One of our favorite newer spots in Naples. The service is top notch and the food is outstanding. Mostly Asian fare, with lots of unique twists. They also have an excellent cocktail and wine menu. The decor inside is wonderful, the bar is a little swanky, and they have a nice patio.

Food is beautifully presented and always delicious. Drinks, fabulous. Ambiance is so beautiful and romantic. Service is pretty good. Favorite restaurant in SWFL. We go sometimes just for dessert & excellent cappuccino. Book far in advance!

We had been wanting to try le colonial for a while and decided to save it for a special occasion. Our 24th wedding anniversary. We did make reservations and requested the lounge area. We ended up sitting at the bar which is always our preference. The decor is warm and inviting. Laura and a young man from Colombia whose name escapes me now, were our bartenders. I will say that from the moment we were greeted at the hostess stand the service was great! There was a fan over our seats at the bar that was on very high-speed and it was making it very cold, they immediately adjusted it upon request. We had the chicken and mushroom ravioli, which is absolutely full of all sorts of flavor and made with thin rice paper. We had the dumplings and the fried rice, which were also wonderfully delicious. For cocktails I had the French kiss and my husband had the smoked old-fashioned. Both were well made. We truly enjoyed the service, the ambiance and the flavors and we will be planning our next visit.

My husband and I came here for dinner one night and had a wonderful experience. We were sat on the patio with our reservation, but the inside and outside of the restaurant were beautiful. The food was delicious! We ordered the curry based on other yelp reviews, but it actually was our least favorite thing (lacked some flavor). The ravioli was our favorite thing we ordered!!

Ribs...to dies for

A wonderful elegant and casual setting, we ate on the patio. The service was attentive and the food was fantastic. The green curry shrimp came with a warning: it was hot/spicy/beware!. I chose it and it needed the warning! and was delicious paired with some extra sticky coconut rice. The ribs were meaty and tasty, everything delish. All in all an enjoyable lunch time.

Summer rolls and beet salad

Le Colonial in Naples is absolutely stunning -- the interior and patio are both gorgeous, but the outdoor seating is especially worth it. The ambiance alone makes it a must-visit. We started with the summer rolls and beet salad, both super fresh and flavorful. I had the pho for my main, and it was perfectly portioned with rich, delicious broth. A beautiful spot for a relaxing and elegant meal! The service was also great.

Def will return. High ceiling, fresh flowers and greens, lush retro decor, brass bars, Parisian red, Asian portraits, Vietnamese water scenery painting anchors the main dinning hall, lovely bar, chopstick rests, wonderful music - Ella Fitzgerald lovely, the panels of leaves line the narrow hall to the bathroom ... nicely done. Good service. The first thing the server did as she greeting us, was gently checked the table's balance. We've Beet salad Ribs Beef rolls / raviolis They're all delicious but I prefer the first two. The beef rolls are delicious but too much meat - this is picking bones among the eggs. I like their chopsticks: if you can reuse it, do take it with you. They're of good quality and beautiful. Thank you.

Beef stir fry

Went for lunch and had their prix fixe menu. The service is very professional, and spot on and their patio is lovely. The dumplings were wonderful, tasty with just the right amount of sauce. The beef stir fry was delicious, a tiny bit heavy on onions but it didn't detract from the flavor. The vanilla crème brûlée was topped with fresh fruit and was perfect, tasty and creamy with just enough sweetness! Definitely heading back for dinner soon.

Beet salad - very good!

Outstanding. I guess the place should be defined as a "hole…read morein the wall", as it is small, but it still offers inside and outside seating. Great ambiance. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with lots of paintings by a local artist (many are available for sale). Excellent cocktail and wine list, small but with excellent, fair prices and good selection. Lots of dishes are offered Tapas style, and even most of the main dishes are available as half size. We had a bunch of tapas first, all delicious - truffled mashed potatoes with an egg on top, blood sausage, escargot, white anchovy (boquerones), chorizo and Brie. We also shared cassoulet and short rib - outstanding. We had Basque Cheesecake for dessert, and this was possibly the very best cheesecake I ever had. Outstanding service, again one of the very best - friendly, attentive, prompt. Most highly recommended. Keep in mind - the place is small, so reservations are highly suggested.

Run to this place. What a fantastic dining experience. Saw the reviews online and knew I had to…read morecome here. The pictures looked too good to be true. We sat outside because we had a dog so I did not get to check out the interior. I had called the day before to make a reservation but they were closed and the recording suggested to use open Table to make a reservation so I did. We arrived just before 4:30pm, and a table was already set up outside. They had early bird specials which we tried, happy hour drinks and appetizers. They also had a preset menu which we opted for. It was all wonderful. I was not a fan of the anchovies appetizer we tried. This place deserves a bib gourmand. The owner/chef John also came out and was serving as well. Lovely experience cannot wait to come back. I would drive two hours to come here again.

Had an absolutely wonderful evening at Bistro 821 on 5th Avenue! We went for the Wine & Dine…read morespecial and were blown away by the quality, portions, and overall experience. The food was amazing with huge servings and every dish was perfectly prepared. The atmosphere outside was absolutely perfect -- relaxing, elegant, and exactly what you want for a night out on 5th Avenue. Our server Danielle was super friendly, attentive, and made the entire experience even better with her great personality and service. The hostess was amazing as well and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Bistro 821 continues to be one of the best dining spots in Naples. Highly recommend!

The first couple years we moved to Naples, this was my go to seafood restaurant (for date night,…read moreNYE, guest visits, etc). Absolutely love the Chilean sea bass. Last couple of years, we have been going to new restaurants in the area with varying results. My niece sent me a gift certificate for Christmas since she remembered when I brought her here with her family. I am glad she did since it reminded me how delicious the food is and how attentive the servers/staff are. We started with appetizers (foil gras and caprese salad). For our main entrees, I ordered the halibut special, and my husband got the seafood risotto. Both were delicious. Though I preferred the Chilean sea bass, the halibut was cooked well (buttery, flaky, etc) and came with lighter sides than the Chilean sea bass. The risotto was creamy with lots of seafood. Very good selection of wines by the glass. Overall, we had a very good meal and a pleasant evening. Since we didn't came here for their early dining specials, the check total was a bit pricey but is within reason for a 5th avenue restaurant. We Will definitely come back again.
