I cannot remember the name of my eyebrow tech but she was there on a Tuesday evening 6/11 and she cleaned me brows without overdoing it (my eyebrows weren't that bad so I was worried they would be too thin). Efficient and seemingly thorough. I've got my eyebrows threaded regularly for over a year. My last visit I had to wait longer than usual, which I didn't mind, as there was one person working only. However, she seemed to rush me and was brisk with the eyebrow threading. I was still satisfied with my brows, but they have been done better, with less redding and inflammation after the process. Needless to say, I paid with credit card and chose to leave no tip this time. Well, when i review my card statement, I see that a $3 tip was added, which I did not authorize. Looking into this, this is an act of fraud. It's a few dollars, but in principle a business violating your card offer is not okay. Yes it is a tip driven industry but since when tips are REQUIRED? I have not left a tip before at this place, and my card was not charged differently. 9 times out of 10 (well now out of 11) I have left a tip. Goodness. I do not recommend coming here. I didn't catch the worker's name, but she had an attitude and rushed even though no one else was there. She also fucked up my brows which I've been working to grow out for months lol She completely removed the front of my left eyebrow so now my brows start at different points (ex: the right eyebrow starts at the corner of my eye and the left eyebrow starts near the pupil...) and one brow is significantly lower than the other so I'll have to fill them in every day until they grow back out. It's so bad it's actually kind of funny lol She also made both brows way too thin and I have pretty thick eyebrows to start with so she took off a lot. I wouldn't risk coming here in case you get this person. :/ Also I didn't bother complaining considering the hair is already gone lmao Update: I was wondering why the session was so painful and why my brows were still so red after several hours. I've gotten my brows threaded for years and have tried a multitude of places and this is the first time I've ever felt this much pain. Well, the scars showed up the morning after. Turns out she cut me in 3 areas lol Also she somehow missed a ton of stray hairs. Straight up butchered, I've been growing my brows out for almost two years and the woman who threaded my brows today left me with 90's lines. Not only did she totally wreck my brows but she didn't even clean up the bald spots I now have, there are still strays... and when she was done she just left the tissue on my chest and walked away for me to clean my face up myself... wtf? I was looking for a place that accepts walk-ins for a quick service. I found this on Yelp and decided to check it out. Khalida did a great job on my overgrown brows. I used to love this place, but Monday night I had the worst experience. My eyebrows came out completely butchered and the woman who did it kept gaslighting me and telling me all she did was clean them up and they looked like that when I came in. She completely slashed one of my eyebrows and didn't clean up in between the brows. She didn't know how to shape them either. I have all these holiday parties to attend and I have to wear brow makeup till they grow out. I am never coming here again. Amazing. I have gone here to get my eyebrows threaded for the FIRST time ever. I was definitely a little scared because personally.. my eyebrows take a bit to grow back its hair and so ofc I'd be scared of just it being butchered.... HOWEVER... ETKA WAS SOOOO LOVELY. she is so kind, made me feel welcome, very attentive to me, and that fear of my eyebrows being botched... WAS GONE. I told her I wanted a more softer look with eyebrows and to clean it up a bit because hairs were scattered all over. She even told me that one eyebrow had more hair than the other so it may not turn out what I'd expect it to. That made me a bit more scared but guys... she took that and just *mwah* FIXED IT. Mow both my brows look balanced and the same, the process didnt hurt at all. I will say this however about the "pain". To me, it didnt hurt. And what can account for that is 2 things. Either I have a higher pain tolerance to most things. And/or i have learned that i exaggerate the pain in my head (i.e. when i got my tattoos) and so it FELT like it hurt when in reality it actually didnt. Threading, first of all, is not painful like tattoos. Yes it's on the face where the skin is a but tighter so yes you will feel it slightly pulling and plucking off but the process is a fast process that honestly, it doesnt hurt. Its DEFINITELY an interesting feeling but doesn't hurt. When my eyebrows decide to stop hibernating and grow back its hair and make me a mess again IM DEFINITELY COMING BACK HERE. DO NOT TRUST THE 4 STAR RATING! I've been to many different eyebrow threading places and this is by far the worst place i've been too. She made my eyebrows so uneven and rushed. I told her just to clean up my brows and she made one eyebrow a lot thicker than the other. I came in with nice thick eyebrows and one of them just turned so thin. Additionally she cut my eyelid 3 times. The lady acted drunk too and couldn't see well. Didn't get her name but it looked like she had a obvious nose job. PLEASE FIRE HER so many of these reviews are based on the same lady. Never coming here again after my first time going. She kept saying she could fix it but nope I didn't trust her so I had to fix it myself at home. Literally was balling my eyes out and I felt like they wanted my eyebrows to look bad thats how bad they were, like the lady was envy of me or something.
