I was just in town for the weekend for a friend's baby shower and I swear they have some great places to eat and drink in this area. Very cute little spot and most everything is as usual credit card base and touch screens. I was going to go to the counter but decided to go to the touch screen so I could browse through the menu. I hate when I'm at a new place and don't know what I want gives me anxiety...lol So I got the limited horchata milk tea 50% sweet and a small order of karaaga (spelled wrong I'm sure) chicken and when I tell you the chicken came out popping hot! Wow so good! Even at 50% the milk tea was not too sweet so I might could have went up to maybe 75% or they do have the option to use a sugar free substitute. So that's a great option only if it's stevia..lol. I can't stand Splenda just gross.. When I visit Katy I will definitely stop by again and try a few other items. Service was quick and friendly! But I know that's how us Texans get down!

I wouldn't get it again. -My friend got the banana matcha, and she said it was ok and could do better with the banana flavor and cream. -The self-checkouts can be difficult to get things scan properly. -There seems to be a lot of ads for new items, but it's not on the menu.

The service was quick and there were lots of workers around who were patient in taking our orders. Would definitely get this drink again in the future!

Wanting to give Wanpo the benefit of the doubt, I asked if it could be remade because it was a $8 drink. The worker, whose name I believe is Eric, SNIFFED my drink through the straw and said that it's Sugarcane and gave it back to me.....He then said he wouldn't remake it because it smells like it...Huh..? I walked out in shock because, what? Out of all the boba spots that I have been to, never has anyone smelled my drink. In fact, I used to work at a boba shop and never has it occurred to me to smell a drink and not remake it for a customer. Like, I don't know what methods you use to confirm ingredients but you couldn't even take the drink to the back to smell it? You did it in front of my face? I don't ever ask for drinks to be remade unless it tastes nothing like I ordered, I just go about and let it be but this genuinely appalled me. I go to Wanpo and I enjoy their Mango Sago drink but this experience has led me to never come back because... are you serious?

Today I went in and got the sea salt coffee, figured I'll give their drinks a try and plus they were having a deal. Bad decision. It was probably the blandest coffee I've had to date. I'm not even a huge coffee drinker so I'm not someone that's picky and particular with how their coffee is done. So for someone that doesn't care too much about coffee, dang it was a letdown. It had no salty flavor despite the name. Katy Asian Town is always busy, and it gets even more hectic on the weekends. There was a bunch of staff in the back and restocking all the breads around the store but only one person ringing up at the register. And I'm going to assume that one person was calling for technical support or something because he was on the phone while pressing buttons on the tablet. Or he could he be taking a phone order, who knows. The point is the other workers should have seen that he isn't ringing up anyone and the line is continously growing longer and longer. Management needs to work on having an adequate amount of staff or have rules implemented to help fill in other positions when needed.
