It looks very aesthetic and cute, but doesn't have those "at home" flavors it used to have. The look is more updated and there's more tables. After a long night shift, a delicious breakfast is well deserved. My friend and I never visited this restaurant before and wanted to try out their breakfast. I ordered Tater Tots Benedict and my friend ordered the Fried Oreo Pancakes. The tater tots were perfectly crispy and was smothered in creamy hollandaise. Their choice of cheese was splendid as it added the right amount of saltiness and cheese pull with every bite. To top it all off, I ordered my favorite type of bread, rye bread. It was buttered and toasted. My friend ordered the Fried Oreo Pancakes. The pancakes were fluffy, savory and sweet from the Oreo flavor. The drizzle on top made the pancakes extra moist. Le Peep is one of my favorite brunch places in the area. It has such a homey vibe. My friend and I came to catch up here and had the Florentine frittata and the peaches and cream pancakes to share. The frittata was so good with sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms, and artichoke pieces. I would definitely order this again. The peaches and cream pancakes were also delicious. The cream melted pretty fast but understandable considering the pancakes were hot and came straight from the kitchen. The iced coffee was good. The service was outstanding. I didn't get to finish my iced coffee but our waitress offered to go cups. I also made a mistake ordering but she was able to correct it and help me out instantly. All these years, I have passed by but never went in to eat. I had the perception that the wait time was long, and I don't like to wait. Last week, we were looking for a place to have a quick brunch and I saw this on Yelp with the option to check wait time. I got on the wait list, and by the time I got there, my table was ready! It tracks your progress in the wait list. I just ate there again and had the same great experience with the wait list feature. We just went in and walked past all the people who were waiting. The food is good and the service is prompt and friendly. Last week we had the avocado toast with salmon, which I loved (light). Today we had the grande skillet, which is super filling. My only issue, I had ordered the chai tea without sugar- but it came out sweet. I suspect the chai tea is preflavored, so it cannot be customized. read more

I've passed by this Le Peep for a long time and always noticed large crowds lining up in the morning but I never felt like waiting. This past weekend I was fortunate enough to beat the rest of the crowd by getting there early. Inside is a cozy space, the tables are kind of tightly packed together to maximize space. There is also outdoor seating. We were given a table immediately upon arrival and while we had a third person still on the way, our waitress was more than accommodating by constantly checking up on us if we needed anything. Here's what we ordered: Spanish Omelette - came with combo Mexican blend cheese, chorizo, green chilies, and salsa Create your own omelette - did jalapeño, sausage, American cheese and bacon Rock lobster scramble - chunks of lobster with cheese in scrambled eggs. Our meals arrived quick and each one was delicious. The breakfast potatoes were a little too salty for my liking but it was manageable. It is no Comfi, but it works well for being a reliable brunch spot off of Route 1. The portions are big; you get more than enough food. In addition, the service is friendly and quick, you will not wait more than 30 minutes for your food to come out. Visited Le Peep in Edison, NJ yesterday. They were spot on On the waiting time(it was about an hour ). I was a very excited about the food, everything looked sooo good. I had eggs with bacon and waffle fries. I was not impressed, my fries were soooooo hard and cold and my bacon was so over cooked it almost tasted burned. I am giving a 3 star because my mocha coffee was soo good and my daughter LOVED her Tres Leches French Toast. Now I know NOT to order waffle fries nor bacon here.
