Amy gives a great Brazillian wax! She is very thorough and takes her time, using both soft and hard wax for a flawless finish.

The reasons why I want to update my review: Very relaxing atmosphere -- the center area isn't overly loud. Everything is very clean and well maintained. The skincare products they use feel nicer/better quality than what I've experienced at other spas. I also really appreciate that this is a 12+ facility, so there aren't small children running around. At some other spas, kids can be loud and make it harder to fully relax. Here, the atmosphere is much more peaceful, which makes a big difference when you're coming to relax

It provides plenty of amenities, it's clean, peaceful, and the staff are friendly. It has been my favorite spa in the OC for the past year. However, on Sunday, it was a different experience. While I was in the warm water bath, I was talking quietly with my friend next to me. We had a staff member shush us, which I understood, maybe we were talking too loudly. So we quieted down even more, talking in whispers where I could barely even hear my friend. That same staff member came back to shush us two more times. We even had another fellow patron tell us later that he couldn't even hear us. It totally ruined my experience feeling like a staff member is hounding on us, watching our every move. I will say that every other aspect of our visit continues to be fantastic but it was just that staff member that ruined my experience.

I've driven past here multiple times and didn't realize this was here. We started by soaking in the hot tubs, and my friends graciously booked me for the exfoliation scrub and massage, which was a 10 out of 10. My masseuse (sorry, I forgot your name!) was amazing!! I felt like a smooth baby afterwards. After that, we grabbed lunch at the restaurant attached to the spa. Thankfully, they provide slippers so you can just walk across the hallway to the restaurant. We ate well, and then spent the rest of our time in the saunas, which were amazing. I loved the range of saunas, and I appreciated that the common area had tons of space; it was quiet and serene. Definitely would recommend to others. It's a bang for your buck for all the services offered here. We'll definitely be back!

If you aren't familiar with a Korean spa, prepare to be naked in the wet areas, and they give you a spa outfit for the common areas. K Spa is really friendly for first timers cause they have a sheet with etiquette and rules for those not familiar with a Korean Spa experience. We made our spa reservation about 2 weeks in advanced. We both got the 60 Minute Oil Massage ($125) which comes with admission, Korean scrub, and an oil massage. Come at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment time if you're doing the scrub, as you need to soak for optimal dead skin cell removal. So we got lockers and out spa outfits. There is a shoe locker by the entrance and then larger lockers further inside. My friend and I started off taking a shower to clean off before going into the jacuzzis. The wet area has the same amenities as many other Korea spas. There are showers, both standing ones and sitting ones where you can scrub each other's backs or shave your own legs. There are cold, warm and hot jacuzzi. They have sauna. The size of the wet area and the individual jacuzzis are on the small side compared to other Korean spas I've been to. Anyways, we went to the warm jacuzzi and soaked for half an hour, with some brief water breaks in between. Towards the time of our appointment, we went towards the treatment area. The ladies look at the numbers on our locker keys and identify us for the treatment. My lady did not speak much English but that didn't matter cause we were able to communicate well nonverbally. The pressure was perfect and she was so thorough. I felt so clean after all that dead skin cells was removed. The oil massage was such a nice way to moisturize after getting scrubbed. The common areas are co-ed. The main space was really warm. It was too hot outside to deal with that warm feeling. There are also small communal rooms for ice, red clay, salt, and forest. We peaked in the common areas but we were getting hungry after our treatment so we decided to go to the restaurant connected to the spa. Didn't love the restaurant but it was nice having the option to eat something nearby and convenient. We paid at the entrance so when we left, we just had to return the keys and any tip envelops. The staff also have venmos and some even have zelle so that makes it easier if you're short on cash. Overall I thought it was great value for spending a few hours at the spa with my friend. Until next time.

I've been here a few times over the years, most recently I had a facial with Justine. The staff is always kind. You would not realize it from the outside but inside is a peaceful sanctuary. Make sure to arrive early for the peaceful, calm waiting area. I believe they will always give you a foot soak when you book. Whenever I've been, I've come early and it's empty - like an added bonus to relax before my services. They have many modalities to pick from for facials and massage. Justine tailored my facial to my ultra dry skin and spent extra time working on my under eyes. I walked out feeling and looking like I was fully rested, refreshed and reset. They have a monthly membership program that seems like a pretty good deal if you can commit to coming in regularly.

This facial also stimulates collagen production and tones your face. It was a perfect pre-birthday treat for myself. Booking was easy on the website and all their services have a good description to determine what best fits your needs. I had to reschedule my initial appointment, and for that you need to call in. They send you a text reminder, and you must cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment to avoid a fee. One special thing to note is if you book a service that's at least an hour, you receive a complimentary foot soak as long if you arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment. This was a nice touch. When I arrived, Cristina, from the front desk walked me to their quiet room, which has the ultimate relaxation vibes. She was amazing! She had my foot soak ready to go, along with a heated neck wrap and a blanket. On top of that, she made me a delicious vanilla chamomile tea, accompanied by a chocolate. A literal pampering angel. My facial was done by Chasity. She was also so nice and she gave me plenty of time to change and get comfortable in the spa bed. She listened to my skin concerns and tailored the products for my face. Throughout my appointment, she explained each step of the facial. At one point I was so relaxed, I fell asleep. Before I left, I signed up for their busy bee membership so I can make sure to keep up with my skincare goals. Thank you, Lemon and Honey Day Spa, your staff was amazing!

Overall, a great experience! There were some hiccups along the way which ended up being…read moreparticularly stressful for me, but I think we were all navigating a tricky/unique situation. Super grateful to the technicians for helping support us. I was bringing in my friend to get a headspa & little did she know it, but should would get proposed to later that day. We had a schedule: 3:30-4:30PM 60 min headspa, 4:30-5 buffer time if things run late, drive home, 5:15-5:45 get ready, 5:45 leave, arrive for proposal at 6:15PM to make sunset at 6:30PM. My friend's now-fiance called Blue Moon the week prior to set-up an appointment and let the technicians know. He was even able to pay ahead of time for us through Zelle. He said the ladies were super nice and mentioned they'd give the best technician to my friend since it was her special day. A day or two leading up to the proposal, I called to ask if during the blow-dry portion of our headspa, they could style my friend's hair a certain way. She wanted them to use a round brush to flip out her ends. They let me know if they had time, they would most likely be able to accommodate. But to let the front desk know when we arrived. BlueMoon sent reminder texts leading up to the appointment and told us to arrive 5-10 min early for a hair consultation and to change into the robes. My friend and I arrived to our appointment a little before 3:20PM. There was a little waiting area. They had us fill out a quick form and I asked again if we could style my friend's hair a certain way. She said she would let the technician know and if there was time, they'd be able to. She also told us to ask the technician. This is where things went a bit south. We ended up waiting in the waiting room a while. There was a heatwave this particular weekend so it was a bit warm in the waiting room. A few people were there before us and came in after us, but they all got called in before us. I feel like this happened because they tried to put our headspa rooms next to one another, which is so nice, but at the end of the day doesn't matter who you end up next to since the rooms are individual. We ended up starting our hair consultations in the waiting room a little after 3:30. The consultation was a cool experience as they used a camera to check our roots, follicles, oil development, and split ends. Then we waited some more. We finally got called into the headspa rooms around 3:55PM. I ended up having to wait in the hallway a bit as it appeared my room wasn't properly set-up, but no big deal. Eventually, I was let in. They had us change into a very cute and comfortable wrap. By the time we started the headspa, it was 4pm, 40 minutes after we had arrived. The headspa was AMAZING. I had Mimi and she did everything wonderfully. She greeted me and gave me verbal cues. She led me throughout and the pressure of her massage was perfect. SHE WAS FABULOUS! My friend had Wendy. Wendy was also great but didn't give her as many directions as Mimi did. When we finished the headspa portion, we were done around 4:50PM. I went to the hair area first and was given a cute little snack (biscoff cookies, a water bottle, and grapes) in a fun Halloween bowl. Mimi got started on my hair and was done in about 10-15 minutes. MY HAIR LOOKED SO GOOD. Now my friend finished a little bit after me and this is the part that gets difficult. We didn't end up getting out of the headspa until around 5:45PM (2 hours after our appointment started). This is so tough as I know Wendy took her time to make my friend's hair look as good as possible. AND MAN OH MAN DID HER HAIR LOOK GOOD. I think that was on us to not let them know ahead of time that we needed to leave by 5PM/5:15PM the latest to catch sunset, but I didn't know how long things would take. Also, my friend has long hair so I'm sure that played a role. The lady at the front was so nice as she tried to help me let Wendy know that we needed to leave ASAP. But it was such a tough situation. I wanted to get out of there, but I didn't want to rush Wendy and be rude, but we couldn't miss sunset. Wendy didn't necessarily move fast, but again, she might've been taking her time on purpose to ensure a great final product. Either way, she did a great job on my friend's hair. However, I was incredibly stressed out with the time. The lady at the front checked in on Wendy a few times and kept saying she was close to being finished, but it still took another 20-30 minutes from that point. Luckily, we made it to the proposal in the nick of time and we were able to catch some sunlight. It was beautiful! Generally, the services we got at BlueMoon were great. I think it was difficult because we started the actual headspa 30 minutes late and the timing was thrown off. However, I really appreciate the ladies for helping this day be super special for my friend! OUR HAIR LOOKED AMAZING. SIDENOTE: I absolutely loved all the seasonal decor! This would be so fun to do at Christmas.

I filled out the form when i first got there i chose hard/medium for the pressure. That being said, the massages on my neck, shoulders, legs, arms, foot all just felt like she was just rubbing lotion. No pressure at all, maybe a little On the arms but that was it. So that was a let down as i paid the highest package for massages. The head massage was nice and so was the facial. I think i enjoyed that the most. The overall vibe is super cute, i like how they separate the spaces. I don't feel lol like this was worth $250... maybe $200.

I recently moved to Brea in February and wanted to find a place close to home, came across Mirako Spa in Brea on Yelp, read some reviews, and decided to give them a try. I'm so glad I did! It's very easy to find, conveniently located in a strip mall right next to TJ Maxx. From the moment you walk in, the space feels welcoming. The reception and waiting area are beautifully decorated--simple yet posh. The treatment rooms are always clean, organized, and well-maintained. You can tell they take pride in their space and the services they provide. I've been here a handful of times now for different services, and every visit has been a great experience. The management and staff are knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and take the time to explain things. I never feel rushed or pressured into purchasing additional services, which I really appreciate. It's nice to find a place where you feel comfortable, trust the people taking care of you, and know you're in good hands. Taking the time to focus on myself and my skin again feels good, and finding Mirako Spa has made that even better. It's become my go-to spot, and I genuinely look forward to my visits. They've definitely made a loyal customer out of me. I'm so happy I found this gem right here in Brea!

I reached Mirako Spa in Brea for my facial appointment exactly 3 mins late. A lady who told me that…read moremy appointment was at 2:30pm. (I have attached text messages that my appointment was at 2:45pm). Upon showing the text message, she agreed that I was late by 3 mins. (+ 5 mins grace period). I was informed right away that I need to reschedule as I was late or cut down my facial time from 60mins to 40 mins. I should have arrived 15 mins before the appointment time. Therefore, my showing up delayed by 3 mins would delay the next client by 15 mins as they needed time to prepare for the next client! Math doesn't add up any way we look at it unless they had informed in advance to show up 15 mins before the appointment time, which they hadn't. 1. There was absolutely no notification or instruction provided to me about arriving 15 mins early before the appointment time at the time of making my appointment or text reminder. Therefore if one is late by less than. 10 mins, they lose their facial time by 20mins and are lashed out if clients try to reason out. I was told me to depart as I was 3 mins late or reduce my facial time by 20 mins. 2. Jenny, who came over from inside took over the conversation, was very unprofessional and rude. She argued with me for 15 mins non-stop when I tried to reason out that if I was late by 3 mins, if they wanted to be a stickler of time without informing me to arrive 15 mins early, they should take away 3 mins of my time not, 20 mins. She yelled at me saying "I don't want you to come here ever, I never want to give you service!". I don't understand how Mirako Spa even employs such people who are clueless about how to treat clients with courtesy, let alone working in a service industry. Here is the twist: when I checked in, another lady besides Jenny told me that my appointment was at 2:30pm, which their mistake to begin with as my appointment was at 2:45pm. It appears that they messed up with their own scheduling but because I was 3 mins late for my 2:45 appt, I bore the brunt of Jenny's unprofessional behavior as she couldn't admit that they had accidentally messed up scheduling my appointment. Instead she told me to leave or get a facial cut down by 20mins! I am attaching screenshots of my appointment time. As per Jenny, I should have a common sense to show up 15 mins before appointment time even though I wasn't informed about arriving early or else, appt that was anyway scheduled incorrectly by 15 mins sooner, from what I was notified. Try to avoid Jenny if you go to Mirako Spa in Brea, she can be scathing, unreasonable, and unprofessional. Try to reach 15 mins prior to your appointment even if they don't notify you.
