I came in this Sunday around 2:30 PM. The lady who serviced me, I believe, was Anita. My experience was so uncomfortable, and the service was not performed well--which is disheartening because Para, the owner, was so kind and meticulous the first time I came in for the service two weeks ago. I come in and ask her to have my lip and eyebrows threaded. At first, she asks me if I want an eyebrow tint, and I politely decline. The upselling did not stop there. She kept suggesting other services for me to add on while she was actively threading my eyebrows. Her way of selling was demeaning and very unprofessional. I have very sensitive skin and a medical condition that causes rapid hair growth, and instead of meeting me with patience, she ignorantly told me I needed to come in more frequently and to not let the hair accumulate. This is not how you speak to customers. I understand the necessity to sell, but you don't continue to try and add on to the service when you are actively in control of someone's appearance. On top of the unprofessionalism and badgering, the service she performed was not good. She left hair all around the brows, and my eyebrows look uneven. But again, I was so uncomfortable--all I wanted was to get out of there. As a woman, you do not demean other women for the sake of upselling. It's WRONG AND DISRESPECTFUL. I hope the owner steps in and offers training to this employee because the whole experience was unexpected and unacceptable. I now feel self-conscious about my uneven eyebrows and will not ever be returning, because as a service provider and human, you should be treating everyone with respect. I have been a customer for years. Not sure I will be back. I have had my eyebrows threaded by everyone who works there (anita, para, and previous employees) and recently, para and anita have aggressively passionate conversations with each other WHILE threading people. It feels extremely unprofessional, rude, and unnecessary. I could understand if it happens every so often but it happens every time I go in now. How hard is it to respect your client during the 5-10 minutes that they come in to receive a service? It really gives off the impression that they're not focused. and it makes an already uncomfortable experiencing even more uncomfortable (since threading is slightly painful). I've also noticed the work they're doing is not as strong as it used to be. I constantly find pieces of hair they failed to remove, or I leave with uneven eyebrows. read more

I got my brows waxed here, and it was super quick and easy. I walked in an hour before closing with. I appointment and was out of there in less than ten minutes with great looking eyebrows. I got my brows threaded, and while painful as usual, it wasn't as bad as other places I've tried. They look nice, but not the cleanest I've ever seen them. However, I can't complain, since the shape is very well done. The woman who threaded my brows (apologies, I forgot her name!) was quick, and while not particularly nice, she wasn't rude at all, either. I have been coming here for a few years and they were doing a great job. Last 3-4 times, they have been inconsistent and last time in particular, the person doing my eye brows (Anita) threaded my brows in a weird, embarrassing shape and made them way too dark by leaving on the solution longer than she should. The staff is the same and didn't change, so I'm not sure why their quality went down. I decided to give this place one last try and this time, I got attitude from the owner, Para, for pointing something out. I decided I won't be going back. Finally, she accidentally squeezed the solution into my eye and I rushed to the bathroom with a burning eye. Instead of apologizing, she said it was my mascara. Additionally, they have become very pushy by trying to get you to do add ons. Quick note on hygiene: it is lacking, but I always just asked them to disinfect my chair before I sit. Otherwise they don't disinfect in between clients. read more

And Anita is also wonderful, they are all very talented and great with the thread!! Sometimes I thread my forehead too which helps the brows pop more.
