I LOVE adorable cafe/bakeries like this. It's in the perfect location for all the foot traffic of folks downtown grabbing lunch. Walk in and greeting you is a beautiful spread of pastries and bread loafs. There is a variety of yummy, fresh, healthy sides available on display as well. You can also order made-fresh sandwiches and salads, and of course espresso drinks. They even have a rotiserrie oven to make their own chickens! The cinnamon roll ($6) has real vanilla bean in the icing. They did not skimp on the chicken in the rotiserrie chicken sandwich ($17) either. I suppose the one nit could be the high prices but hey, you are downtown and the quality of the food is top notch. Order at counter and wait until your name is called. limited amount of indoor/outdoor seating. There are wonderful bamboo utensils for to-go orders. The staff are wonderful - I think the manager was also walking around greeting folks.

Swedish hill is a must try in Austin. This location is really nice to sit down and hang out for a while. The latte was wonderful, the fruit was really fresh, and the cinnamon/mourning bun were both good. The staff is very friendly.

Decided to finally try the newest location- and it lived up to the hype. Despite the fairly long line, the service moved quickly. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating in this relatively small cafe. The baked goods and salads are made locally at their main kitchen and brought fresh daily. I ordered the vanilla chia pudding, the curried beets and a hot latte. The latte took about 8-10 min because there were many people ahead of me- but it was super smooth and worth the wait. The chia pudding was very very refreshing and flavorful with crunchy coconut pieces on top. Beets were also fresh and had a nice subtle curry flavor. Great addition to downtown- very vibrant atmosphere

4.3. I've been wanting to try Tucci's for a long time and I'm happy I finally did. The strip where…read morethe joint is located is very gritty and beaten up - I guess that adds to the philly charm. and I can appreciate a no frills restaurant with mineral fiber ceiling tiles that have also seen some sht... However, i do appreciate a place that seems like it's super clean,. Anyway - I had a chicken cheesesteak and it was fantastic! I will def get that sandwich again and want to try others. Might be a little big pricey but I guess if you compare it to Jersey Mikes or Cheba Hut or other sandwich joints, it's not egregious. The dude working the counter was really nice too.

So I decided to stop by and get one at Tuccis! let me just start off by saying that they load the subs up!! The portions are huge for about ~$13 a sub so that's a plus. Ordering and checking out was quick and service is no frills but it's nice to see they remember locals orders. I ended up dining in which was partially why my rating is a bit lower. I would recc taking out since there wasn't anyone bussing the tables so it was a bit untidy. I was really excited about the sandwich but the cuts of meat were a bit tough (prosciutto) and I probably should've gotten white bread since the wheat kinda fell apart. I'll have to comeback and try a diff combo.

The brisket, pastrami, and cheesesteak sandwiches are all incredible and packed with flavor. The latkes are also a must-order and make a perfect side. Just be sure to get there early, as some of the meats can sell out. If you're looking for something a little different from the traditional Texas BBQ experience, this place delivers.

OVERVIEW: I tried to pick up my online order from Mum Foods, but turns out someone stole my order…read more Bummer, but whatever - this is something that's usually an easy fix. We're human - shit happens, and mistakes are inevitable. But it's how people react that speaks volumes. **What surprised me was how unnecessarily rude the Mum employee was about it.** Orders are left on Mum's counter for DoorDash, Toast, Grubhub, and Seamless customers and delivery drivers to grab without a Mum employee checking order confirmation emails. If someone steals another customer's order, the *normal* response is to confirm I'm really the person who placed the order, then say "Oh sorry about that, looks like someone else took your order. We'll get you squared away with a replacement ASAP. In the meanwhile, could you please contact DoorDash to let them know?" ISSUE: Instead, the employee expediting orders was crazy defensive and rude about a situation that was no way my fault. TIMELINE: - I placed a pick up order via DoorDash at 12pm. I arrived at Mum's pickup area at 12:15pm. - When I tell the employee expediting orders my name, he says "Yeah, it was already picked up," and walks away. - When he returns, I explain I'm the person who placed the order, but I didn't pick it up. - The man says, "Like I SAID, it was already picked up," so I hold up the email on my phone, and say "I can prove I placed the order, but I don't have my food." - He replies, "Yeah, the order was sitting there for a long time. Someone already picked it up." - I tell him "I don't know what I'm supposed to do with this information. I paid for my order, but I don't have any food," and he tells me I need to contact DoorDash. - I tell him "I'll contact DoorDash, but they can only give me a refund. I'd like my food?" Only then does he tells the staff to get me a new order and tells me "LOOK, we're getting you your food." UPDATE: Mum Foods Management replied with a bizarre comment. Mum claimed I was 90 minutes late picking up my order, saying I picked up my order at 2pm. - So which is it? Someone stole my order OR was I too late picking it up? - Their rebuttal may explain why the employee felt justified in being so rude - he incorrectly thought I was late picking up my order. Either way, there's no reason to be rude. - I was NOT 90 minutes late (I have Ring footage of leaving my house at 12:10pm for Mum Foods and returning home at 12:37pm with my order in hand), but Mum's argument is moot either way. If I were hours late, the order should still be there for pick up because the business is supposed to check names. "A 1 star review really hurts a local business like us and I hope you reconsider" - If you don't want a 1 star review, respond with a sincere apology, and don't be rude to customers or lie in your response. "For what its worth we prepared your food twice and obviously lose money in a situation like that" - If you don't want to lose money by preparing an order twice, you should confirm names when people pick up orders.
