The atmosphere was very energetic. A very lively crowd with live music the night I was there. The service was very good as well. Might have been the best oysters I've ever had. Really strong wine list as well. The only negative was that my medium rare ribeye I ordered was over cooked. But they brought out a new one and it was exceptional and I'm from Nebraska, which is a beef state. It's a very expensive spot. So you expect them to be able to cook a steak at that price properly. From Ryan the server assistant being super friendly and on the spot with countless refills, to our server Carly being exceptionally polite and accurate as well as pacing our meals perfectly to Will the manager that was making the rounds and spoke to our table to ensure everything was up to snuff. We live walking distance and we've been anticipating the opening of The Global Ambassador. We were kind of skeptical of this place since a lot of construction looked in complete / was finishing up. I would highly recommend reservations and definitely plan if you're planning on having dinner at 6-730 those time slots do go fast. We went on a weekday around 6 and the place was very lively. Upon entrance their host stand is toward the back left ish -- hard to describe but not immediately at the entrance. The restaurant is absolutely so romantic and in the spring / warmer months the courtyard patio area is so cute. It was fairly busy but the ambiance was still there! Food: 4/5 We shared everything and got the beef tartare, duck egg rolls, frites, caesar salad, and the NY strip with chimichurri I have no complaints about the food, i believe everything was fairly priced for quality and expectations of the food. the duck egg rolls and the frites were my favorite, caesar was well done but not outstanding, and the steak was as expected. Service: 5+/5 Outstanding, I was skeptical since the place had not been open for very long and I was honestly not expecting for it to be perfect. But our server took great care of us answered our questions and just made it a seamless experience. The sommelier also helped us pick out a great wine to enjoy with our dinner picks. Service and value of the place exceeded my expectations. Overall: 5/5 I just wanted a nice romantic dinner with my partner, and it was perfectly just that. By the end of my meal any skepticism I had faded away. I ordered the Oscar at brunch which is the benedict with lump crab, asparagus and chives. it was really good. I also had the oysters which were also great. I just wish they were larger. My waitress was amazing, and I loved the ambiance. The manager that was there on Sunday was very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. I also had a great drink at the Pink Dolphin. This is really a 4.5 star review, so I had to decide between 4 and 5 stars. The star of the show at this restaurant is the Truffled Brie Baguette - and on its own it counts for 10 stars out of 5 in my book! I would go to this restaurant just for that appetizer - I'm not kidding. I just might. The ambiance is gorgeous and the service was top shelf. As for the rest of the food, that's where Le Ame slipped a little. A bit of a mixed bag ranging from below average to excellent. Other standout dishes: french onion soup and the ribeye. Overall, it was a 4.5 star experience, and IMO the best Fox Restaurant I've been to (and I've been to almost all of them). read more

Cocktails were ok, just lacks presentation. Food.. oh my, if you never have been in Italy or France you may eat there and think the food is ok. We ordered pasta bolognese "Wagyu bolognese", I even asked the server to make mine "al dente" , he said he will ask the chef, and he came back assured me the pasta will be undercooked as I asked. Lol they use the cheapest thin pasta that impossible to undercook how can you promise then? ‍ Truffle roasted chicken was undercooked and no taste of truffles, actually no taste at all. The service was amazing and this location is beautiful. We were able to sit outside on the patio by the courtyard. Started off with the Duck Spring rolls and the Onion Dip. Both were impressive. They ran out of my first choice which was the Truffle Chicken but we got the Steak Frites and the Short Rib Bourguignon. Both were melt in your mouth and so tender. All the food was amazing: Oysters, Lobster Salad, Short Rib Bourgouignon, Asparagus, but the "sleeper" item was the "Sam's Garlic Butter Noodles". I could have eaten 3 bowls of them. We had a nice experience. Excellent martiniS. Beautiful decor and ambiance was great. Not super loud but definitely high energy. Our server John was awesome and one of the best parts of the evening. Food was a 4.5 star. We had the artichoke, beet frisée salad, baguette with butter and our entrees were the filet and filet au poivre. Artichoke was overcooked but meaty, salad needed more dressing and goat cheese, it was a little boring but with excellent potential. The baguette was hard as a rock - they kept it in the oven too long and it became nearly inedible. The filets were warm, not hot and no grill or sear marks. They almost seemed like they could've been cooked in a food warmer. The au poivre was awesome!!!! The Mac and cheese came out hot and was rich and delicious, and the creamed spinach seemed fresh and perfectly creamy (not overly like many places). I'll be back. Giving grace as they haven't been open too long and were completely at capacity. The hotel is beautifully executed with lots of airy spaces and rich sexiness. Valet was quick and orderly.
