Pear with walnut & honey in a crepe

This little spot in downtown Austin was fun and serves some pretty large crepes. They have a wide variety of both sweet or savory crepes. There is also bacon and egg breakfast with a plain crepe on the side. Our party's only recommendation is that they offer some homemade or local jams/jellies for the crepe and bypass the plastic container of jelly you find at a fast food restaurant. That small addition would be great! Otherwise our food was warm, tasted great and we enjoyed the outdoor seating option on a warm morning.

This is a delightful little cafe where I had a salad and soda to go. The staff were very friendly, my order was accurate, the time from ordering to receiving my food was fast, and my salad was delicious.

While the service and coffee is very good, the crepes did not give a WOW factor. Being European, I may be pickier than most, but it was a little thick and cakey for my liking. The apple one we got also tasted like the apples were from a can. That being said, the latte was fantastic, and we got to discuss cool new restaurants to try with our server. The cafe is on a corner, so while the outdoor seating is nice, it is a little loud with traffic.

What a lovely little crepe shop Had the Nutella crepe with strawberries bananas and ice cream, it was yummy! Service was great, friendly staff Small inside but has cute patio dining

Food was amazing service was even better they were so helpful and kind. Will definitely be coming back!!!

Small but mighty! This is a cute and cozy spot to enjoy a good ole fashioned crepe. My husband ordered a latte which he loved. He mentioned that when they brought it out it was the perfect, drinkable temperature. Our waitress was super sweet and quick to bring out our food. I got a classic butter sugar crepe with a side of fruit salad and two over medium eggs. He ordered one of the specialty crepes with three over easy eggs. We practically licked our plates clean! It was the perfect start to our day. Would definitely come back.

I stayed at the hotel nearby to the restaurant. We wanted to try something different for breakfast other than the bland hotel breakfast. Was able to get a seat pretty quickly since it was a weekday. We sat indoors but there were plenty of seats outside as well. I got a cappuccino to start. The coffee itself was nothing great but the presentation was impressive. I got a savory crepe with chicken. Crepe Payasanne. Red pepper pesto and chipotle pepper sauce was a great combination.

LCC is a good breakfast spot on the corner of East 2nd St and San Jacinto in Austin. Great coffee and good crepes, croissants, etc. The interior is the sunflower yellow of Provence with nostalgic French music playing in the background. The service is fast and friendly. We had to eat indoors as the construction noises outside were thundering. Skip your hotel's lackluster 'complimentary' breakfast and treat yourself to some good local cuisine

The cafe au lait is so rich and creamy. The hint of lavender is very nice. The service is very welcoming and attentive. There is quiet piano music playing in the background. The indoor seating is wide open so you can hear everyone's conversations.

This was such a cute last stop on our vacation in Austin. Everything was so yummy from the coffees to the sweet crepes! Our server was very attentive and the food came out in a timely manner. The place is small, so you may need to wait, but it's worth it!

I never had crepes before and I was a little nervous, but OMG! The crepes were so light, fluffy, and delicious. The server recommended the lox crepe and all I can say is WOW. It was so good I was sad when I finished. My boyfriend got the Parisian breakfast and it was good, but just didn't compare to my dish. I'll definitely be back when I come back to Austin!

Great food and coffee and service. Easy to walk to from the Westin. Cute place with tables outdoors as well. I would definitely come back if in the area.

***FOOD: Great Breakfast, lunch or dessert place. Solid NUTELLA CREPE. Had BREAKFAST CREPE w/EGGS & BACON - good country home cooking. Great coffee & chai latte. They have sweet & savory crepes and salads too. ***COST (OUT OF 4$) $$- reasonable cost $7 for the crepe & $15 for breakfast crepe ***DÉCOR: very folksy with French metal advertisement signs old clocks and cast iron pans. Yellow kitchen area. Great outdoor patio seating. ***SERVICE: good & friendly, food and drinks came pretty fast. Closes at 2pm every day so no dinner or nighttime dessert ***RECOMMEND: DEFINITELY RECOMMEND for breakfast and lunch.

There's an empty lot next door for parking as well as some street parking, but both are pretty limited and hard to come by. If you can Uber, I recommend it. The outdoor tent setup is really pretty and feels like a romantic date night and the main dining experience, while the inside is much more basic, but air conditioned. We were seated indoors which was good since it had just rained and the weather was quite muggy. Our unfriendly waiter (so French) came over right away to take drink orders. Our group consisted of one beer drinker, one cocktail sipper, one soda guzzler and one water drinker. The drinks were very good. For appetizers we started with the grilled octopus and escargots, both of which were delicious and the stars of the meal. For entrees two of us ordered the steak frites, also ordered bolognese, and côte de porc. Nothing was bad at all, but nothing really stood out either. For dessert we tried the crème brûlée and chocolate ganache, which were fine to finish the meal. If you go, definitely get the grilled Spanish octopus, that was the standout dish for me. For a party of four, our bill came out to $360 plus the tip. I'm glad I finally tried it, but with the higher prices and kind of average food, I don't feel a strong urge to come back anytime soon. Maybe in good weather I would uber over for some drinks and great appetizers.

Five words. OBSCENELY OVERPRICED AND ABSOLUTE SLOP…read more AVOID THIS PLACE!!! My rating is a NEGATIVE 10, however that choice is not available. Sam L. is correct in his review. It bears repeating. OBSCENELY OVERPRICED AND ABSOLUTE SLOP. I went there for my birthday, and I need a redo of my birthday. I cannot comprehend how ANYONE could rate this as not poison. I was sick during the night from this food. It was just awful. The only good item was the fresh baguette that was served with the escargots. The escargots were flavourless and obscenely overpriced. I requested salt. It did little to redeem them. I had the absurdly overpriced duck - $45. It was flavourless, dry as a bone, miniscule in size, served with frisée (awful), and an overabundance of roasted potatoes. $45 for this is a crime. I would not serve this to a starving stray dog. The plate was clearly designed to extract maximum profit for a tiny strip of dry duck. The fat on the duck was equivalent to to the minimal amount of protein. My dinner companion and I ordered pomme frites as a side. We imagined that it would be a reasonably sized side plate. They brought a TUB. It was a serving bowl size. We commented about this and the staff say that they like to 'make sure that people are fed'. I certainly appreciate the sentiment, but oh my, not THIS place. I had the special desert. Nope. It was an abysmal failure. It was supposed to be a coconut rice pudding with mango sauce. It was served with a flavourless piece of millefeuille on top. Pointless. The rice pudding and mango sauce were pre-cooking school level. Again I revisit the pricing on this. Criminal. I was out with a friend who was kind and generous enough to take me out for my birthday, so I put on a brave face. This place should shut down immediately. It is a revolting excuse for food. Actual excellent french food can be found in NY for FAR less than these prices. I will cook a french meal (satisfying and delicious) for any person who disagrees. This place is a trashcan. PLEASE I beg of you, do NOT waste your money! Stay home and cook, or take me up on my offer.

Food: Came here specifically to try bouillabaisse since it's pretty much the only restaurant in Austin that makes it. Large portion of seafood and very filling from the bread! I would say the drinks are really nice here - they have a large variety of absinthe and comes with a very cool water drip vessel. Service: Great service - came to check in often and offered some good insight into the different absinthe drinks. Rosé Gosé (note accents) is in an unassuming Airport Blvd location (right next to Jewboy Burgers, an Austin favorite). It is run by a couple from Belarus that came here right after Covid to open up a restaurant, with a sister in Minsk. Defying expectations, the menu is not Balkan at all. If anything, there is a strong Asian influence with poke bowls and a lot of seafood. But the menu also offers beef tartare on their raw bar menu, as well as a steak offering and grilled chicken. It's a diverse and adventurous menu, all the way from small plates to hefty mains and vegetable sides. For the dessert, try the pavlova, a meringue confection stuffed with coconut mousse and topped with lime sorbet and a grapefruit slice sidecar. Everything is superbly presented, and unquestionably fresh and healthy without veering into twigs and berries territory. The cocktail menu is also playful, with a lot of nontraditional glassware and slight spins on popular drinks; their version of a Paloma uses prosecco instead of a splash of soda. The servers are all dressed in rosé jumpsuits and very attentive. The space is amiable and elegant without being pretentious. The table spacing is a little close, so that conversations carry between guests. The table setting has some nice touches, like the little wooden bench that holds your fork and knife off the table. In European fashion, water can be asked for but it won't be served with ice. Plan on taking your time and enjoying course after course.

Rosé Gosé was a delightful Mother's Day lunch spot. It is a whole vibe, and it is uniquely French! When we walked in an artist was playing romantic music on his keyboard, which set the tone for the brunch. It is a small restaurant inside with a larger area of seating on the patio. Of course, our reservations were inside in the comforts of air conditioning. You immediately notice a wine wall hence the name Rosé Gosé. The restaurant has many windows which provide lots of natural light. The tables house miniature yellow roses and utensils sat in a small wooden block...very French. All the servers were dressed in mauve clothing that resemble scrubs from a hospital. If someone stepped out in a French beret, I would have fallen over. Our server, Sergey, immediately served us water and took our order. The restaurant was highlighted as a modern European bistro. The atmosphere was charming, elegant, and stylish making it ideal for a Mother's Day brunch. My hubby ordered a ribeye, eggs and French Fries. I ordered the avocado toast with salmon and egg whites. While I'm not a huge red meat eater, I tasted a piece of the hubs ribeye and it was nicely prepared. My avocado toast was yummy to the nth degree! Everything was perfect. The avocado was precisely cut and at the right level of softness. The salmon was chopped into tiny little squares and so enjoyable to eat. We could not be more pleased. With a name like Rosé Gosé you would expect their drinks to be superb. My hubby ordered a hibiscus tea, which was delightful. I ordered a mimosa that had high quality ingredients and was perfectly balanced...so smooth. We were also pleased with the drinks. This was the first time at Rosé Gosé, however, it definitely will not be the last.

It's definitely one of the few restaurants in Austin that feels worth dressing up for, which I really appreciate after living in more aesthetic-driven cities. The interior is lovely, with hanging pothos throughout that brings so much life and greenery into the space while still complementing the overall design. The bar in particular is gorgeous, and I really enjoyed sitting there with my husband for dinner during happy hour, which runs from 5-10 p.m. on Mondays. My martini came out ice cold and exactly how I like it. The snapper crudo was incredibly fresh, with satisfyingly thick slices. The crispy chicken wings were more standard, so I'd probably skip those next time, but the fritto misto was delicious--it felt like their fancier take on tempura, and I loved it. For dessert, they had grapefruit soft serve instead of the pistachio matcha one I've had before. The grapefruit was a little bitter, but still refreshing. That said, I definitely still prefer the pistachio matcha. Overall, I'd absolutely return to Lutie's, whether for another date night or a girls' brunch. My first 1 star experience was when my wife got food poisoning and when I went to inform the chef the next day he told me she was sick all night because she probably drank too much wine. Here is the reason for my second 1 star experience from this restaurant. Went today for a noon reservation on Mother's Day. Firstly, tons of kids here, no kids menu of any sort for Mother's Day. Their option was a grilled cheese with fries, which we were appreciate for, but why would you not think to have options for kids? Fruit cup, small burger, etc. they have these options during normal operations. Second, no one answers the phone here. I called 10+ times between 10am and 11:45am to request indoor seating. By default, they don't answer the phone nor do they at tiny grocer. One of the legs at the table they sat us at was so off balance that our drinks were spilling when someone would add pressure to the table. We had kid with us, so we ended up using three napkins in full cleaning up the spilled water. They missed putting in our order so, every table around us was served before us. We didn't get our food till complaining multiple times. Even after complaining tables around us continued to get their food first. To hold the table over I asked for fries to be delivered, something that should take minutes to prep, took another 15 minutes. Our food finally showed up at 1:15pm. We asked for to go boxes and even the boxes took 5 minutes. What is going on over here? I spent $20 at tiny grocer getting so many snacks for the kids because the food was so delayed. The entire table (minus the two toddlers) ended up leaving with zero food in our stomachs, but extremely frustrated. The manager comped our meal, which was very kind of him and he expressed tons of empathy. Classy move 100% This place is expensive and they just don't have it together. I don't like giving poor reviews, I rarely do it, but given this experience multiple times it's needed.

Another fun touch is that the restaurant is attached to a little shop with unique trinkets to browse, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. I think this place would make a perfect date night spot, you can have a great meal, then walk around the area afterward. I'd definitely come back again.

The tropical margarita is refreshing and deceptively strong! The seafood platter felt like a splurge for me since I'm not a huge fan of raw oysters and found that I much prefer baked oysters. The fish dip that it came with was good with their packaged buttery crackers, but it also paired nicely with their homemade tortilla chips. I love their house made sauces! They were the right amount of spicy and not too tangy. I liked mixing the green sauce with the orange sauce too. The cevichite was limey and fresh. Loved it with the tortillas and the pieces of avocado. I really enjoyed the crispy battered fish taco that came with thinly cut slaw. The wagyu taco was even better- it melted in my mouth! Probably our favorite item of the night and if we could change our order- it would be just ordering a bunch of those two tacos. The servers favorite dessert was chocoflan cake so we ordered that. It was decadent and filling. We probably should have just ordered one dessert to share but was curious to try the cinnamon candied pecan cake. We both agreed that was better than the chocolate one! Not too sweet and great variety of texture.
