Been following her for years, and she has consistently been thorough and effective. My mom has purchased a membership for the collagen facial treatment and I got to use one of them. I kid you not, my Oura ring told me I was taking a nap! A facial that is thorough through extractions and treatment and massage...and yes, a nap was tracked! The vibe of this small shop is simple. The place is so quiet though, as soon as you're in the room, you're asked to put on the little towel wrap around, remove your bra straps (for the neck and shoulder massage), and you are good to go. Can't wait to come back! You should try to get a facial every 2-3 weeks or once a month. Love Annie!!

I just had the most bs facial ever by this woman. Found her on Groupon. All of her products were…read moredrugstore brands (Neutrogena, Target, Garnier), and she even used a SHEET MASK on my face. She told me it was from Paris. Judging by the array of other cheap skincare on her shelf, I would say not. Those are products that I use in my bathroom weekly. -1 point in professionalism. After cleansing my face, she did a microdermabrasion treatment. I have no point of reference for this, because I have never had one before and specifically was looking for a facial that did not include one, but it was very quick (maybe 5 minutes for my whole face) and did not feel thorough. In between each product, she placed a nice steam towel around my face, and then used it to RUB the product around and off my face, causing irritation. -1 point for technique. This is not what I expect from a facial. It was not relaxing, my skin does not feel fresh, plump, or rejuvenated. By the end of the day, my skin does feel smoother, but I do not think it excuses the lack of professionalism during this service. And I am not convinced that I couldn't have achieved these results on my own with a home dermabrasion tool and my usual products. -1 more point for overall experience. To the customer who complained of cigarette smell, I smelled it as well. Personally it did not bother me, but that is quite unprofessional for someone who is going to be close to your face with her face and hands for an hour.

This review and rating is solely for their eyelash extension service, in hindsight I should have…read moreknown not to go to a spa and to a place that specializes in eyelashes but my eyelash chic cancelled on me the day before I was supposed to leave on a trip. I've been getting eyelash extensions for months and my eyelashes have always remained intact and healthy once the extensions fell off until now. I asked the lady how long she's been doing eyelashes for and she replied 3-4 years but prefers to do other services (should have walked out right then). She kept commenting how my lashes are naturally long and asked why I'm getting extensions in....well, needless to say they're not long anymore. When she was done and tried to smooth out the lashes with the brush, it kept getting stuck and tangled - not a good sign. Looking in the mirror I could see clumps of glue attached to multiple lashes. Instead of one extension per lash, it was one extension glued together to multiple lashes. Trying to get them to stay the right direction with the spool brush was almost impossible since she didn't glue them on correctly. I know you're not supposed to wear creams or oils around the eyes but I've been putting face oil on my eyes to get these assholes off ASAP and crawl back to my old eyelash chic. DO NOT come here for eyelash extensions. #lessonlearned

I go in looking for a foot massage only and they want payment up front for services not yet performed, weird!! I paid $40 bucks for one hour which everyone else around is less but I needed my feet rubbed really bad as I stand all day on them. The lady rubs my shins from 8:40pm til 9:15, I stopped her to tell her to rub my feet which is what I'm paying for and she says she doesn't understand. After spending about another 5 mins in there another lady that originally greeted me says ok, feel good all done. Now I'm confused as to maybe I had the wrong body part to rub when I walked in here. So charged me $40 for 35mins which was supposed to be an hour and didn't even get a real massage. Be careful approaching this place people it's a rip off or it's really what most parlors are supposed to be!!

First of all, ABC must stand for ALWAYS BRING CASH! I almost…read moregave this place two stars but my last experience sealed this negative review. Upon my initial visit I was greeted with an awkward and unclear explanation of the pricing. I selected a one hour massage, which was I believe $50 (fine price, but not $25 as the signage might lead you to believe). The masseuse continued in uncomfortable, awkward fashion by escorting me to the room and admonishing me multiple times "Everything but underwear!" "Don't take off underwear!" "You leave on underwear!" I think I actually had to say "Okay I get it." Anyway, she actually gave a pretty okay massage. Now my second visit was actually pretty decent. All went more or less as expected for this kind of place. The only hang up was the extra charge for not having cash on me (booo). So the third time I went I was again without cash and expected the fee, but this time I was told (not asked) to tip up front since they were charging the card. Then before I could even respond she says "Twenty dollar... minimum." Yes the "tip" that you are forced to pay upfront has a minimum amount. This is ridiculous. I decided to leave. Another woman came to try and persuade me to stay but I kindly declined. I decided to give this place one last shot, after all it is very close to my place and I did get that one good massage. On this last trip I was met with the same rude behavior as before. This time I had cash but decided to put the massage on my card anyway. When she got to the part about the tip I told I have cash that I'll use for the tip. and I was STILL TOLD to tip up front. I protested. She gave me the minimum and some dumb explanation. I explained to her that the tip is extra. It is supposed to be up to me based on my opinion of their service. She can't tell me how much to tip. If they want to get more money, they should just charge more on the actual price instead of trying to sneak in weird reasons to get more money out of you. So she argued and I just left. I got a great massage at Massage Essence on Red Hill and Bristol. I'll never patronize ABC again.

After a couple days out in the Indio Valley my body was just aching for some relief, and being a…read moretad short on cash I immediately recalled this little parlor every time I stop by Peter's Gourmade. What made me bite the hook was there banner that said something along the lines of a $20 special 1-hour massage. When I stepped inside I was noted that it was neck and upper back only, but there was a $40 deal that was full body thai and at the level of soreness I was in I couldn't help but upgrade. One thing to note is that they charge you $2 for using your card, so BRING CASH. My room didn't feel so necessarily "private" as advertised, it was enclosed of by walls but it had an open portion in the ceiling that was right next to the entrance where I could pretty much everything that was going on outside. Personally I didn't care, but I note this for anyone particular person that happens to be picky. My massage experience itself was just what I need, I asked for deep tissue and damn was it deep tissue. My masseus worked her way deep into my muscle fibers that hurt oh so good in the end, especially when they do it by walking on your back. But after a nice rub down with some hot gels/ towels I felt fresh and relaxed only to be greeted with a nice cup of water on my way out. The reason I gave this place 3 stars is solely on the facility. Nothing against it, but it was just small and giving 4 stars would be unfair to the other upscale massage parlors in the same ratings category. As for my Massues she was definitely 4 stars, and for the amount of money I put down there's no way you can argue for the quality I got. If you are in the area and seeking an inexpensive touch-up, slide by and grab a burger next door afterwards. Haha
