DO NOT COME HERE FOR BODY WAXES. I came here to get my first Brazilian done last minute because my apportionment at a different place was cancelled. I called beforehand and they said they could do both my friend and I's Brazilian waxes. The ladies were super friendly, but the one person that I got did not know how to wax!!! I asked her how long she's been waxing and she said she was a laser specialist. She clearly didn't know what she was doing. Super unprofessional!! She was just putting wax in random places and it was not a clean wax. They also use soft wax and strips which causes a lot more irritation. I left with so much wax residue on my skin so it was super sticky and I had to try and remove it myself at home. There is also A LOTTTTTTT of hair left, and she didn't even do a butt strip. There is so much hair left it doesn't even look like I got waxed. There is no way i could just put on a bikini without shaving on top of this mess. Since this was my first time I didn't know too much, but i was extremely confused when she didn't do the butt strip but I assumed that maybe they don't at this place. At the end, I asked how much and she said it was 45 and I said I am not paying that because I didn't get the full thing. My friend also got a Brazilian by a different girl after me, and she got the full butt strip and she got tweezed. There was also no wax residue on her at the end so I think it was just me who got the shitty lady. My friend had a better experience, but you shouldn't commit to a job you can't do. I should've paid zero dollars for this terrible experience. I wish the lady who did my friend also did me. Do not say you can do something and do it wrong and try to charge me full for doing half of the job. read more

I found this spot a few years back for brow threading, and I rediscovered them today for a lash lift and tint. It is a lengthy process (approximately 1 hour appointment), but it was very worth it. My natural lashes are long, but also very straight so I didn't want fake lashes and thought the lash lift would be the way to go. This really made my eyes pop. I don't get my brows threaded too often because honestly it feels like a small torture having each hair ripped out one by one, but the boy has crazy thicc caterpillar brows and the other threading place in town doesn't do males. I decided since I was already there I might as well do it. There were only 2 people working at the time but the wait wasn't too long. This place is usually my go-to for brow and lash services, though I try to only go three or four times a year for lash tint and lifts. The staff does a great job and are very patient when I start flinching when they are threading my eyebrows. The prices did go up a little bit, unfortunately. When I visited a couple of days ago, I asked for brow threading and lamination. It has been a couple of days and I think I got some sort of chemical burn. This isn't the first time i've had my eyebrows laminated, so I know I don't have any allergies to it. I did sign the waiver though, so I acknowledge that there may be possible issues. I was excited to learn that a location opened up in San Juan Capistrano, about a 10 minute drive from my house. I've been here on two occasions now, and have loved the experience both times. 1) The ladies really listen to you, and will offer suggestions (if you ask). I was asked if I wanted a clean up, or something else. I asked what she would recommend, and she said perhaps a little more shape. Awesome! My eyebrows look great. 2) They have a loyalty system. I just received $2 off -- that was nice. 3) Clean facility. 4) Ample parking. Both times I've come (most recently as yesterday), everything has been great! Today I went in and got a lash lift and tint. I live lash lifts, but the last couple of times I've had them, they didn't look great because my eyelashes were too short to notice a difference. I told her this when I first got there and she made eyelashes exist where there weren't any. Amazing. Took some time processing, but I'm always tired, so I didn't mind. The reason why I am writing this review is because I was very happy with the service that I received here today. Not once, did the person doing my eyebrows hurt me. Yes, getting your eyebrows threaded is not the most painless experience. This time though, I felt almost no pain whatsoever. I feel that if someone is going really hard on your eyebrows and hurting your eyelids, then they have no idea what they are doing. Here, they did not hurt my eyelids at all. They were slower, and more precise with what they were doing to my eyebrows. The atmosphere of the salon was actually very modern and beautiful. They have nice lighting, cute couches, and wall accents. These touches, make the salon very comfortable and beautiful. I would definitely recommend this place to any of my friends. Parking gets a little confusing but they are upstairs and there is plenty of parking. It's in the same plaza as Starbucks. They took my appointment right away and I had lots of waxing to do . Mala took care of me and she is not only amazing with how she waxes .... I am not kidding when I say it did not hurt! I anticipated it but she was quick and efficient. I did my nose too. First time getting my eyebrows done since COVID began, so my eyebrows were worse for wear to say the least. I did what i could voy tweezing, but there is nothing like getting a professional to clean and shape them up. I was so excited to find my perfect brows because i could get my eyebrows threaded and get a lash lift. I made an appointment through yelp for Saturday morning and they were not busy. I was seated right away and they started on my eyebrows. Luckily it wasn't too painful. And then she moved onto my lash lift. I had previously gone to another salon in Dana Point. I have pretty thick eyelashes and they do not hold a curl so I was curious to see how they would hold up after this treatment here. The whole process took about an hour for both my eyebrows and eyelashes. I am three days out and wow - my eyelashes look great! Definitely better than the last place i went to. They have not died down and the curl has stayed. I could not recommend this place enough. And to boot, they are much cheaper than the other salon and much nicer (at the other salon you're seriously just paying for the "aesthetic") I did not catch the name of the woman that did my eyelashes and eyebrows. But she was so nice and so attentive and super quick. I will definitely be back! read more
