Excellent breakfast food and service to match! Highly recommend; they remember/take care the locals/regulars.

The food and service were great! I would highly recommend their omelettes. If your looking for delicious home cooking with generous portions at an affordable price this is a definite place to go for breakfast, brunch and lunch. read more

My boyfriend and I have been to Le Peep before and have had a great experience. This time was different. We put in our names like everyone else to be seated, waited for our named called out, and finally seated outside (due to preference). After being given our menus we waited 10 minutes and during that time the older couple next to us ( who had just gotten there) already had their server come, ask for their drinks and already taken their orders. The couple to the left of us (who just sat there to wait as availability opened up) were asked if they needed drinks. When I asked for assistance to serve us he said he'll get our waiter. I watched as he went inside and continued doing his job without talking to anyone. After giving them a few more minutes to come serve us (since we understood they were busy) no one came out. We understand Sundays are busy but no acknowledgement of loyal customers is UNACCEPTABLE. Being a young and interracial couple in a all white restaurant; we felt extremely discriminated. Never eating here again, very disappointed and offended. read more

Came in for brunch with some friends last Friday. Ordered the baby tacos with chorizo. Not bad, not great. Wasn't greasy but didn't really have much flavor at all. The salsa was subpar and the "guac" appeared to just be mashed up avocados -- zero flavor. I added salt/pepper and squeezed some lemon from my water into it. There are soooooo many options for brunch in dfw that this isn't a preference. We met here because it was close to the Byron and easy to get to. read more

Eaten here several times and it has been good until today. It was obvious they did not clean the grill, as I had onion flavor in my pancakes. A pretty distinct taste, right? I told the server and he said I was mistaken because they have several grills. I am sure they never get backed up in the kitchen, or would share the grill. Anyway, too bad. I don't plan on repeating for this or my businesses lunches. read more

By far the worst LePeep experience. It all start with the short lady with glasses and her attitude. We sat down waited to order our food. After our orders were taken and 45 minutes later people who came after us would receive their food. We walked out of how ridiculous this experience was. read more

First time I was charmed and enjoyed my breakfast with my family. Had a chicken fried steak and eggs that time. While the steak was not on par with restaurants that specialize in it, it was okay. So fast forward a few months later, I ate there again with my mother. Totally different experience. Male server haughty and the vibe seemed very pretentious. Omelette was mediocre and home fries gross. The tables are so close to each other too, tight squeeze and small dining area. The coffee was good at least. read more

I visited Le Peep a few weeks ago on a Sunday. I got there around 12:30 and they were packed...good sign. The wait was about 15 min. Because I was starving, I previewed the menu before I got there and decided on the Lumberjack breakfast- 2 large pancakes, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage and potatoes. The pancakes were delicious; I'd come back just for them. The eggs and potatoes were good too but nothing spectacular. The turkey sausage wasn't good at all, they tasted rubbery and lacked any real taste. I also ordered a mango iced tea which was good but lacked the sweetness I'm used to. In Atlanta, we love some sweet tea so the more sugar the better. Service was efficient. No complaints there. The location offers indoor and outdoor seating which is great but it was scorching outside, so I opted to sit indoors. I would definite visit again and try some of there other options. read more

Great service (thank you Chris!) plus high quality food makes for an exceptional experience! Groupon got us here this time but we will gladly return!!! read more

Great breakfast spot! The service was excellent and friendly. The wait was short, the food was fresh and flavorful, and the coffee was amazing!! We will definitely stop here again if we find ourselves back in the area! read more

Came in for brunch around 10am. The place was about 1/3 full. Clean. Friendly service. Ordered the Eggs Benedict and the eggs were cooked a little too much on the soft side. Overall decent and quick experience. Very nondescript. read more

Very friendly staff! The food is great, large portions & delicious. Pancakes are HUGE!!!

We found Le Peep because of the location right down the street from our office and decided to contact them to cater our employee appreciation breakfast. Le Peep had a great catering menu and provided more than just the typical cold breakfast. We had a mix of pancakes, french toast, bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes, and fresh fruit! Le Peep really thought of everything we would need and showed up early to help set up. The team they sent out to help us prepare worked very hard to get the job done and they were extremely accommodating, especially since we had a few changes to the plan once they arrived. The catering team even brought items that helped make the set up very nice and returned after we finished breakfast to help clean up and gather their burners. I would highly recommend Le Peep catering to anyone looking to host a breakfast or brunch! Our employees really appreciated it and their team made it so easy for us on the day of! read more

Eggs ,hash browns and pancakes where served like warm. Had such good expectations, with the good reviews. Service and coffee where great!

Food is okay but very bland. I got the waffle combo and the waffle was delicious. The eggs had zero taste along with the turkey sausage. The potatoes had some flavor at least. Cute diner atmosphere and our waitress was very nice. Everyone here was friendly. read more

Great breakfast spot! Wife had eggs over easy with bacon and muffin. Done just right! I couldn't decide so I ha chicken fried steak and chocolate chip pancakes! Pancakes were incredible! read more

Yeah, I'm here once a week, more or less. I know exactly what I'm getting: friendly service, consistent food, reasonable prices, and the satisfaction of dining at a place that doesn't feel chain-like (even though it is.) I will say that every time I have deviated from my favorite dish (huevos rancheros with chorizo, salsa, and over-easy eggs) I've had diner's remorse. If you haven't been here yet, it's worth stumbling into on a weekend morning or when you're craving breakfast for lunch. They've got regular menu items as well, and the house dressing is supposedly really good. I haven't tried it personally because, well, see the previous paragraph. read more

Me and my husband came here one Sunday morning and we are now fans. It was a long wait but it was worth it. I'm a huge coffee lover and it's rare for me to find a restaurant that has good coffee, that doesn't cost $5 bucks. *Diabetic friendly. read more

Enjoyed our brunch. Nice ambiance. Soothing music and decor. The menu was a little overwhelming with options so it was no surprise to us our Breakfast started out mediocre. Our food was not prepared to our liking (requested everything to be hot) but the staff and management was eager to please without being asked. They did pretty good on the second run so we will possibly dine again. read more

Sooo good! I got the Cajun chicken sandwich amazing! It had bacon and avocado and their fries were good too! My friend got the sweet potato skillet idk what exactly it's called but it was so delicious ! Very friendly staff. reasonable price. Def recommend. Will be coming here again! read more

Overall this place is just a pretty average breakfast place. I ended up going with my SO because we live near by but I don't think I would revisit. It was ok but nothing about the food would make me go again. read more

My friends and i visited Le Peep the morning after a night on the town. The food was fantastic and the service was great. I had an egg white omelette with an English muffin and a side of potatoes. I am not big on potatoes but the meal was wonderful. read more

Disappointed in this location. I've always been a big fan of Le Peep in Houston and thought I would get the same great food. I ordered a breakfast skillet and my potatoes were hard as rocks and my boyfriends migas were cold. I wish we would have had a better experience. read more

Le Peep - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Irving, Texas

Pancakes was to airy for me. Eggs Benedict was too watery and the chicken fried steak lacked flavor. First time coming couldn't figure out why it was popping. Guess it was our food that wasn't made right. But based on the other meals we saw the waffles and French toast looks to be the most popular. We spent $34 for two but it's not worth a second trip for us. Service and the potatoes were great though. read more

what le peep isn't: - a cabaret what le peep is: - a place that's only open only for breakfast/brunch - a place with friendly service - a place that can accommodate large parties without fuss now... if le peep was ALL of the above, i think we'd have a winner. read more

They have the best blueberry granola pancakes! The staff is always so friendly. Every time I bring someone with me they always say how great everything tasted! read more

What kind of a French restaurant has neither cream or whole milk. I think it's absurd that my options for coffee are to use the nasty processed coffee mate creamers or some room temperature prepackage half and half. I know this may seem nit picky, but French food is all about fresh ingredients and they under deliver in this regard. read more

This is my 17 month olds favorite place to eat. During the football season we take her there every Sunday in her jersey and we get 10% off. For Mother's day, I took my mom and family there. I think I my mom would have preferred something more upscale, but with a squid you only have 45 mins before she explodes. In 45 mins here, you can order, eat and pay the bill; all the while eating fresh, tasty food. The food is consistently excellent. I've never had bad food or service here. I think I preferred the one on Forest that closed years ago, but this will do. If you like fresh corned beef, not the canned stuff, but real corned beef, try the blarney skillet, it's excellent. read more

The food is pretty good here. The Country Benedict was really tasty. Hash browns topped with eggs Benedict with ham was perfect. The chicken fried steak was okay. The steak was well breaded and crispy. I wish the steak was thinner since it was a tad chewy. I wouldn't mind coming back here again for brunch and to try out another eggs Benedict dish. read more

Good solid breakfast place. We had omelettes all around the table and all were fresh and flavorful. Nothing fancy, but nothing less than good. read more

Great food and service. Not sure what Pooja was talking about , the young lady in front is Indian. Just because you didn't like being seated before others you call people racist. I guess maybe if she wears a Native American feather that makes her the wrong kind of Indian for you...who is the racist Pooja! read more

I had high hopes in coming here, but there's nothing particularly special at Le Peep. We came for brunch on a Saturday and waited about 20 minutes for a table. The restaurant did not look full, but there were quite a few un-bussed tables. We used the waiting time to look at the menu. Once seated, we ordered right away (Eggs Benedict and The Desperado). Food was fine, but not memorable, similar to food at a Denny's or IHOP. Le Peep is kind of out of the way, so I probably would not be returning anytime soon. read more

I was not floored by any means the food was just okay, the service was good but i dont go places for good service. the pancakes are huge but nasty to me, if you like the crumbly and dare not drench in syrup type of cakes these are for you. and plus they are a bit expensive for the type of food they serve nothing different then iHop or Dennys. read more

Where I come from (the far, frozen north), breakfast is more of a thing than it is here in Texas. Down here a lot of folks consider a "great" place to get breakfast an IHOP or Waffle House, places that serve the same homogeneous, flavorless piles of pancakes, eggs etc. So if you're looking for something a bit more interesting, more about quality than sheer quantity, your options are limited in the Irving area. The saving grace is Le Peep. A long menu that covers everything from your standard plate of eggs, to more imaginative fare like granola pancakes, creative skillets, and a genuinely delicious "lite" selection mean there's something for everyone. I've been to Le Peep on several occasions now and have had the following: *French Toast - coated in custard and fried these are sweet, creamy and delicious just as they are. Only gave them a kiss of syrup. *Migas the "Lite" Way - Tortillas, egg whites, a bit of salsa and a mix of fresh veggies. Bright, fresh flavor that didn't leave me feeling bloated. *Spanish Omelet - Fresh tomatoes, chroizo, onions folded into a tasty omelet with sour cream *Blueberry Granola Pancakes - This was a risk. I wasn't sure how granola and pancakes would go together, but somehow they managed it. The blueberries gave a nice tartness while the granola gave a sweet crunch. Also worth mentioning are their "Peasant Potatoes", which are their breakfast potatoes. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. If you're looking for something beyond the IHOP mountain of blah, definitely check Le Peep out. read more

First time visiting Le Peep. What a fun name! We ordered the Dutch Apple Oatmeal and Wanderers Skillet. Filled us up just like a good breakfast should. Very busy but service didn't slack. Seems like they get busy quite often as everyone remained calm and cool. One thing I would have liked to see if the nutritional value on the lighter fare choices. read more

I ordered the spinach crepe and found it to be stuffed with broccoli and a few spinach leaves. I did not want a lumpy broccoli crepe and found it to be underwhelming. Husband had the Monte Cristo which was delicious. Lots of breakfast stuff on the menu, not a lot of lunch options. The staff is very nice and friendly but not sure if I'd go back. I guess if I'm really craving a crepe, this would be the place to go. JUST LESS BROCCOLI. read more

Don't visit the one in Irving. There was a roach on the floor this morning and they don't have Diet Coke or any diet sweeteners for other no calorie beverages. Also, no decor to speak of. I would visit other locations. read more

Had an omelet and it was OK. Not great but good. Service was very good. Solid place for a quick breakfast.

This place is a cute, quaint place to grab brunch anytime of the week. If you come on a week day, this place is usually busy, but you will see a few empty tables. The servers are usually very nice and friendly, and I like how they have a pitcher of water and glasses already on each table. I usually get their white lighting which is made out of egg whites and has chicken, cheese and chilies. I usually get a side of their peasant potatoes, which a small cubed potatoes that are seasoned and tasty. read more
