Le Peep is AWESOME. Their portions are as big as IHOP's, but better quality and better price. I went for brunch with my boyfriend on a Sunday. It was kind of crowded, but we didn't wait longer than 5 minutes for our table. I ended up getting a big and beautiful Belgian waffle, with two scrambled eggs, two pieces of sausage, two pieces of bacon and potatoes for like $9. I should've taken photos, because there was a lot of food. My boyfriend got an omelet, don't remember what it was called, but it's the only omelet that has avocado and ham in it. He also got eggs, potatoes and sausage. The waffle was heavenly. Very soft and warm. Eggs are much better than what you get at IHOP, but their potatoes are alright. I'm very picky about potatoes, as I've had some really good ones in the past. The service is pretty good. Within moments of sitting down, the waiter came up to us to take our drink orders. We didn't have to wait long either to get our food orders in. Just a tip, you pay at the front and leave tip on the table. Le Peep is in a large shopping center off route1 and has plenty of Parking. We've driven by this place many times and finally decided to stop by for a breakfast on a weekday. They have a variety of items different from regular diner food. Our breakfast was made with all fresh ingredients. We tried omelettes with lots go veggies and cheese with side of fruits and toast, croissant egg sandwich and Chocolate oreo pancakes. Taste was excellent, portions just right. The side of breakfast potatoes complimented the meal well even though it wasn't necessary. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Service was fast and hassle free. Great breakfast/brunch options! We came in on a Sunday morning, and looked like a full house - still, only waited ~5-7 mins. We shared the monthly pancake special (chocolate chip apple-cinnamon pancakes) and they were AMAZING. They had the perfect amount of chocolate chips, in between were cinnamon apples and a cinnamon syrup drizzled over. We also had the Sicilian skillet which was okay. I wish it was more well done. We added peppers and they were hardly sautéed at all, the cheese was a little cold and congealed. Next time I will specify more well-done, but that may be just my taste! read more

This little spot located in a random Edison strip mall is undoubtedly a staple in this area. Always packed every time we go! I've been there many times for breakfast/brunch. This time I got the eggs harvest (vegetable eggs benedict) with a side of grits. The eggs were awesome but the grits were watery. My husband got the shrimp and grits and his grits were good because they made them thicker with cheese in them. Hit or miss I guess on the grits but we will definitely be returning. I ordered the breakfast combos and man there's so much food. The food was pretty good and tasteful. The only negative I could say is the service is slow, and it takes a while to get your seats and food. We arrived around 11:30 and weren't seated around 12:15 so it was about a 45 minute wait. We were a party of 9 so it took a little longer to get seated. When we finally got seated there were cold water pitchers waiting at the table. Our waiter arrived immediately and took our orders. Food took about 15-20 minutes to come but it was worth the wait. We were seated within seconds upon entering. A total plus. I set my expectations aside. We were seated with a pitcher of ice cold lemon water and two mason jars waiting for us to soak up the moment. They have a touchless menu. You know, the QR code. Actually what brought me here was a picture of a croissant on one of the reviews. I didn't bother reading the reviews as the croissant completely bought me in. The customer service was beyond exceptional. I stopped in to Le Peep yesterday on my was to NYC and I must say I was impressed. I ordered the bananas foster french toast and even though it wasn't on the menu, my very friendly server was happy to oblige. I was there around 1:00pm so they were extremely busy. My food did take "a little longer" than usual but again, very busy and my server checked in on me to advise and thank me for my patience, that goes a long way. I've been to this place twice for brunch and both times it was GOOD! The place is located in a strip mall off US 1, inside its diner style seating. Service is great, the waiters are friendly and knowledgeable, i did not have a reservation but was seated within 2 mins.
