I would be careful walking alone or with family here at night. Once you're inside, the vibe is totally different. The staff is friendly, upbeat music, and real New York energy. There are plenty of pool tables throughout the place and rentals are about $12 an hour. Just remember to return the balls to the front cashier when you're done. They sell snacks and drinks at the counter and restrooms in the back. There are extra games here like: a punching bag, basketball game, and dart boards. The punching machine sometimes needs to be reset before it works. Not exactly family-friendly, but a solid hangout spot for high schoolers and college kids.

The bathrooms are always kind of sticky and running out of soap. I love a clean bathroom, so I hope they can spruce that up. The food is standard bar menu (wings, sliders, mozzarella sticks, etc.). The side tables could be cleaned more often. The only thing I strongly dislike is this boxing game. We were at table 20 last night to play pool, and the awful, jarring sound of the punching bag being rocked into the machine spoiled the ambiance a bit. Will definitely return.

This is definitely the BEST bar in the neighborhood!! Staff is warm and inviting and the other patrons are always super friendly! What I love most about this place is they always make we feel welcomed - kind of like I'm "part of the family." My husband and I frequent Last Call fairly regularly both together and on our own and always seem to have a great time. Bar doesn't serve food, but the bartenders have a great stash of takeout menus behind the bar and are totally cool if you want order in. If you are in Kew Gardens, it's definitely a place to stop. read more
