Cute little spot! Was pleasantly surprised by how much seating there was in the cafe. Not a ton of options on their patio, and there aren't umbrellas so it got pretty hot out there. I got a chai latte and a breakfast bagel. Both were really good but did take 5-7 min to get, which felt kind of long for having only one other person in the cafe. Absolutely fantastic. I should have taken a picture of my breakfast sandwich, but I devoured it. Everything is super fresh. The space is very clean and relaxing. A perfect spot to get some work done, have a game, or unwind and read. Of course, delicious coffee with great choices. Unfortunately, I'm not close by. Otherwise, I know I'd be here daily. Maybe I went in on an off day. I was really excited to try these awesome homemade scones everyone raved about. They look downright delicious in the case. I got a maple-pecan or something like that. It was really really dry (like...bad biscuit dough that someone forgot to add milk to) and the body of the scone was not sweetened at all. It was topped with a really thick sugary glaze, as if to compensate for the total lack of flavor and sugar in the scone. I mean, they seem like nice enough people. The coffee was ok. It's Collectivo so you know it's gonna taste pretty good unless you burn it. It seemed popular with the older crowd, with quite a few 'regulars' coming in and being chatty. I would perhaps give them a second chance if I went back with a local who was more familiar with the menu. read more

Love this coffee shop! Heidi and Jeff are genuine, AMAZING people. They apply this attitude to their drinks and food. Jeff bakes most of the treats fresh himself EVERY NIGHT! And they are phenomenal! How could you not want to support this local treasure? Infinitely better customer service than STARBUCKS... don't waste your time with the mainstream BS. Not super impressed. Used to go to this coffee shop for years. I still would frequent every time I when I was in the area. Last time I went owners had changed. It is not the same little coffee shop around the corner. They used to offer free refills on plain coffee- just to warm up your cup (this has been removed) Food they serve is ok - never have enough yogurt even when requested. Staff/ owner seems stand offish - almost rude. I will not go back and spend my money here as I like to feel welcomed. This place has a thing or two to learn about long term customers, loyalty, and attitude. read more

Let me get this out of the way first, I am what some would call a bit thrifty. It pains me most of the time to spend more than 99cents on a cup of coffee. However the coffee here is actually excellent. I drink quite a bit of it throughout the day and by this point most of it all just tastes the same. Not this place, the coffee here always tastes like its freshly ground. In this rare case I am willing to spend a little extra on a quality product. Then the next day I came back and had the iced americano (better than Starbucks Americanos) and a bagel. Again, they were delicious. I was traveling north to Appleton and wanted a coffee, so I pulled off the freeway hoping to find a coffee shop close by. When I drove past, I thought it was the cutest place and figured I would check it out since I love local coffee shops! It was a pleasant little place with amazing coffee and cute decor! Cozy atmosphere and delicious coffee. Lots of fun flavored syrups to try, like roasted marshmallow (great in a mocha!), blackberry and english toffee. All the coffee is either from Alterra or a roastery in Chicago - i.e. local! Great location for a Mequon west sider like me, and I love that it's not a chain. We need more places like this around!
