One of our favorite newer spots in Naples. The service is top notch and the food is outstanding. Mostly Asian fare, with lots of unique twists. They also have an excellent cocktail and wine menu. The decor inside is wonderful, the bar is a little swanky, and they have a nice patio.

Le Colonial in Naples is absolutely stunning -- the interior and patio are both gorgeous, but the outdoor seating is especially worth it. The ambiance alone makes it a must-visit. We started with the summer rolls and beet salad, both super fresh and flavorful. I had the pho for my main, and it was perfectly portioned with rich, delicious broth. A beautiful spot for a relaxing and elegant meal! The service was also great.

We had been wanting to try le colonial for a while and decided to save it for a special occasion. Our 24th wedding anniversary. We did make reservations and requested the lounge area. We ended up sitting at the bar which is always our preference. The decor is warm and inviting. Laura and a young man from Colombia whose name escapes me now, were our bartenders. I will say that from the moment we were greeted at the hostess stand the service was great! There was a fan over our seats at the bar that was on very high-speed and it was making it very cold, they immediately adjusted it upon request. We had the chicken and mushroom ravioli, which is absolutely full of all sorts of flavor and made with thin rice paper. We had the dumplings and the fried rice, which were also wonderfully delicious. For cocktails I had the French kiss and my husband had the smoked old-fashioned. Both were well made. We truly enjoyed the service, the ambiance and the flavors and we will be planning our next visit.

Def will return. High ceiling, fresh flowers and greens, lush retro decor, brass bars, Parisian red, Asian portraits, Vietnamese water scenery painting anchors the main dinning hall, lovely bar, chopstick rests, wonderful music - Ella Fitzgerald lovely, the panels of leaves line the narrow hall to the bathroom ... nicely done. Good service. The first thing the server did as she greeting us, was gently checked the table's balance. We've Beet salad Ribs Beef rolls / raviolis They're all delicious but I prefer the first two. The beef rolls are delicious but too much meat - this is picking bones among the eggs. I like their chopsticks: if you can reuse it, do take it with you. They're of good quality and beautiful. Thank you.

My husband and I came here for dinner one night and had a wonderful experience. We were sat on the patio with our reservation, but the inside and outside of the restaurant were beautiful. The food was delicious! We ordered the curry based on other yelp reviews, but it actually was our least favorite thing (lacked some flavor). The ravioli was our favorite thing we ordered!!

I have no words. If you don't understand how French and Vietnamese work together than you haven't been here. Everything here is perfect. From the wait staff to the kind chef ( shoutout my boy chef jack) to the decoration. It's such a beautiful and intentional place. All the flowers are REAL. That's so rare for restaurants today. The food? I'll never be able to get over it. The blend of flavors is perfect. My boyfriend who has never tried tuna tar tar loved it. We tried so many wonderful dishes. The chicken curry reminded me of my childhood, but was even better. The food is cooked with passion and purpose. The drinks? Holy cow they are GOOD. Not so strong you taste t straight alcohol but they get the job done. Just when you think the food can't get better out comes dessert. WOW. The chocolate cake was a show and beignets were perfect. The sauces paired perfectly. Shaking beef is also one of the best dishes on the menu. The food is easy to eat. Can't wait to come back to eat and see my new friends

Ribs...to dies for

A wonderful elegant and casual setting, we ate on the patio. The service was attentive and the food was fantastic. The green curry shrimp came with a warning: it was hot/spicy/beware!. I chose it and it needed the warning! and was delicious paired with some extra sticky coconut rice. The ribs were meaty and tasty, everything delish. All in all an enjoyable lunch time.

This is my third Le Colonial location in the last decade. With the others being San Francisco and Chicago. While I'm ecstatic to see elevated Asian cuisine (specifically Vietnamese) in the heart of Naples. Some of the items feel like failed attempts. Many of the dishes are overpriced for the portion you receive. This was our first time having lunch. It was over $100 a person at $460+ for the items sele below. Drinks - le colonial rose was good as were the various (pricey) cocktails we tried Apps - egg rolls (tasty), lotus salad, beef carpaccio, ravioli Entrees - shaking beef (portion size was definitely disappointing...as someone else noted, it's more like a salad than an entree), chicken curry (on the sweeter side but enjoyable) Sides - garlic noodles (little too sweet and overcooked noodles), garlic green beans (disappointing, not much flavor) Service was very pleasant but quite slow at times. Ambiance was amazing and probably the reason LC gets four stars instead of 3.

Beet salad - very good!

Food and service are amazing. My favorite is the eggplant stir fry dish. Beef noodle soup and spring rolls are also wonderful.

We've lived in Naples for six years, and somehow, we had never made it to Bleu Provence. Well…read more.. that was a mistake! Our long-overdue first visit was absolutely delightful. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere transports you somewhere else. The interior is beautiful, and the back patio is just as charming. You truly feel like you've stepped into another place in time. Our bartender, Kiril, was wonderful and kept our drinks flowing all evening, while John took us on a little tour of their wine cellar. It was incredible to see the vast selection of wines available both for the restaurant and for retail. We started with the escargot because, well... when in a French restaurant, do as the French do! I also had the beet salad, which was delicious. For our entrees, my husband had the Wagyu Short Ribs Bourguignon, and I had the Braised Chicken Basquaise. Both were absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. There were so many menus to explore: happy hour, the regular dinner menu, the drink menu, and, of course, the September Sizzle menu. If you're not familiar with Sizzle, it's a September dining promotion featuring the restaurants special three-course meals for $49, including an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. Many other restaurants in the Naples area participate in this September sizzle as well so be on the lookout as it's a great deal. And speaking of dessert... the Hummingbird Cake was incredible. Honestly, I may have to go back just for that! All in all, our first night back in Naples was made even better by discovering a restaurant we somehow waited six years to try. Bleu Provence was well worth the wait, and I'm already looking forward to going back. #BleuProvence #NaplesFloridaEats #googlelocalguides #FrenchCuisine #NaplesRestaurantWeek

We ordered the paella for four with skirt steak, white asparagus, and saffron rice. The portion size was unbelievable. Not only did it feed us dinner that night, but I enjoyed the leftovers for six meals afterward. The saffron rice was rich and flavorful, the skirt steak was tender, and the white asparagus added a nice touch that made the dish feel special. For dessert, we brought home the Basque cheesecake with fig sauce. It was creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of sweetness from the fig sauce. Many people rave about the cheesecake, and after trying it myself, I understand why. It was absolutely delicious. We also picked up a bottle of red and a bottle of white wine for $25 each. Both wines paired beautifully with the food and made our takeout dinner feel a little more special. What impressed me most was how well everything traveled. The food tasted as good at home as it would have in a restaurant, and the generous portions meant we enjoyed El Basque for days. Great food, great value, and a meal that kept on giving. We'll definitely be back.

Every detail, from the atmosphere to the quality of the food and outstanding service, came together to make this a fantastic dining experience. The first couple years we moved to Naples, this was my go to seafood restaurant (for date night,…read moreNYE, guest visits, etc). Absolutely love the Chilean sea bass. Last couple of years, we have been going to new restaurants in the area with varying results. My niece sent me a gift certificate for Christmas since she remembered when I brought her here with her family. I am glad she did since it reminded me how delicious the food is and how attentive the servers/staff are. We started with appetizers (foil gras and caprese salad). For our main entrees, I ordered the halibut special, and my husband got the seafood risotto. Both were delicious. Though I preferred the Chilean sea bass, the halibut was cooked well (buttery, flaky, etc) and came with lighter sides than the Chilean sea bass. The risotto was creamy with lots of seafood. Very good selection of wines by the glass. Overall, we had a very good meal and a pleasant evening. Since we didn't came here for their early dining specials, the check total was a bit pricey but is within reason for a 5th avenue restaurant. We Will definitely come back again.

Overall, I would give this restaurant 0 stars if that were possible…read more **Food:** Mine: 4 stars | My wife's: 1 star **Ambience:** 2 stars **Service:** Waiter: 4 stars | Manager/owner: 0 stars We went for an early dinner around 6:00 p.m. and chose one of the prix-fixe menu options, which included an appetizer, entrée, dessert, and a bottle of wine described as the "Chef's Selection." We asked if we could taste the wine first. We didn't particularly like it, but the waiter explained that the bottle had already been opened, so we accepted it. My meal was actually quite good: smoked salmon, coq au vin, and crêpes with fruit. Unfortunately, my wife's entrée -- steak with fries -- was very disappointing. The meat arrived barely warm, was very greasy, and was even difficult to cut. We called the waiter over, and she brought the owner's brother to our table. When my wife explained the problem with her meal, his reaction was unbelievable. Instead of listening or trying to resolve the issue, he became loud and confrontational. He told my wife that she was "difficult," insisted that the meat was great, and aggressively asked what she wanted -- while also telling her that she would not be getting any more meat. I was speechless. My wife was so intimidated by his behavior that she simply said she didn't want anything else. I finished my meal, and when the check arrived, I noticed that my wife had been charged the full price for her entire meal. I objected and tried to discuss it with him. At that point, it was no longer about the money. I even suggested paying in full for my meal and paying for the portions of my wife's meal that she had actually eaten. Unfortunately, there was no possibility of having a calm, rational conversation. He became increasingly emotional and continued shouting. I had to remind him several times that I would not accept him speaking to my wife in such an inappropriate and disrespectful manner. During his rant, he threatened to call the police if I did not pay the entire bill. Given everything that had happened, I was not willing to simply pay the full amount as though nothing had occurred. So he actually called the police. After the officers spoke with both sides and understood what had happened, I accepted the suggested resolution and paid only for my own meal. We dine out almost every night, and in all those years, we have never experienced anything remotely like this. A disappointing steak can happen in any restaurant. What made this experience unacceptable was the way a legitimate complaint was handled: with aggression, intimidation, and complete disrespect toward a guest. One final sidenote: after everything that happened, we looked up the bottle of wine that had been presented as the restaurant's "Chef's Selection." We found the same bottle listed at a local retailer for $5.99. I have eaten in many French restaurants in both the United States and Europe, and I have always associated and experienced French cuisine not only with great food, but also with a proud tradition of hospitality and professionalism. The behavior we experienced here felt like an insult to that great culinary culture. For a French restaurant, that was a rather fitting final surprise to an unforgettable evening -- unfortunately, for all the wrong reasons.

The amuse bouche was a duo of dips consisting of a white eggplant puree, and a hummus served with homemade chips. We all started with the crab cake which was crisp on the outside and filled with plump crab and just the right amount of seasoning. It was served with a dollop of sauce similar to a tartar but with a unique flavor that complemented the crab. For the second course, my 2 dining partners chose the swordfish. I chose the quail which was the envy of the table. It was so well prepared and had a good amount of moist meat inside the crispy skin. The small piece of foie gras on the side, which I usually don't eat, was actually divine. For the main I had the Wagyu beef short rib and the rest of the table had the duck leg which they were very happy with. The short rib was fall-off-the-bone tender. We all ended with the Ghanaian chocolate mousse. The coconut meringue gives the unique mousse a fun crunch and every bite was delish. After our dinner, chef Andy came out and chatted with us for a while which is always entertaining and interesting. I really don't think you can go wrong no matter what you order. I've never had a bad dish at Hyde N Chic, and there is no other restaurant in Naples that comes even close to the quality and creativity. We've already made a reservation to return next week and try different things. I highly recommend!
