All of the women we had in the past weren't there anymore so we tried new massage therapists and we left disappointed. BUT we shared our thoughts with their team and for Mother's Day we went back and the therapists were so nice and made sure we left feeling amazing. Good lesson to give a biz a second chance. However someone from the spa called and then texted me with follow up questions, which was helpful. They only have 1 hydrofacial machine so were unable to do 2 of this type of facial treatment at the same time. Can do certain facials together in the same room if you are booked for a couple massage, but not the hydrofacial (which makes sense). So I opted for a different treatment while my sister received the hydrofacial treatment. My facial treatment was specifically for a skin concern, but to be honest, it just felt like any other facial. The aesthetician was nice, but didn't seem too familiar with certain skin conditions and topicals used (e.g., tretinoin, clindamycin, etc). The facial wasn't bad, but just felt like it wasn't specifically tailored like my normal facial back home. The hydrofacial was nice per my sister, and the aesthetician was also pleasant. Although redness of the face does not always indicate rosacea... Most of these types of spa tend to indicate rosacea even though it is not. The cost of the facial treatments is fair. The full body massages were good. I requested for a deep tissue massage and my sister requested for a Swedish massage. Both massages were great. I added the hot stone therapy for an additional $10, which was nice. Pricing was also fair. The facility is clean and the ambiance was relaxing. The decór was appropriate and certainly added to the serene ambiance. They have different rooms with different themes, and they are appropriately dark. The front desk female staff was also very nice and welcoming. They provide you with slippers to wear also and have a storage shelf to place your shoes. You can also request for no CBD oil, etc. Parking is also widely available throughout the plaza. Overall, will likely come back for a massage in the future if in the area, but will likely skip the facial. My usual massage therapist is great, and the pricing is also lower than here. However, this spa's ambiance is definitely better and more serene.

I had LomiLomi with Kate. This massage is really special, it helps with emotional weight and during difficult time. It requires the masseuse to have not only a lot of knowledge about the unique technique but also open heart and mind because she uses her entire body and energy including breath to focus and release physical and emotional tension from the body which are interconnected system. It's a holistic type of massage and I could not have asked for more. I had tears in my eyes and I felt instantly lighter upon leaving the place. This is my favorite type of massage and not many places know how to properly perform it. Kate combined the LomiLomi with a little bit of deep tissue and thai stretching at the end which was perfect. My husband had deep tissue and thai stretching with Amie and he loved it as well. He works out a lot plus he coaches soccer daily on youth pro level so he is constantly under stress and moving a lot. He told me she was a tiny lady so when he saw her he was afraid she won't have enough strength but he was so surprised haha she was really strong (and that's what he needs). She begins with some directional stretches on your back to get you ready for the "walk on the back." She walks with such skill, from your calves, thighs, buttocks, upper spine, forearms, etc. My two add ons were: - The walk on your back (she does it the best) it's so restorative - Back scrub (it's so refreshing, it like brings more blood flow) - Sasha really puts her heart into it, and uses strong pressure; it feels so good. Sasha has a spirit of excellence. She does not miss a single thing. She got all of my areas of concern: - Ear massage (she does this the best and the longest), it helps with my recent sudden neural hearing loss - Scalp - Neck - Shoulders - Upper spine (sometimes it cracks too, absolutely wonderful) - Buttocks - Thighs - Calves (she does my calves in a few different ways during her treatment), so good!!! Cos Calves are the body's 2nd heart, it pushes blood back into the heart! - Ending with face up, shoulder, arm, thighs and feet massages too Sasha has great concern for the client. I specifically said I only wanted my back and feet worked on, but when my masseuse came in, she started massaging my legs and glutes. I had to stop her and repeat that I only wanted back and feet. (-1 point) Honestly, it felt like I paid for someone to just use their forearm to spread lotion on my back. (-1 point) The pressure was extremely light and slow, and she spent most of the time just moving up and down along my spine in one direction. (-1 point) I'm not exaggerating when I say that's basically all she did for my back. I could've paid my 3-year-old niece to do the same thing. She also tried to work on my neck, and I had to redirect her again to focus on my shoulders. After I said that, she briefly used her knuckles and applied heavy pressure, but it only lasted about 2 minutes before she went right back to the same up-and-down motion on my back. It honestly made me feel uncomfortable, as if she was reacting negatively to being redirected. (-1 point) I was worried that if I asked for medium pressure, she might respond too aggressively (like using her elbow). At that point, I realized it wasn't really about adjusting the pressure, but the overall technique, and that's not something I should have to coach her during a massage. Communication was difficult throughout the entire session. (-1 point) Afterward, I shared my experience with the front desk, and he did adjust the pricing from a #4 trigger point massage to a #1 body massage, which I appreciated. (+1 point) Another thing to note is their stamp card system. Apparently, the stamps only apply to a specific type of massage. So if you get a body massage one visit and a trigger point massage the next, they count toward separate cards. That means to earn a free massage (buy 12, get 1 free), you'd have to stick to the same type every time. It doesn't really incentivize you to be a regular or loyal customer. Overall, the experience was terrible. I've had plenty of massages at different businesses and this one felt like the masseuse didn't even try. I used to come here because of the price, but I won't be coming back.

When massage was done after getting dressed and headed to the lobby Mae was there with hot green tea. I tipped her and she was gracious. *** The only complaint I have is the place was cold. I would've preferred a little warmer. If I'm ever in that area again I will definitely visit again.
