I went to Sophia to get lash extensions that looks natural, the look I was going for was like I have mascara on. Doesn't require long, thick, curly lashes. She listened to me and was on point! I finally got someone to do classic and natural lashes!! I already went for a fill, and it is consistent. Give her a try! read more

I have been coming to sophi for a few years now , she is very nice and does a great job . Very professional .

If you're looking for the best lash artist, look no further than Sophia! With over 15 years of experience, Sophia is an absolute expert in her craft. She is located in a private studio in Irvine, which is so aesthetic and has the perfect ambience. She is incredibly knowledgeable and patient, always taking the time to ensure that every lash is perfectly placed. Her attention to detail is unmatched, and she's truly a perfectionist when it comes to creating the most beautiful, natural-looking lashes. Sophia doesn't just apply lashes; she works with you to make your lash dreams come true. Whether you're going for a subtle enhancement or dramatic volume, she knows exactly what to do. I wanted a curly, dramatic look and that's exactly what I got. The lashes are so comfortable and last very long while still keeping the integrity of my lashes. Even after multiple appointments, my natural lashes are still intact and are still strong and healthy unlike other experiences I've had with other lash artists. I highly recommend Sophia for anyone looking to elevate their lash game! read more

I love my lashes by Sophia! She is very professional, accommodating, knows what looks good on you and how to make any necessary changes in the moment. I totally trust her work and the lashes she uses are the most natural looking. She makes it so easy to set up appointments and always makes it so comfortable to get your lashes done. I'm always getting compliments about my lashes and I won't go to anyone else. read more

I've been coming to get my eyelash extensions done with Sophia for over a year now. She is so professional and clean! She is very knowledgeable on her craft and WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU! There's been countless of times I've fallen asleep on her very comfortable reclining chair. If you are in the chatty side, she is really engaging and great to talk with while she's placing lashes on you! She will get the job done on time! She is super understanding and flexible and is a true professional, I do not trust anyone doing my lashes but Sophia! Once you get your lashes done by her, you will never go back! read more

I've been here three times to get the lash lift since I'm not a fan of having false lashes (they do look good though!). Fast, good pricing, easy scheduling, doesn't put pressure on my actual eyeballs, good background music, easy parking...not sure what else there is to ask for in life. Lashes look like I curled them for 4-6weeks, esp good for summer swim seshes so I don't look like too much of a tired 12 year old boy after getting my face wet. read more

I randomly met Sophia through a friend (and later on coincidently I found out she worked with my roommate, small world!), and at the time my regular eyelash girl was on maternity leave. The first time I met her she met me at my house after work and gave me options of how I wanted my eyelashes. My usual girl uses the thin lashes, which looks very natural but takes a little over two hours to do and isn't as dramatic. I wanted something different so I explained that to her. She is very gentle and does your lashes exactly the way you want them, and always asks what you want before she starts. She is such a sweetheart and is so accommodating to your schedule. And her prices are completely reasonable. Along with that, she is cute, spunky and so easy to talk to! That is very important if she is going to be working on you for an hour, you don't want awkward dead silence! That was almost two years ago. Last year I was pregnant and couldn't lie on my back for too long, and each time she came over she made sure that I was always comfortable and tried her best not to take TOO long, knowing that I would get squirmy after 30 minutes. Plus, as we found out we had similar interests (she has a daughter and I now have a son) and similar friends, so it was not hard to feel comfortable with her. Currently I have been really busy with my son and working full time so I had not been able to see her in a month and I desperately needed a fill. Even though the holidays are her busiest time, she was able to fit me in this week before New Years! I feel pretty again!! Thank you Sophia!!!! read more

Found her on Yelp! My first full set ever so I had no idea what I wanted...just something natural but would look good in my upcoming maternity photo shoot. Sophia was very knowledgable with educating me regarding what the difference in curls, lashes, and lengths, and I went with her recommendation of Mink lashes, C-curl, lengths 10-11, slightly longer in middle and ends. Love it! Very comfy seat in a hair salon. Took about 1 hr 20 min. Plus she's super nice with a very sweet, relaxing voice that didnt boom in my ears while working on my lashes. read more

Sophia is the best of the best! She always does such a great job even if I come in with one sad lash left. Her appointments seem so quick but her quality of work seems like she slaves away for hours. 3 fake glued on 1 natural. Natural Lashes will start to damage or get ripped off by 2nd or 3rd fill. I was initially happy the first couple fils but I noticed that she clumps all lashes on one to save time and money. In the end u will have no lashes to glue on read more

I just got back from another eyelash fill from Sophia. Once again, she did a fantastic job! And yes, her prices are extremely reasonable. What's even better is that if you have a smart phone, get the Yelp app and you can even get a discount for checking in! The last time I got my eyelashes done with Sophia, they lasted me over two months. Of course, I was careful with them, but I was still amazed that they even lasted that long! If you're looking for high quality lashes, but you can't afford the ridiculous prices of other eyelash places in Orange County, go to Sophia! She's just as great, if not better! read more

I moved to Orange County from the Bay Area, and was looking for a lash expert nearby. I found Sophia through Yelp, and am now a repeat customer. Now, I have been to incredibly swanky spas to get lashes done, and if that's the experience you are looking for, this is not for you. Sophia works out of her home, which I actually prefer - it just feels less pretentious and more comfortable. One thing I noticed is she works very efficiently, but still produces good results. Her prices are some of the most reasonable out there in my opinion. I'm always getting compliments about my lashes, and people can't tell they're extensions. I'm glad I found her and would recommend her to a friend! read more

I've been coming to Sophia for just about a year now and almost regularly for lash extensions. Always happy when I walk out. She actually asks what style and volume you like, so you get the look you hoped for. Other places I've gone, just packed them on my eyes making them look way over done and fake, but she just has that magic touch on my lashes. Also, her rates are very reasonable for the work she does. My lashes usually last me about 2-3 weeks, depending on how much I rub my eyes (allergies). I always recommend her to everyone when they ask about my lashes! read more

This was my first time getting eyelash extensions and it was a great experience. Sophia is the sweetest woman you'll ever meet and make you completely comfortable. Lashes and Brows By Sophia - this is after 3-4 weeks of wear too :) - Eyelash Service Near Me - Irvine, California

I have been going to Sophia for more than 5 years. She is the best. I get compliments all the time. The lashes last too. My friends are so surprised how great they look even after a couple weeks. I have heard how other people who go elsewhere and have issues with irritation or lashes falling off after a week. I'm not sure if they don't take care of their lashes or what but I don't have those issues. read more

I never write reviews, but I need to share my experience. Sophia is the best lash artists I have ever had, her eyelashes are consistently beautiful and full. She has been in the game for over 10 years and her experience truly shows. I have been though more than a dozen lash artists and her work is still UNBEATABLE. I am a picky perfectionist and her work is extremely satisfying to me. Artists like her are very hard to find, comes out perfect every time. Unlike other artists, she really listens to what you want and achieves it. I can't get classic/ volume lashes anywhere else. Her lashes are worth the price, you really pay for what you get. ***She is very knowledgeable about eyelash health, my natural eyelashes rarely fall out when she does my extensions. Every other artist I've experienced have ripped out my lashes because they did not understand how much my natural eyelashes can handle. When Sophia saw that I barely had any lashes she introduced me to her EYELASH SERUM, you guys NEED to get this!!! I had no eyelashes and after using her product for 2 months, my eyelashes have never been so long and full. If you want to rehabilitate your lashes or you just aren't happy with them you need to get the $10 serum!!! It's so worth it, I bought it for my mom and I apply it on my eyebrows too.. it actually works. I used Latisse in the past and it didn't work as fast as her serum, it's so cheap and worth it. It's like a miracle serum!!! When I was taking a break from extensions to rehabilitate my lashes I got an eyelash perm from her. I absolutely loved it. The curl is so beautiful and natural and it curls better and more dramatic than any eyelash curler I have ever had. It made my lashes look longer and fuller than it ever has. Her work never seizes to amaze me. After discovering her, I can't go anywhere else. If you are looking for consistently beautiful work and an artist that truly cares and is compassionate for her customers (one that is not just doing it for the money) then Sophia is the one for you. read more

Sophia has been doing my lashes for several years. She is professional and does a excellent job. I tried some of the franchise shops and was disappointed in them. I had been wanting lash lifts for the longest time because although I have long and rich lashes, they're stick straight to a point where after curling my lashes AND wearing mascara, my lashes will initially look great, but then they look straight again after being weighed down. Sophia was recommended to me by a friend who gets her lash extensions done by her. She told me that Sophia does lash lifts as well, so I decided to make an appointment with her, and am so glad I did!!! My lashes looked SO GOOD for 3 months. Definitely worth every penny for it!! read more

Lashes and Brows By Sophia - Exactly what I'm looking for, natural look - Eyelash Service Near Me - Irvine, California

It was my first time getting lash extensions and I did a lot of research. I decided to go with Sophia's lash extensions because of some great reviews I read on Yelp. I went there and told Sophia that I wanted something very natural and light. I specifically said I did not want lashes that looked fake. After a little while I started feeling my lashes become pretty heavy and I started to question her about it being natural and light. She confirmed that it was. So 30 minutes in and we were all done... Except that she gave me exactly what I did NOT ask for. They were so thick and looked really really fake!! She tried to say that it looked natural, obviously not because I pulled up a photo of her own work and she said "oh!". WTF? So I told her I didn't like it and to remove it. The removal process was so painful because she used soooooooooo much glue that everything ended up clumping together and glue even got on my eyelid skin. To remove, she used a bunch of this solution that kept burning my eyes. After 40 min of burning pulling, more burning and more pulling the lashes finally came off. I just wanted to get home at this point and told her I'd call her for another appointment. Now that I'm home and washed out my eyes, there are chunks of glue left on my lids!!!! It hurts so much when I touch or rub my eyes because the chunks of glue are dried. I would not recommend her to a first timer and would definitely not go back myself. VERY disappointed!!!! In addition, she is suppose to be the "professional" and should know what to pick out for me as far as thickness of the lash. Let me remind you that it was my FIRST time, how would I know what size would look most natural. The fact that she picked out something that was FAR FAR from what I requested shows me that she doesn't know what she is doing. She was still very nice and apologetic during the removal but BEWARE!!!!! read more

After reading Sophia's great reviews, I decided to give her a try for my first ever lash extension. When she had finished I was shocked to see the unnatural look of the lashes. There didn't seem to be the natural curve of the line. Also, they poked at me and irritated my eye. She quickly soothed my concerns saying that the lashes will soften up by tomorrow morning. Having never gotten them done, remembering her raving reviews and not wanting to be ungrateful, I trusted her. So I tipped her and left. When I got back into my car I instantly pulled out my mirror and inspected her work. I didn't know if I was being a perfectionist but it seemed like there were several lashes on several extensions. I thought it was supposed to be one per? I also noticed that there was a curve in the line of the lashes that was unnatural. At this point I was feeling uneasy about the quality of work so I called her back and mentioned the unflattering spacing. Since I was still in the parking lot I suggested coming back in so she could see what I was referring to. She immediately said that was not necessary because people's eyelash lines differ and it's normal to see inconsistencies (paraphrasing here). Wow, so that was the extent of her customer service, not to even take a couple minutes immediately following the session? I woke up the next filled with anticipation to see my softer lovely lashes and no such luck. They looked the exact same! Not only that, under the light of my bathroom mirror I could see that my eyelash line was perfectly aligned and the issue was that she had situated a whole cluster of eyelashes just a little bit higher than the others. So the unevenness was fabricated by her work. Also, as my eyelashes fell, I could see that each contained several of the lash extensions and several of my own personal eyelashes. Within a month, I had lost almost all the extensions and they had taken my lashes with them! I thought this was NOT supposed to do that! Now I needed to get my lashes done but no way was I ever going back to Sophia. So I tried someone else and boy am I glad I found her! She took one look at my lashes and felt instant pity. She said the lashes should definitely be only on one of my lashes. she explained that if two of my natural lashes are glued together or are glued together via a shared lash extension, then it does not allow the individual lash to grow at its own rate. This creates constant irritation and the loss of your natural lashes as younger lashes get pulled out by the older lashes that are ready to shed naturally. She took the time to remove the previous lashes and started fresh. When I woke up at the end of the session, I immediately knew what she meant. I hardly felt my lashes at all and they definitely were not pinching. pulling or poking me. What a relief, I can enjoy eyelash extensions after all! :-) read more

Wow great deal and so convenient... Sophia comes to your home with all her gear and lashes. You just lie on a sofa or bed with good lighting and Sophia decks out your lashes. She is super nice and gentle. It takes about 1 hour to get a full set of lashes. She is very accomodating... and teaches you how to take care of your lashes. 4-6 weeks before they completely fall out, but she advises you get touched up at 2-3 weeks before too many fall out, after which you may need a whole new set. I paid $80 for my full set and she'll touch me up for $45. I highly recommend her! read more

Terrible, fake, plastic lashes. Sophia isn't professional. The whole experience was bad. I have been a fan of lash extensions for @ 7 years. When I relocated to Orange County I found Sophia online. Made an appointment and when I arrived she didn't have me down for that day. She acted irritated and I ALMOST turned around and walked out but was going on vacation and wanted the lashes for the trip. Oh man am I sorry I didn't follow my instincts. They were heavy fake plastic lashes that fell off quickly. I actually called Sophia and asked for a refund and she promised to send me $60.00 back, which surprise, never showed up. She is super unprofessional and does not know what she is doing. Don't go. read more

It's hard to believe I've been going to Sophia for a year and a half now! And she's just as great!!! Since November of 2010 I've had eyelash extensions on (aside from a month or so around december 2011)...i still LOVE them. I've recently seen some bad press about eyelash extensions. I have to think it must be who you get them done by. I mean, you def loose some natural lashes with extensions, but they make it sound like eventually you'll have NO eyelashes...which just simply isn't the case if you have them done well. Sophia can and WILL do them well. I've had lashes done by several different salons in Orange County, and Sophia's are always the best. They are the most natural looking, the most comfortable on your eyes, and last the longest...plus she has the most reasonable prices! Not to mention, she works much faster than the other places I've used. It's ALL good! For those of you who are having communication problems with her, let me just say she's only one person, and she's REALLY busy because everyone loves her work. What I do is text her and ask when she has an availability. She typically responds within the next day or two with a couple of dates and times that she has available (she knows I usually like to run over on my lunch our, so the dates and times coincide with that)...and we work it out. Bottom line, if you're considering eyelash extensions, Sophia will take care of you. If you're looking for someone to fill your extensions, Sophia will take care of you. If you're new to the area and looking for a new person to do your extensions, Sophia will take care of you. Sophia is AWESOME! read more

Sophia is wonderful! I got my first fill today after a month since the initial lash extensions. I love her work. Today, she even did a new set on my friend. My friend opted for thicker, darker lashes. Sophia is honest and tells you exactly what to expect. No surprises. The poor reviews below are from the kind of people who have poor reviews for a variety of places. Sophia does a great job, very detail oriented, takes her time, and is friendly all the way through. Don't let one bitter person discourage you! You can't go wrong with Sophia! I LOVE my lashes!!! And yes, I can still see my real ones! haha. =0) Just do it! Well worth it! read more

Ok ...So I too did alot of research on eyelash extentions especially since I was getting them not only for myself, but also was purchasing them for my friend Tracy who has sensitive skin and was getting married on Sat...so after searching and researching I kept coming to this Sophia website...after reading the reviews not only on yelp, on her webpage as well, I felt reassured especially after reading Alice's comment...LMAO is all i can say to Alice's review because not only did my eyelashes come out Exceptionally WONDERFUL,....Tracy's did as well we both are definetaly adding eyelashs ext. touch up's to our to do list right next to our mani pedi's, and getting our hair done!!! the very next day the both of us were stopped and complimented on our eyes and many of the women asked us what mascara we used...LOL... when we responded we were not using any mascara to them...they all thought we were liing we told them, they are eyelash ext. they were seriously at AWE by how they couldnt even tell they were fake and how natural they looked ... and they ALL wanted her name and number which we proudly gave her info to them.... our eyes look absolutly PERFECT she did exactlly what we asked for and we even showed pictures of what we liked and wanted...she is AWESOME, and yes I truely believe that she lives up to what she does because I and Tracy are living proof of it, thank you Sophia for making Tracy and I look beautiful for her wedding day and for life...as well as feel comfortable and giving us the best customer service you could possibly give YOU ROCK CAUSE YOU ARE TRUELY BLESSED AT WHAT YOU DO!!! and get ready to see us for a long long long time : )........thanks a million Sherrie and Tracy!!!!!! To anyone looking for a PERFECT set of eyelash ext I would most definitely say look no further!!!! she is what she states.... to Alice im sorry you had a terrible experience however I cannot possibly believe that you felt they looked unnatural and thought you had heavy eyelashes, because I am the pickiest of all people.... the only thing I can think of is you must be in the same line of business and are jealous of what she provides to her clients... thanks Sherrie read more
