Yum! The food here is delicious if you want your breakfast fix! It's only open for breakfast and lunch hours. The restaurant was full when we arrived so we had a bit of a wait. For me, that's always a positive sign of a great place to eat. We weren't in a hurry, but Le Peep probably isn't a good stop if you're pressed for time. The wait staff was prompt, courteous, attentive, and super sweet. They all made us feel right at home, and our waitress gave great recommendations. read more

An okay breakfast/brunch spot. I mean no offense to anyone who gave any Le Peep location five stars, but I suspect you've not been to a really good brunch spot and may be just comparing this to IHOP/Denny's/Waffle House. The food is okay, but nothing spectacular. I'd rather eat here than the aforementioned chains, but I've been to far, far better places with much better fare and similarly priced. read more

I didn't like it my waffle had a funny after taste my eggs and sausage was nothing special very tasteless. I was told I should go again try something different. In my opinion the place didn't wow me it was nothing special st all read more

I give Le Peep 3 1/2 stars based on service alone. We were seated immediately & our server was pretty good. After ordering, something happened between the kitchen & our table. I ended up with my meal but my bagel wasn't with it. Once I finally received my bagel, I had to ask for cream cheese & was told there's a charge for it. I was pretty sure my Oatmeal & bagel combo came with cream cheese. After receiving the bill, there was an extra $ 1.50 charge & my hubby gladly confronted the manager. Everything was taken care of but I don't know if we'll return. read more

I ordered Salmon with Eggs Benedict for $9.75 and a small OJ for $2.49, the eggs were average but the salmon was over-cooked and chewy. No one asked me once how my food was, if they did, I would have mentioned this. This place is over-priced for what it is. The decor is random- there's Harley posters next to nursing home looking decorations in the woman's bathroom. The place has been opened for 25 years, you can tell- it doesn't look like the decor has been updates since.. The bathrooms are kinda grimy, there's even a sign on the toilet that says to hold down the handle for 10 seconds... come on, if you charge that much for mediocore food, the least you can do is update the toilets. Spare yourself and make breakfast at home- I was underwhelmed and left feeling ripped off. read more

Went for brunch on Labor Day and only had to wait 5 min to be seated. For two coffees, two meals and a extra stack of pancakes we paid $35 which is a steal considering how large the portions were and we both had left overs! It's like home cooked breakfast your grandma would make. The place is small and could use a little sprucing up but I think we may have found our new brunch place for a nice relaxed meal compared to all the "trendy" brunch spots that are popping up. read more

The restaurant has a great ambiance and very nice staff. However, the chef was a bit off when we came in - overcooked bacon and undercooked potatoes coupled with French toast that was not really French toast. The coffee was delicious and bottomless and the orange juice was fresh. read more

Really enjoyed our breakfast experience. Fast and friendly service. Great breakfast and lunch menu. Clean restaurant. Great place to bring the family. I had mini Denver omelet with whole wheat dollar pancakes, and it was very good. Husband got the Belgium waffle combo. Perfect amount of food, and the waffle was top notch. read more

Enjoyed my breakfast at Le Peep. The food was good, and the service was outstanding. It's worth coming back just for the service.

I went to brunch here about a month ago after working nearby for years. The decor was pretty lackluster, I had expected it to look nicer inside. However, the food was fantastic. The selection was so wide the hardest part of the visit was deciding what to eat from all the delicious sounding selections. read more

I am baffled as to how there was a line out the door. This food is so mediocre for the price! The quality is literally no better than the free continental breakfast you can get at a Holiday Inn Express. Orange juice had an odd cloudy color and aftertaste. Pancakes and eggs were OK. Potatoes tasted frozen and reheated in a microwave, definitely didn't come from an oven. Turkey sausage was more like salt sausage. My mom got an egg over easy and it came out over well. If you can't make basic egg orders correctly, you have no business being a breakfast establishment. The only thing it has going for it is the waitstaff is very nice and attentive. read more

My go-to spot for brunch ever since I graduated from UT and miss my go-to diner in Austin. The regular item I order is the Eggs Benedict - a fulfilling dish which satisfies my eggs benedict-craving. Let's simply say, it's done right! The staff here are always so friendly and attentive. The place feels so cozy and intimate to dine with friends and family. I've ran into family, friends, and former coworkers here on multiple separate occasions. There's usually a wait during the busy times on the weekend, so come early! read more

Great spot staff very Intentive food fresh good had salmon Benedict was really good give you different selections of coffee

La Poop is what we call it. Went there for lunch one day and wow was I shocked that people line up for this stuff. Not gonna call it food because it's nasty. The chicken in my dish was microwaved and... do I really need to go on?! I left with a sour stomach and will never go back again. I think it remains open because there's no where else to eat brunch on weekends. It's a mystery to me as to how people can eat this stuff. read more

Good breakfast spot. It's very intimate(tables are super close together) but it had a nice vibe. The food was tasty and love the 10% they give you if you were cowboys grab and the discount card you receive for meals. This place is definitely in the Sunday breakfast routine for sure!!! read more

Way overpriced for breakfast. Food was just average. An omelette and a cup of coffee will run you over 20 dollars after you tip the wait staff. McDonald's quality at best. I wouldn't recommend this place. Policy on substitutions isn't friendly at all. read more

Loved loved it. Even though I came there with a sucky date. The waitress was super sweet and she had awesome eyebrows. Honestly she should be a model and not waitressing. But great service, cute cozy diner style environment. Perfect for lazy Saturday's or Sunday's read more

Sorry Le Peep, but you kind of Le Suck. You have all the makings to be a solid breakfast joint: large menu, nice items to choose from, French name etc. But you fail to deliver. The waiter we had treated us like an elderly couple who couldn't hear...or 4 year old children, I couldn't decipher. My omellette was the size of my palm with less meat than a vegetarian dish. Upset? Yes. I don't eat American-style breakfast often but I do know what to expect. read more

Great breakfast spot!! Friendly service!! I always get the 3-wheeler.

Johnny was awesome! So friendly. Also, the biscuits and gravy was really good! Tastes just like how my dad makes them& brought back wonderful memories! read more

Great service from beginning to end. Food and coffe were good. Younger kids said everything tasted great. Older kid wasn't a fan of the potatoes- but loved the waffles. My chicken and broccoli egg benedict was tasty- but sauce was a little oily. Overall, a great place for breakfast. read more

Bleh. I remember eating at a Le Peep in Frisco- and everything was served piping hot & seemed tasty. My experiences here for lunch were always less than average. Nothing worth remembering. Not sure what the difference is in locations or if maybe the restaurant has changed? read more

I want to start this off by saying that our waitress was SO SWEET. Even though we waited for 15 minutes for her to come to our table, her positive attitude even though she was overwhelmed was amazing. Also, the hostess trying to reign in the madness didn't look like she was more than 16 years old and was absolutely killing it at her job, even with some people getting irritated at her (for things that were not her fault, see below). Someone needs to give these two major props. Now the food. I was going to put 3 stars, but I guess with Yelp that means that it is average, which this food was unfortunately below average. My husband and I were soundly disappointed. He got the chicken fried steak and I got the regular eggs Benedict, and it was just bland. The hollandaise I had on my eggs tasted like they used a roux like gravy, and his chicken fried steak, ham, and extra sausage was dry and less than stellar. Before we went here I saw a review that said this place should play Diner Dash... I agree completely. It seems that they need a solid review of their systems, if they have any. It was pretty disorganized and though our orders came out right (maybe because we had one of the good waitresses?) we heard many people complaining about wrong orders. Next time we want brunch, we are sadly going to have to go to La Madeline instead... not worth the $32 we spent here. read more

Came here after a long night at work to try their crepe. It's all I wanted. A crepe and my bed. It's so tiny! But that's what you get for a dollar and some change. It was good but not exactly my style. I did also have the s'mores waffles and the Hubs had french toast. Waffles were excellent. Cute place. will come back again read more

My husband and I had a nice breakfast here. My eggs benedict were delicious, even if I'd have preferred softer yolks (they didn't drip) and the biscuits in his sausage & biscuits apparently tasted as if they'd been frozen at some point. Service was quick and friendly and their fresh-squeezed orange juice was delicious. We'd return. read more

Me and The Hubs had breakfast here one Monday morning a few weeks ago. We were promptly greeted and seated upon entering. After perusing the menu, I decided on one of their 'Panhandled Skillet Dishes' - the Drifter. This dish is described as 'peasant potatoes topped with fresh zucchini, bell peppers, fresh mushrooms and red onions held down with melted cheese and 2 basted eggs' for $8.50. It was actually pretty good yet different from what I was expecting. Usually when you order something like this, all the veg are cooked together and the flavors become somewhat melded together. In this dish, the vegetables had been cooked al dente separately and assembled in the serving dish. I liked it because all the vegetables (well, except for the potatoes) were crisp-tender and maintained their own individual flavors. It was fresh-tasting and seemed healthy. As it turns out a 'basted egg' is similar to an over easy egg except that it's basted instead of flipped. Service was friendly, but slow. There were diners at maybe 3 or 4 other tables and it seemed to take forever for the food to come out. BTW, The Hubs had one of their benedicts. He said it was 'pretty good'. read more

I am VERY surprised this place hasn't been reviewed more! I came here yesterday for a celebratory breakfast and I was not disappointed! I had recently went to uptown and ordered some Eggs Benedict that were not so great so I was a little apprehensive when ordering the California version of the eggs benedict here at La Peep. Within 10-15 minutes my dish had arrived and it looked and smelled AMAZING! Every time I took a bite I closed my eyes to fully enjoy and savor the flavors (especially the sauce it was *perfect*). I must have looked a little silly but well. . . . . did I mention how delicious it was!?! Everything tasted fresh, the waitress was extremely friendly, the interior was comfortable and overall I was glad I came here. Oh, I forgot to mention they have daily deals and if I would have wanted a 3 egg omelet it would have only cost $4 ($6 normally - $2 discount)! read more

As always...very happy with my food. They always do a great job on the food. I especially love the biscuts and gravy and the eggs benedict. However, unfortunately on this visit I was less than pleased witht the service...extremely slow on all accounts except for when they brought the food out...if the service had been up to par with previous experiences this would have been a 5 star however service is a large part of the dining experience read more

The flavor of the food and the service was pretty good. I was disappointed, however, because my food came out cold. Not even a little warmth to it. I also felt like the prices did not reflect the portion sizes. read more

Best breakfast in Las Colinas! Favorites are the omelet and the pancakes. The only thing that could make this location better is if they carried the pecan coffee, which is to die for. Service is great every time. I placed a to-go order really hoping for the pecan coffee like they have at other locations. When I was notified they didn't carry it, they gave me free coffee. Above and beyond! read more

I got an omelette for breakfast. Delicious, only thing was I didn't feel like the chicken pieces in the omelette were flavored well at all. Tasted kinda dry and lackluster. Potatoes were great and the hazelnut coffee was good. read more

We have been clients of Le Peep for a few years but lately we have not enjoyed it. The potatoes are not fresh- they seem to come out of a frozen bag. Additionally, my shoes kept sticking to the carpet when I walked and when we sat down, I could distictly smell a sewage-like smell coming from the carpet, which of course put me off from eating anything, so I just had coffee while my partner had breakfast. Lastly, fruit flies are a problem at this time of year in many restaurants, but swarms- seriously? We both swatted fruit files constantly. Le Peep could just use a good scrubbing, replace the carpet, and maybe review of its menu/food suppliers. With other options opening in the area, Le Peep is sure to suffer. read more

The food was great! They have a lot of options to choose from. Although the line was long, the wait was not. And the hosts were very nice and took great care of us. read more

Le peep is sorta like your simple breakfast that you could basically make at home, the staff is good our waiter was attentive but I think that our waiter swapped places with another person I wasn't paying attention just trying to finish and leave, then they swapped places again and this is when he's bringing the bill and he didn't tell us that we pay at the desk so my girlfriend and I were sitting there for 5min or more waiting on him to pick the bill up, but then I caught on. So le peep is a good place to eat just your simple meal to start the day. read more
