Tried this for Houston restaurant week. I got the red fish which was soft and had an orange chicken flavor glazed over the fish. I also tried some of their roasted poblano soup it tasted mostly like corn. The panna cotta was smooth and tasted like pineapple with vanilla bean. Service was a little slow. The ambiance reminded me of a vacation resort.

Ambience on the patio was lovely. I'm sure inside is nice as well. Hate a valet only option, but I took a chance and parked in the lot next door and noticed a few others did too. At your own risk, I guess. Food was overall average- went with seafood options which were well cooked but nothing to write home about. The grouper has too many sweet elements which I was concerned about when ordering- would have liked some savoury bite in there. Also was disappointed they didn't pack up my leftovers (got lost in communication I guess). The crab cake entree- to me the reads appetizer, which is what we did. But honestly one of the best crab cakes I've had. Sturdy breading but so much flavour and balanced well with the veg/salad it sits on. The 7 layer chocolate cake was perfectly balanced dessert as well. Not too sweet and loved the crispy/crunchy bits.

Came with my ladies for a Friday Night dinner. Note the restaurant is valet only and is $8 after 4PM. Before 4pm, it is complimentary. It is advised not to park in other lots due to risk of towing and signs are everywhere indicating the lots are intended for those patronizing those lots. Reservations are recommended. We had seating outside. The restaurant ambience is very nice and beautiful decorated. Have calming vibes. The outdoor was perfect for our evening. The restaurant really has that classic and chill vibe for our girls dinner. Our waitress was so nice and knowledgeable. She provided a lot of recommendations that we thoroughly enjoyed. Items are ordered: * Snapper Carpaccio * Seared Snapper * Grilled Mortadella * Tempura Soft Shell Crab * Wild Boar Ragu * ... and another dish i do not recall the name but was like ham or sliced bologna. * Chocolate cake * Blackberry cobbler We also had post dinner latte which was very generic. The food was good. The seared Snapper and grilled mortadella were my favorite dishes of the evening. The chocolate cake was rich. I world recommend this for a wonderful date night. Great food. Lovely ambience. Knowledgeable staff.

Pastry basket - Yes I believe the variety does change Pistachio pound cake 8/10, carrot cake donut 10/10, blueberry madeleine 10/10, regular croissant 8/10, chocolate croissant 8/10, jalapeño biscuit 10/10, mini blueberry muffin 10/10 and lavender scone 9/10. It's a carb load that is worth it. Rafter K Double Double - Smashburger - juicy, meaty and full of flavor 10/10. Thank you for putting the veggies on the side. Chips were nice and crispy. I would have liked to be offered to choose chips or fries. Truffled Barbacoa Benedict 8/10 - egg was poached to perfection - nice runny yolk. Barbacoa sweet potato hash - delicious wish there was more. Truffled hollandise sauce a little too much truffleness. Side salad was freshing but just felt like a lettuce garnish. Service was nice and friendly. Server answered all our questions. I felt the service was inconsistent after the entrees were served. Good for girls brunch/lunch, dates and family dining. Yes, 8 dollars for valet... annoying especially when it's just parked in the parking lot.

I hosted Galentine's here and I do not regret it one bit! Service - when I inquired about dining here, they reached out to me almost instantly to get more details. They were so accommodating of our group size and were willing to go the extra mile for our event. Special thanks to Amir for checking on us during dinner and taking care of us ! Food- all hits no misses. Let me list what was had - Starters - pizza pescatore and gulf shrimp spring rolls (delicious to share or not) Mains - cacio e pepe, wild boar Ragu, seared snapper, roasted beef fillet, batata brava, and the most delicious French fries I've ever had. The only complaint we had was trying to figure out what everything was on the menu because everything is descriptive. Drinks - from the cigar old fashioned and cherry sours to the classic cocktails, every drink was well crafted. I am so glad I found this gem of a restaurant and want to come back!

The first time we went with friends we shared a bunch and it was good! The second time we went it was pretty good. The third time we went... I don't know it just wasn't anything special. The Caesar salad was actually not good, I couldn't even finish it.... I've never not liked a Caesar salad either so I don't know if it was a bad batch but it was the worst I've had. The cobbler was great. The pasta is great. The pizza was very average. The bread service is always really good. It's a nice inside. They have a lot of seating inside and on the patio they have a cool bar area you can sit at the bar, they have a full bar. Valet for $8, there's not really parking. I would consider it upscale. The staff is super friendly and kind!

Latuli is a beautiful spot tucked off I-10 between Bingle and Blalock. Parking is valet only, so plan ahead for that. The restaurant itself is stunning with high ceilings and an elegant atmosphere. We visited for an early lunch on a Wednesday, which was quiet and spacious at first, though it did get noticeably louder as the crowd picked up. Service was top notch--friendly, professional, and attentive. We ordered a few items for our party of four. The bread service was outstanding; I'm usually not a fan of yeast rolls, but these were hands down the best I've ever had. The Cacio e Pepe was flavorful and perfectly peppery, just how I like it. The Pizza Pescatore was impressive, loaded with real crab lumps. It's pricey for a pizza, but the portions are generous--definitely shareable. We were celebrating a birthday, and when we mentioned it, the staff gave each of us a small glass of white wine to celebrate, which was such a thoughtful touch. They also included a candle in the chocolate mousse dessert, adding a nice celebratory detail. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. The food was excellent, service superb, and the decor gorgeous. That said, it's fairly expensive (around $50 per person for lunch), so don't come expecting a casual, quick meal. This is truly fine dining, and it delivers.

How does this spot not have a Michelin star!? It has all the makings! Romantic vibe, classic decor, what a sight for sore eyes. Was very exciting to watch the crowd it drew in that Saturday night, being the new kid on the block. Please don't skip the fried chicken and hummus--a combo I'd never imagine would work in my wildest dreams--by golly it's a winner, winner (pun intended). The house made hummus, creamy with a bit of sweetness that compliments the lightly battered fried chicken. Clean bathrooms, stiff cocktails, smiling faces....what more could I girl ask for?! Congrats Latuli, you've made quite the impression. I hope you get your star sooner rather than later!

Very glamorous addition to the Houston dining scene. Beautiful decor, efficient staff and a good, if limited, menu that doesn't change. I wish there were lighter entrees at dinner but this is Texas after all.

100% honest review here. I'm going to start out with saying that this restaurant is BEAUTIFUL. No doubt, breathtaking. This place exudes southern glam! While this restaurant has some next level ambiance, the food is overpriced and underwhelming. Hear me out.. I've been here twice. Once by choice. (Inside joke) The double dip was just not good. Pimento cheese and the redfish dip tasted like someone just threw it together in at home last minutes and sent it out. Super underwhelming for the price. Also the bread service. $30 for some cornbread with yeast rolls. Everything including the jam and the butter were super confusing and underwhelming. Our waiter hyped everything up but good job selling us on it. I tried the Grouper the first time and the soft shell crab the second time. Grouper was not flavorful and somewhat bland. The soft shell crab was so small for what you pay for. $38 for a super small soft shell crab fried on top of string carrots and another veggie. Flavor was good based on the zesty sauce that was on the dish. It definitely saved it. Unfortunately every dish I tried wasn't the greatest. Super nice staff and (again) beautiful place.

#900 review Amazing experience for an impromptu lunch date. Valet only parking as we entered and a mention we had a hour for lunch was met with 1st class service . Our orders for shareable chicken and hummus and cacio e pepe pasta dish were taken quickly. Our food was absolutely delicious. The chicken was lightly fried and moist.Pefectly cooked and set on top of housemade hummus. Served with triangles of pita to dip was the perfect blend of flavors! The pasta dish was as good or better than we tasted in Italy this summer !! Recommendation to sit in tables in 21+ bar area was perfect to be able to talk since restaurant area was a bit louder. Natalie( asst.GM) came by to see how was our meal and gave us some background on how Latouli started the journey 6 months ago. As a new restaurant in Memorial area, this upscale but comfy styled restaurant with Western art was a lovely place to dine for lunch. Alfredo Paredas, the interior designer for Latouli had designed for Ralph Lauren for 30+ years. You could tell in the details accentuated throughout the rooms. Already planning a future dinner for a birthday celebration.

An unexpected delight for this upscale lunch spot . As you enter their complimentary valet only parking area you can tell service is going to be spectacular. We sat in the bar area so that we could enjoy a more private area that was easier to hear each other. Their menu offered some delicious shareable that were recommended from friends that had dinner here recently. We shared some chicken and hummus shareable with succulent slightly fried chicken that was a pleasant surprise. The hummus would give any high end Mediterranean restaurant a run for their money. We also shared a cacio.e pepe dish and the sauce was accompanied with small slices of house made pita bread. The restaurant was thoughtfully decorated with Texan styled ranch decor styled by a former stylist who worked 30 years for Ralph Lauren. We plan on returning for a special birthday dinner celebration next week.

Great spot, especially for a special occasion! The menu has a few staples that stay the same, but it changes so keep an eye out! We came here tonight for the second time to celebrate a birthday, and they treated us very well. From a birthday cheers to a purse table next to the chairs, there was a lot of thoughtfulness and care from the restaurant. The food was fantastic, and the environment was even better. The dining room was a little loud, but everything else made up for it. Be sure to try the ahi tuna, and chicken and dumplings if you can catch it on the menu!

I also got the "The Oysterette" old fashioned, which is literally just a regular old fashioned but decorated by a twist and a blueberry to mimic an oyster, definitely dissapointing. Inside it's a nice restaurant with an upscale feel to it. I ordered a house salad for $9 to start and the Pasta Rosa entree for another $28. The salad arrived first with a generous amount of romaine lettuce with diced tomatoes, cucumber, shredded carrots and chopped eggs on top. With my chosen ranch dressing it was a good tasting salad. The Pasta Rosa dish had sliced Parmesan strips on top of penne with shrimp, crawfish and sausage for the protein with mushrooms and a tomato cream sauce. This meal initially tricked me. My first impression was that while there was plenty of protein the taste of the tomato cream sauce was lacking some flavor. I expected more. However as I kept eating and getting beyond the top layer of the food the flavor increased significantly. I think that the proteins caused the sauce in the lower half of the dish to create more punch. This dish got better and better and I changed my mind. It turned out to be a very good tasting and filling meal. Finally the table service was very good too. P.S. I also tried part of another appetizer which was the bar b q shrimp for $16. There are several types of seating available. They have a large patio - one section covered, one section open. They also have bar seating inside, regular chairs/table seating, and chair with a half booth seating. We were welcome by many of the staff immediately when we entered. Very welcoming. They have sweet tea! I love sweet tea. :) My Friend had a Bloody Mary. They had a $5 special for drinks. We split the Buffalo shrimp and the Gulf Wedge salad. The Buffalo shrimp (8 to an order) came with celery and ranch for dipping. They were just like I remembered years ago from the Richmond location. I'm not usually a Buffalo sauce type person, but their shrimp with their sauce is the bomb! The shrimp are large, so the entree is great for splitting. The Gulf Wedge has crab meat, bacon, grape tomatoes, and a hardboiled egg. It also comes with red onion and blue cheese crumbs, but I do not like either of those, so I had those removed from my half. I also prefer ranch dressing instead of blue cheese dressing. The salad was a great addition to our shrimp. Very tasty and filling. Nick was happy to make the substitutions for me. Many restaurants have an issue with splitting dishes. I was happy RC, via Nick, did this for us. For these reasons, Nick made out with a 25% tip. We got a lobster tail, 2 blue crabs, 1 snow crab cluster, 1/2 lb. boiled shrimp, corn, 2 potatoes, and lemon garlic butter sauce for dipping all for $40. There was plenty of food to split between two people and everything came out great. I'm sure I'll be back to try out the menu staples, but that Friday special was a nice surprise! Service was very on top of our table. Our waiter came by constantly to make sure we have what we needed, helped with questions, and never let a water glass or a beer get too low. You place your order, they hand you a number and your drink glasses, and you grab your flatware over by the drink station. They have these cute little trays to carry your cups, napkins, and utensils so you are not awkwardly trying to juggle everything back to the table. After you sit down, they bring your food right out to you, so no waiting around the counter. The deviled eggs were delicious, honestly some of the best I have ever had at a restaurant. They come topped with a tiny piece of crispy bacon. They do offer fried deviled eggs, but I am more traditional, so that is what I went with. You can get an order of 3 or 6. We went with 3, and the second I tasted them, I wished we had gotten 6. For my main, I got the fried catfish and asked for it extra crispy. It came out piping hot, served with homemade tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, and two sides. They use a cornmeal batter just like my mom used to make, and I absolutely loved it. The tartar sauce was great, too. I would honestly go back just for the fish. For sides, I picked the greens and French fries. The greens tasted just like real greens should. That took me straight back to my mom's cooking, and my mom could seriously throw down in the kitchen. The fries tasted fresh and homemade, definitely not out of a frozen bag. I am usually not one to clean my plate and almost always have leftovers, but the portions here were perfect. I ate all my catfish and about half the fries and greens. My friend got the chicken pot pie and said it was good. I took a bite, and while it was not bad, it was nowhere near as good as my catfish. For his sides, the mac and cheese was good, but the green beans really did not have much flavor at all. Overall, it was a great meal. I can't wait to go back and try a few other things on the menu.

The aesthetic and ambience draws you in to experience a soco gastronomical experience, but what you get is an embellished Cracker Barrel or Luby's quality dish! YIKES. It's not very clear once you walk in that you walk to the register to order your food. Someone does bring it out to you. Self serve on cutlery, napkins, and drinks tho! I asked the girl at the register if she had any recommendations and I know they specialize in Southern Comfort food but I was too chicken to try anything!!! No pun intended, but I did order the chicken tenders and fries. We will get to that! She was friendly and made some great suggestions, which I appreciated. I was slightly surprised by the price point for the food, but then when we actually started eating, I was no longer surprised. Here's what we ordered: - Fried deviled eggs with bacon - chicken pot pie with a side of beans and rice and broccoli - chicken tenders and fries And the SAD complimentary bread. I mean SAD. No wonder it's free. The only two things I'd recommend are the red beans and rice and the deviled eggs. DO NOT get the chicken tenders and fries. The fries were drenched in grease and old oil, soggy and something you'd get at Five Guys or Wings and More. Dark, greasy and disgusting. The tenders were nothing special. My hubs found cartilage and bones in his chicken pot pie and the crust was super thick and bready!! Came out in a "scalloped potato" or "bread pudding" style dish rather than a traditional circular dish. It was around 5pm when we got there and the restaurant was practically empty on a Wednesday night! That was red flag number One! Their coke fountain drink was pure syrup and water and no one checked or maintained the machine so the carbonation had run out! Had to ask that to be switched. Red flag number two. It took us forever to get our food and while I saw servers walking around, no one was really checking to see how our food was or how we were doing. All in all, pretty disappointing and won't be returning. But we did give it a good faith effort and try some place new. sadly, it just wasn't a hit.
