I have had a wonderful experience every time I've come here, and have recommended many friends and family. Both older women who have done my eyebrows were kind, professional, and did an amazing job. Yesterday, the girl who did my eyebrows told me at 3 different points that I should wax my nose hair so that I would look "more American". I kept telling her kindly that I wasn't interested in that service today and was just here for my eyebrow threading, but she wouldn't take No for an answer and kept stopping the threading to tell me why it would look better. I understand making a recommendation based off your professional opinion, however after saying I'm not interested, that doesn't mean you should stop the eyebrow threading every couple of minutes to explain why I should do the other service. And to get progressively more insulting with the reasoning of why, isn't okay either. Also, I'm Iranian and don't think that "looking more American" should be a selling point or consider it a compliment. I never said I wanted that. Take the No for an answer. Insisting repeatedly and shaming me into doing a service, pushed me away from returning. read more

I asked for a clean up and I got botched brows. They look so choppy and she took too much from the bottom of the eyebrow on the right so it now has a weird arch. My brows are usually sleek after threading and this looks incredibly choppy and such an awkward shape. Came in right before my trip which was the worst decision. read more

I love this place! The women who work here are always so nice and good at what they do! I usually do my own eyebrows at home, but when I don't have time or they get too messy I like to come here. It doesn't matter who does your eyebrows, they are always attentive and listen for what you want. I will follow her wherever she goes since her attention to details and her care is absolutely unmatched by any other people I've tried. I have very soft skin and in the past I've always got cuts on my face through threading by others but with her I've never had any issues. I had a really bad experience at True Threading. The woman who did my eyebrows (she had white hair) was extremely careless while threading. She actually cut the skin above my eyelid with the thread, leaving visible cuts. This has never happened to me before in all the years I've had my eyebrows threaded. It was painful and unnecessary. She was very reckless with how she was using the thread. I didn't get her name, but I hope the salon takes this seriously and ensures better training and care in the future. read more
