So, this will be a review in (hopeful) progress... *fingers crossed* I ordered 5 pairs of shoes from a vendor in China. The vendor seperated the shoes into two separate e-packages (two pairs in one, three pairs in the other). - Both packages left China on November 7th. - Both packages made it to the US on November 9th. - Both packages were "Processed Through Facility ISC Los Angeles" the same day, two minutes apart from each other (9:14am & 9:16am). - I received one of the packages to my home here in Saint Louis, MO yesterday, November 13th. (LY933850883CN) - The other one, however, is still stuck in the standard "Processed through ISC" state. Ironically, the one that was received and processed two minutes later (9:16am) is the one I received. What could be the reason for the delay on the package that was received the same day mere minutes apart?! Perhaps that one looked a little more "interesting" to the person debating whether or not to steal it? I certainly hope not. "Expected Delivery" for the remaining package is this Friday, November 16th. *holding breath* I'll keep updating but based on SO MANY of the other reviews this could take some time... Update (11/17/18): Interesting, the second package has now made its way to the Omaha, NE Distribution Center. Why it went there, who knows... especially considering the first package never passed through Omaha. It seems like this place is a criminal enterprise with an illegal operation running out of it. I ordered 2 very valuable and relatively rare collectibles from Japan. One look at them and you'd know they aren't ordinary. I didn't have a say in the shipping method and i've never heard of Bell Gardens until now so unless there was an expedited shipping method, I wouldn't have ever imagined Bell Gardens would be the place where they'd disappear. Unfortunately, this is the story of so many others and yet nothing is done about it? We just let these crooked employees steal whatever they want, right? No accountability. No justice. My package from Japan (now worth $6k) was lost/stolen here. When the tracking stopped updating for days, I looked into this facility and immediately found out it's infamous for being a black hole. I was worried, but the sender couldn't do anything until the "required waiting period" passed. Japan Post tried to investigate but couldn't get anywhere because USPS was unresponsive and provided zero useful information. Three months later, USPS finally admitted the package was lost. Japan Post couldn't even refund the full amount because USPS has so many lost-package cases lately that they found the situation suspicious. This item is extremely important to me, and I can't buy another one due to how expensive it has become. Meanwhile, another package of mine went through SF ISC and cleared customs instantly with no issues. So yes, the problem is this facility. I filed a police report with LAPD but they said lost package was not their responsibility. If you're buying expensive items from outside the US, ship with DHL if possible. Don't risk it with USPS. read more

You let them open my package, steal all of the English contents and leave certain pieces additionally damaging them. How pathetic to steal a single coloring pencil. It now almost 2 months and it is still there. When I call the 800 number for the post office all they can tell me is that they see it is delayed but when my local post office receives it they will delivered it. My buddy from USPS checked the system and found it was held up by CBP since 7/21/2020. 16 Days Later, 8/6/2020 spoke to "MAIL-LETTER-DOCUMENTS" division of the CUSTOM BORDER PATROL in Los Angeles (LAX). According to the kind CBP agent, Documents are never held up by CBP, only product parcels if at all. It says " HAS BEEN PROCESSED" not that it'll be processed or that it's being processed now. Past tense. Doesn't that mean that the scan is complete, custom inspection is complete and all other necessary things are complete as well? I had 2 packages going international to France and 1 incoming package coming from the UK. All stuck at this location for one week. No reason at all. Don't bother contacting USPS their automated system made it harder to speak to a rep and once you get the option it's an hour wait. My packages finally released after week and a half. They don't open it to inspect. I think it's x-rayed to see what is inside. Priority mail gets randomly chosen for custom inspection. I had 30 packages going international first class and none got stuck in this hell hole. You have no choice but to wait it out. If nothing suspicious then you have nothing to worry. Drugs, liquids, brand name, jewelry, electronics etc going priority with high dollar amounts will get high chance of custom investigation. Hope this helps anyone reading. Worst mucking place to work! Managers don't know what the fuck their doing..Leads play favorites.... there's a mismanagement of time. And don't think you can go complain to the union about issues with management or leads they are friends with each other and they don't give a shit about what you have to say.. I started Dec 12,2020 and they just layoff a bunch of people today on the 30th..it didn't even matter that I was on the 365 contract I was still laid off.. "Due to no mail" so instead of sending us to other facilities we got laid off. And before we got laid off we were told we had till February they also cut our hours to 16hours a week for the last pay check so everybody can struggle with $300 in their pocket for two weeks. I ordered a handmade face mask from Australia on April 22nd. The seller shipped it out on April 24th. When last I checked, it arrived at ISC Los Angeles on May 26th. Today is June 4th, and there's still no change in the shipping status. This also goes for a face mask from China with ventilation ordered around the same time in April. I purchased a shirt from Thailand on Etsy on June 21. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was in Los Angeles, "Processed Through Facility" at the ISC on June 25. But after a couple days of that status not changing, I started to wonder and yesterday, a quick Google search brought me here. Everything I read lead me to believe it would be another month before I actually received the shirt, which bummed me out (I bought it in hopes of wearing it to an event next week). Got my package through the sorting center and customs in three days! Especially impressive since June 3 & 4 are Saturday & Sunday! Based on past experience I should have my package (in Thousand Oaks, CA) by Tuesday. I will update my review if needed, although any delay now would be probably be due to another postal center. Please remember that this sorting center is not affiliated with customs, so delays due to that is not a reflection of the hard-working employees at the LAX ISC. The other reviews scared me but I guess most people only think of reviewing if it was an exceptionally good or terrible experience. I ordered 2-4 ems from japan, got my package on day 3. (I mean, for 83usd it better get to me on time.) Not a small package by any means, by the way, the box was 2900 grams. Then again it's not like normal people would've found my stuff worth stealing lol. I ordered a guitar from Thomann in Germany. The item shipped from Thomann on 12 MAY and arrived in the United States on 13 May. Since its arrival (to Los Angeles), it's been sitting in a large container. Finally, the package scanned for USPS delivery on 11 JUNE (that's one month that the item had been languishing in a container). God knows what happened to the package during that time. Ordered a pair of mouse feet. MOUSE FEET made from Teflon PTFE shipped from Hong Kong... And it's literally been stuck in this garbage place for over 38 days at this point. Came from Hong Kong Post to the ISC on June 3rd, 2019. Literally been sitting there ever since with zero changes despite updating the USPS Tracking number page every day... I'm absolutely livid that you can't contact them to see what is going on with your order once it's in there. My package from UK took only 2 days to get to this "ISC LOS ANGELES CA" facility. I was excited thinking I would get my package in a day or two. Then, for the next 6 days the status remained the same as "processing" through this facility. I was concerned so I did a search and seeing all these 1 star reviews which worried me. This morning (7th day since arrived to this facility) I checked the status again, and saw that my package actually made it out to my local post office. And within an hour the package was delivered to me. I think the problem with them is that they don't really update tracking status. Also meanwhile I considered myself lucky in comparison to what I read here , I still think 9 days is too damn slow. From UK to LA only 2 days, but from LA to LA takes another 7 days?
