offering something to drink was so nice. My male nail tech did a fabulous job with my pedicure. I would recommend this place. It was clean, and had reasonable prices. Looking around you could see other customers having a good time socializing with the nail techs. It was an awesome experience. read more
