Korean skincare lovers and just all around skincare lovers, this experience was incredible!…read more I recently visited Troiareuke in Lake Forest for a professional Korean skin analysis and facial experience, and I was blown away by how detailed the skin scan was. The scan measured everything from hydration levels, pigmentation, sun damage, wrinkles, pore size, and buildup, giving me a complete picture of my skin's health and exactly what I can do to improve it. Seeing the results in real time was both fascinating and eye-opening! The facility itself is absolutely beautiful, with high-end Korean skincare products throughout. As someone who loves Korean skincare, I was in heaven!!!! If you've ever wondered what your skin actually needs, I highly recommend scheduling a skin scan. The personalized insights alone are worth it--and trust me, you'll want to stay for the facial too! Alice helped me with the scan and Dana did my facial. Both were amazing! Book your appointment you won't regret it.

Never experienced this kind of unprofessional behavior. I drove 1.5 hours to this location because…read moreI was very excited about the technology used and everything that was used and shown on social media. Location, stunning. I'm going to address two main things, The service started out okay but then shortly after instead of nice massage movements they started light slapping on my face and I don't personally like that which made me uncomfortable, at the end of the service they put a leg compressor and a face mask on and left the room for what felt like forever, so long that I started counting how many pauses in between songs which was 8, even if a song is 3 minutes long that's well over 20mins. I went to the front and paid for my service and sunscreen because I didn't enjoy the service but the product was nice. I still tipped because I know what it's like to be in the beauty industry working for tips. I reached out to the private line which I assumed was the owner cause it was sending me personal texts about rescheduling to give some feedback because I didn't want to put my girl on the spot and make her uncomfortable. I wanted the owner and her to have a private one on one coaching moment with the feedback that I left. You can read the messages listed above, but long story short it spiraled to such a point where instead of just giving private coaching, they had her try and call me to apologize, which is both embarrassing for her and myself and completely unprofessional. If you go to a restaurant and don't like your food, you don't see the manager, bringing out the chef to apologize to you right? they just fix the food and that's the end of it. I felt like they were completely targeting her and trying to make it seem like I was doing the same and they were telling me that she was ashamed which I was not trying to belittle her. I was just trying to share private criticism about not leaving someone in a room for 20 minutes to just lay there with a face mask on and getting too much slapping movements on the face which was making me uncomfortable. I would absolutely never go back just based on the way they treat their employees. On top of that they try to make it right with a $75 refund which I said that I would accept because I drove an hour and a half away and they stopped messaging me when I said I would accept so now they're not doing that either. I can never support a business that tries to make their employees feel small when they make a mistake and embarrass them. Good products or not these people are still people at the end of the day and trying to put them on the spot to call and apologize is crazy When I was just giving private feedback on something the made me uncomfortable.

*The TLDR* I'm not a review person, but I had to write this…read moreone. I cannot sing Spela's praises enough!! She has a great energy, she is so knowledgable, and has top of the line equipment from Europe (before it even gets to the US many times), treatments are so relaxing, and her products actually WORK. K, now if you want the short novel: To be honest I was skeptical to get a treatment because it's the Wild West when it comes to ingredients and there's so much crap out there, plus my skin reacts to so much... BUT. I just had my first treatment with Spela and I'm sold. I have always struggled with very dry skin and I also have lot of food allergies- (especially gluten). Despite being super conscientious about what I eat and what I put on my skin, I kind of resolved that my best skin would always include redness and bumps on top of the dryness. Then, in the last two months, I got a new member to the club- I developed some serious issues with the edges of my mouth being constantly cracked and then my skin all around my mouth basically cracking off. gross I know. I hadn't told Spela any of my gut issues or allergies and she read my face like a book- immediately pointing signs that out that my gut must be very upset with me lol and my gross mouth situation was peri oral dermatitis and possibly a B12 deficiency (which I know I have). She was immediately so encouraging we were going to fix it all (if I promised to do my part of the work- she was very clear on that lol). She sent me home with a regimen and I'm not kidding, it's only one day/ 2 regimens later and my gross mouth is already like 50% better and my skin is glowing. I can't say my skin has ever felt "nourished", and that really is the only way I can describe what my face feels like. Overall, her whole space and the experience was so relaxing. I'll circle back in a couple months with an update- I finally have hope I can have control over my skin :)

The first appointment I had with her she could see right away that my skin was sincerely F'd up.. she was so gentle and only did what she could do. She set me up on a regimen.. and I'm always skeptical, like sure this cream or serum is going to change my life..but let me tell you... I listened to her and followed what she said. I could feel the difference. She gave me strict instructions about what to do and what not to do. 4 weeks later I came back for a facial and was blown away by my before and after pictures. Spela I am forever yours. Oh and did I mention she is so fun and sweet. So knowledgeable about skin. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment with her

I found Seven Falls through google search and kept comparing locations…read more I really needed to decide on one soon cause I was in so much pain with my left shoulder. So I decided to check this place out. I had the opportunity to have Kat as my massage therapist. She did say before the massage I am here to help with your pain and not hurting you. Hehe I was grateful for that statement. No pain no gain. Today my left shoulder pain is completely gone. Something Massage heights couldn't take away. I will be coming back for a monthly massage for circulation.

My experience here was... interesting, to say the least. I read so many great reviews before coming…read morein, but surprisingly, hardly anyone mentioned what I experienced except for maybe a couple of people. First, the good: the place is clean, pleasant, and welcoming. The service is good, and everyone was sweet and courteous. My friend and I had planned a little foot massage day, and this place was convenient, so we decided to give it a try. For me, a foot massage means exactly that - a FOOT massage. Something relaxing and comforting, especially for people who walk a lot or are on their feet all day. Your heels, arches, and the front of your feet are the areas that really need that nice pressure and attention. That's kind of the whole point. Unfortunately, the description of the foot massage was very different from what I actually received. And just for context, I'm definitely not new to massages. I've had foot massages in many different cities and countries throughout my travels, so I have a pretty good idea of what a foot massage is supposed to feel like. This was NOT a foot massage. I feel bad saying that because my masseuse was a very sweet lady, but she spent almost the entire time intensely pressing and poking my legs with her fingers. It genuinely hurt. I asked her to go easier, but I don't think she understood what I meant. She seemed to think I wanted less pressure overall, when really I was trying to explain that her fingers were literally poking the heck out of my leg bones. Meanwhile, my actual feet were barely touched. My heels? Not once. It was mostly constant rubbing and finger pressure on my legs, which was honestly the opposite of what I came in for. Unfortunately, it felt like a waste of money for me. I also didn't feel guilty about not tipping because my experience was genuinely uncomfortable and not at all what was advertised. I actually feel bad leaving this review because everyone was nice, and everything else about the place was great. I'm leaving this mainly as feedback for the business. Either the description of the service needs to be more accurate, or the massage therapists need to be trained so the service actually matches what's being advertised. After this experience, I personally wouldn't feel comfortable trying their other services because now I'd be wondering whether those descriptions match the actual service either. Really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, this one was a no for me. Sorry, but no thank you.

I'm really happy to finally be writing this review about my laser treatment. I don't usually leave…read morereviews, but I wanted to for this -- and I waited about two weeks so I could see the real changes in my skin first. I struggled with acne from my teenage years into my mid-20s, which really bothered me. Once my acne finally calmed down, I decided to visit the medspa to work on my acne scars and skin texture. This was my first laser treatment, so I was honestly pretty nervous. Lyndsey was my nurse, and she was amazing. She's very knowledgeable and explained everything about the procedure and how it works, which helped me feel a lot more comfortable. The facility was very clean and professional, too. I had Nordlys resurfacing and IPL done. I won't lie, it was a little painful, but totally worth it. Lyndsey made it much easier by checking in on me, giving me ice packs, and adjusting the settings during the treatment based on how I was feeling. Now that I've had time to see the results, I'm really happy with the improvement in my skin. I'm definitely going back (actually planning to schedule my next treatment right after this) and highly recommend Lyndsey. She never pushes unnecessary treatments and really takes time to talk through your skin concerns and choose the right options for you.
