Beware. They changed their name...Apple Wellness is the same business as Revival Business. I wasn't going to write this, bc I spoke to the manager already, but since I took my bf here as a gift, and he has been in neck pain, I'm pretty upset. This deal wasn't worth the experience, and this spa experience was probably one of the worsts I've ever had. I've been to cheaper massages with masseuses that had better professional skill sets. Our facials for one, led our face dry. And the massage left our bodies so oily. Generally, the masseuse usually wipes down our bodies at the end with a warm/hot wet towel. This place didn't, and I had to request it. When I told my masseuse that it was too hard, she replied quickly and said "But this is deep tissue." Seriously? If it's too hard for me, then it's too hard for me. I've had deep tissue, this though was different, she was rough. Then afterwards, I requested no stone bc I'm sensitive to heat. She tried to convince me after I told her only if they could be not hot, only warm. Later on, without a usual warning of asking or making stone sounds, she puts the stones on me out of no where and I jumped. And THEN she had the audacity to tell me, "Oh Come on! It's not that bad." Thinking back now, I'm pretty outraged. I don't know why I sat through all of it. The experience was so rough. After telling this to the manager over the phone, she asked me for my second Groupon voucher code. Well if anyone was there after we were done to check them, I would have given it to you. My bf only tipped them and one of them was already out the door before I was. No warm hello, no good bye and ty? God, such an experience... Anyway, the manager offered me a discount of $10 bucks if I ever wanted to come back. I paid $170 plus tip, for two people. To leave a wellness spa feeling like this, is unacceptable. "Massage" was not worth the drive from Anaheim.My boyfriend and I purchased the couple massage package on Groupon.Once there, they did not know what package was purchased. Upon choosing the hot stones and facial they walked us in to a room with a lot of light. The massage therapist did not apply any type of pressure even though I asked her about 3 times to apply more pressure. It seemed like she was just rubbing the lotion on my body. As for my bf, his massage therapist was rubbing too hard . No technique what so ever . They kept leaving the door open , going in and out of the room as well as having a full conversation in a foreign language. They left us laying there with oil , we asked for a hot towel to wipe off and they didn't have any available .As for the facial, the steamer burned my face and it was placed right over my nose so I wasn't able to breathe comfortably. Should've known when the Groupon displays the company name as Apple Wellness Spa but the outside of the building says Revival Spa. That should've been my first sign to walk away. My appointment was for 11 AM. I arrived at 11 AM and was told to wait. I waited for 15 minutes. She placed me in the room. I don't know her name she never gave me her name. She never asked for my trouble spots. The bed was hard as a rock. There was no foam roller or anything placed under my feet when I was laying on my stomach or on my back. The door was open the entire time of my massage. The last 30 minutes another lady kept coming in snd talking and they were speaking a foreign language ; the massage therapist and the person. There was no technique just a bunch of rubbing. Felt more like a rub down than a massage. Don't waste your money or your time! read more

My girlfriend and I walked in and were able to score appointments for the both of us to get massages at the same time. We both opted for the one hour full body for only $55. Read some reviews and saw that Cathy and Amy were the gals to see and just our luck they were both there! My friend and I both walked out of our massages amazed and super relaxed. We both get massages often and we both agreed that we had just received one of the best massages in our life!! First of all, they both went well over the one hour time, incorporated hot stones which I love and almost never get as it's always an extra charge (free here!) and the hot towels were also a nice touch! The best 90 minutes spent!! As a busy Mom, I don't always have the luxury of free time so when Randy recommended the 90 minute Swedish massage deal, I was hesitant. After some persuading, I said OK to the 90 minute deal. I am so glad I did!!! Amy, my masseuse, was amazing! Great pressure, firm but not painful. I carry a lot of tension on my shoulders and back but she was able to relieve the tension on my back quickly and massaged all the knots! I did ask Randy that I wanted some scalp massage as well, so he requested that Amy included some scalp massage in the 90 minutes and she did a great job incorporating it. It was my first time experiencing hot stones and it was great! Very relaxing. I find Revival Spa to be an amazing deal, especially in Irvine. The facility is very calm and clean. I also appreciate the private rooms. I don't get massages very often but after today, I will go more regularly! I went here for a one hour massage after reading all the positive reviews and thinking they would help me with my back pain. Turns out it was the worst experience I've ever had. When I arrived, I was asked to wait for 20 minutes and after looking around I was not even sure this place even did massages. Seems more of a day spa for facials and makeup. Definitely didn't see any certifications hanging on the wall like you do other massage places. This had me a little worried. But a lady took me back to a private room and shortly after the masseuse came in. I had a hard time explaining what I wanted done and where my problem back pain was. She didn't speak english and was very rough. And hardly spent any time on my back pain. Not even 45 minutes and she said "finish". What a waste of time and money. I went in for a 30 min Foot Reflexology massage and did not get one. She rubbed lotion on my feet with a very light hand. I asked her to use more pressure but she didn't. She then rubbed hot stones on the bottom of my feet, which didn't feel bad, but wasn't reflexology. I waited for the reflexology to begin and it never did. It was fairly rough, and difficult to ask for less pressure due to a major language barrier. I could hardly relax at all. I would say it wasn't the worst massage I've gotten, but far from being the best. The part that really bummed me out was the facial. Although I had never had one before, it was not relaxing at all. They seemed like they use way too much lotion and the method of running the face was sloppy and quick as well as using the same technique over and over for 45 min. While this location isn't as large or lavish as high end spas I actually prefer their services over visiting those places. 5 star to the massage 0 star for the privacy Massage is great, the masseuses are experienced and they know exactly where to press, however if the masseuse speaks a bit of english, it would be even better. Because I brought my own massage/body oil. The masseuse didn't read the bottle and splashed the oil on my face and did a facial massage by using my body oil. Luckily I didn't get a break out on my face because of the oil. But they should really be careful and read the bottle just like the other masseuses. The thing that really pisses me off was when they were working on my butt, I was pretty butt naked, all of a sudden the door is opened for more than 2 minutes, the manager stood in front of the door, searching through paperwork and trying to pass the new schedule to the masseuse. The lighting in the room didn't have a dimmer, so the room is bright, that manager who stood outside the door had the pleasure of watching my naked ass for 2+ minutes. I was about to yell at him to shut the d*mn door. I was pretty pissed. If you need to give my masseuse a new schedule, you could do it after my massage. Who likes their ass being shown to another man in a massage room? It's not beach. It's cold when you open the door for your customer, all the pores are open and I can get cold. It's inconsiderate and unprofessional. If you have been to this place a lot, you will notice that every crane stickers(first left) are removed from their door frame. People from the outside can look in those gaps and I wonder whether it's coincidental or purposely? The constant door opening will stress you out. I would give them 1 star if the massage weren't that nice. This is a place you don't get to see your masseuse, because you will be facing down when the masseuse came in. You will tell the manager where to work on and he will pass those information to the masseuse, if you forgot to mention something? It's too bad, because the masseuse doesn't understand english and it's also hard to call the manager when you were in the middle of a session.
