Stopped by for a cookie and a match cloud on a weekday morning and loved the vibe of the market. All the staff were super friendly and patient while I had decision paralysis on what to order. Inside the store there isn't a lot of space to sit and chit chat, the chair are all at the counter facing the window. There is patio seating outside but it'll probably be too hot once summer hits in full force. All the items there seem to be on the more expensive side. To be fair that cookie was massive but I'm still on the fence if it was worth the price or not.

I think since this was the opening week, the place was pretty crowded, but even so, the service was fast, which I could appreciate. I was not very impressed by the vanilla cream cold brew because while the coffee is good (smooth, not acidic), the oat milk that they used was watery, which diluted the coffee and got rid of the flavor entirely when the ice melted in the drink. As for the vanilla cold foam, it was nice and thick. It is dairy based, so if you're lactose intolerant, I'd recommend a different drink. They do have a good sized menu with a lot of interesting drink combinations and yummy looking food, so if you're not feeling the coffee, there's a lot of other things you could try.

Happy to have a little market close by! Def on the slightly expensive side but good when you have a craving for cookies like I did. The cookies are huge and so many flavors!

I'm so glad this corner anchor space in Mueller is finally back open after Halcyon closed a long time ago. This is Thoroughbread's sibling, focused on all natural ingredients, and is an all-in-one cafe, bakery, deli, and grocery. The bread selection, is of course, gorgeous. The signature drinks, juices and smoothies all look amazing and are at a decent price point for Mueller. I tried the brioche with butter and it was a tasty treat with some salt on top. The staff was very helpful with picks. I can't wait to go back and try all the giant cookies.

ThoroughFare took over the Halcyon spot and brought a fresh new concept filled with unique grab & go items, small market, made-in cookware and of course, delicious baked goods like Rye sourdough & banana Nutella cookies. Great spot to hang with limited seating inside and a handful of tables on their patio overlooking Mueller Lake.

I've loved ThoroughBread, their OG spot, since day one. I've been one of their biggest fans of the sourdough and cookies from the start. It's my go-to spot when I'm hosting or picking something up for friends, and I always love having their bread and cookies stocked at home. So when they opened ThoroughFare in Mueller, I was beyond excited! and t absolutely lives up to the hype. Their menu has expanded in the best way, and now I'm hooked on even more: the matcha cloud is unreal, the ham and cheese sandwich is a staple, smoothies, fresh juices, and the whipped butters are next-level. Even the wine selection is chef's kiss. 10/10 every time

OMG...their desserts are enough to cause a sane person some degree of cognitive dissonance! Decisions, decisions, decisions, etc. During my visit, I observed a wide variety of baked goods; specifically, the chocolate chip and salty oat cookies are particularly popular. Although I typically prefer cookies with nuts, I purchased several sugar cookies in unique shapes and colors for the hubs, who is the resident "cookie monster". I also selected a piece of key lime pie for myself, following my dessert ritual of consuming it over three days. Quack's serves as a neighborhood gathering spot, with a relaxed atmosphere that attracts regular customers, students, and groups of friends. The bakery was inviting, and embodies the qualities expected from a local neighborhood bakery. While I went to the bakery just to look around, I got sucked in their bakery vortex...in a very good way.

It's a quaint little place with a very laid back atmosphere. It carries on the Italian's happy hour charm and tradition. Serving traditional Italian cocktails and offering free appetizers/finger food during happy hour. My wife and I went to check it out. I ordered a NEGRONI Classic. It reminded me a bit like an Old Fashioned with a little bitterness to it. It was different, but I liked it. I would order it again. My wife ordered the APEROL SPRITZ Classic. This is a really light and refreshing cocktail. My wife and I haven't had anything quite like it. We both liked it and would order it again. They offered a nice little appetizer bar that had a variety of finger foods and appetizers to choose from. We both tried a little bit of everything and some things we liked and some things we weren't too fond of. But hey, it was free. It's probably all good, just depends on your palate and taste preferences. We didn't order anything from the menu this go around, but will the next time we return. The employees/staff were nice and polite. They aren't very talkative. The girl took our drink orders and brought them to us in a timely manner. This would have been a fun place to go while the Olympics were on. They did have a TV inside. They also have a patio area if you prefer sitting outside.

They have the standard Italian fare along with sandwiches and other bites. I got there in time for the breakfast, so I had the breakfast sandwich. During the week you can get the breakfast sandwich and coffee for $8, quite a deal. The breakfast sandwich was on a Kiser roll and normally came with ham. I asked if I could substitute for turkey, and my request was granted. Huge kudos for this massive breakfast sandwich! Also, the cheese was melted. I can not tell you how many time I have ordered a sandwich cheese elsewhere even a melt and the cheese has not come out melted. The sandwich flavorful, hot and delicious. True confession...it was just a bit too much bread for me, yet quite a tasty sandwich. This was a bit amusing being an Italian restaurant and they were playing country music. Some tunes included: Where Hall All the Average People Gone, Devil Woman and Streets of Bakersfield. Definitely will be returning when I'm in that area...

There is also a small dog park right next door, so that kept us entertained throughout our visit. Since I used their QR code for ordering, which was attached to our table, I didn't have much interaction with the employees. But my order was ready quickly and delivered to me smoothly. I ordered a small hot latte with honey and the Smashed Avocado with added poached egg. I was very impressed by both of these items! The latte had perfectly steamed milk and just the right level of sweetness. And I always appreciated beautiful latte art. The toast was super satisfying and it incorporated a variety of interesting flavors. The walnut pesto and balsamic glaze gave the dish a zesty zing, but it was balanced nicely by the avocado and expertly poached egg. I loved Civil Goat Coffee and, if I were local, I would absolutely revisit! Highly recommend!

Self-service ordering, via an ordering platform that takes substantially more time to figure out than had they taken our order themselves. (We ordered two things last week (which we've ordered often, for years) and the staff needed to help us with both, which they acknowledged was confusing on their platform to even them.) All easy fixes, but they seem to be working towards a less customer-oriented experience. Please raise prices rather than degrade the experience. We want you to last for the long haul!
