Ordered the monster burrito and the sausage burrito for breakfast. The monster is definitely worth it . Just wish I got it smothered with green chili. It has green chili inside but smothering would put it over the top. Would recommend read more

I had never been to this restaurant before and called to place an order of 25 burritos for my team. The gentleman who answered was patient and respectful while taking my order and answering my questions. I asked if the burritos could be cut in half, and he let me know they were busy so it might take a little longer. I told him I didn't mind waiting. About 3 minutes later, I called back to add 5 more burritos, bringing the total to 30. This time a woman answered, and her tone was noticeably dismissive. When I asked to add to the order, she replied, "Yes, but we won't be able to cut them. We're too busy." I explained that cutting them was important and that I was more than willing to wait, but she refused. I told her I'd need to cancel the order, and she laughed and asked, "Why?" After explaining again, she suddenly agreed but said it would take an additional 15 minutes. I had no issue with that and confirmed the order. When I arrived, I could hear her cussing in the kitchen which didn't bother me as it wasn't cussing at anyone but it was talking about a 50 burrito order, and the gentleman preparing the order seemed rushed. I reassured him there was no hurry, tipped 20%, and thanked him for taking care of it. However, when I got to the job site, none of the burritos were cut despite the confirmation. Although my team enjoyed the food, I wouldn't return because of the inconsistency, lack of honesty, and poor customer service. My stars 1for cleanliness 2 team enjoyed the burritos 3/5 read more

Great service and polite people. I love their breakfast selection. I normally get a take out but it has basic seating inside with option for outdoor seating in summer. Their new phone number is (303) 848-2994 read more

Las Palmeras - Menu - Dec 2024 - Mexican Near Me - Longmont, Colorado

Ordered a bacon breakfast burrito and it was awesome! Service was quick and friendly, they were busy and kept things moving efficiently. The space was clean and had plenty of seating. I ordered to-go, but I would dine-in if I had the time. read more

the food here is great and the staff are super friendly. good vegetarian options too if you ask!

I have been going to some version of Las Palmeras since moving to Longmont in the late 1990s. They have always given quality food. I will also never forget how they helped us during the pandemic with their family style meals. I have been through a lot in the decades that this family run business has been around. I've never been disappointed in a meal and I've always been grateful that they exist. read more

Delicious food and good service. Open good hours, breakfast is a go to. Definitely worth waking up for

Everything I have had at this place is awesome. Their breakfast burritos are tasty and cheap. My favorite dish is probably their sopes with adovada or carnitas. I've been working there for the last six months and I've probably been there 20 times highly recommended read more

Love this place Great food always tastes wonderful! Friendly staff! Great prices! They separated my meal on the separate plates. so my torta did not get soggy! Very thoughtful read more

Best breakfast burrito in town in my opinion! Service is quick. The tortilla is fresh, soft, and chewy. The medium is fairly spicy to me, so I tend to opt for the mild. read more

Had to rate one star just to be able to post review it doesn't deserve not even one star!!! NOT AN AUTHENTIC MEXICAN RESTAURANT! Came expecting authentic good Mexican food. Came and first off staff was not to friendly, never welcomed us or even said hello. The different Aguas frescas were not fresh at all but from the fountain machine. We then paid and received our food which to our surprise was not what we expected. We ordered a shredded beef burrito and received ground beef, let the staff know in which asked if we wanted another burrito... obviously being we ordered shredded beef not ground beef. Second burrito was made within two minutes!!! Upon receiving second burrito it was the exact same thing. Also ordered a chicharrón burrito where chicharrón was beyond hard and out hard shell tacos were the exact same meat they used to make burritos. Definitely not worth paying it even taking the time in coming here. Had to rate one star just to be able to post review it doesn't deserve not even one star!!! read more

Best burritos in longmont. Can't get a better breakfast but don't delay or your favorite protein may be sold out

My favorite taco place when visiting my mom. Taqueria Las Palmeras makes their tacos to order so they are always fresh. Friendly service and fair prices. read more

An ideal spot for a no-thrills meal that is still packed with tons of flavor and spice-and all for a great price. I got some awesome tacos, a variety of different types of meat, for about $8 which is a steal. Recommend for a quick bite during the work day and hope to stop back in some time soon for a breakfast burrito! read more

This is such a special place. My dad and I come here together at least once a week when I am in town to get a smothered, hot green chile breakfast burrito. By far the best green chile in Longmont (maybe in all of CO)! read more

All around very good! Ambiance is delightful...service was excellent. Food was very good and it's a good bang for the buck

Very tasty food but NOT cheap like everyone else said. I ordered a burrito and it was $15...that ain't cheap! Not to mention they charge extra for salsa. Pinche mierda! Todos los taquerías en California dale salsa gratis y escabeche con zanahorias y jalapeños. Dale salsa gratis por favor mi amor! read more

Thanks for being there every morning. What is there not to like about this place? Fast, friendly, great tasting, and inexpensive.

We bought 10 little tacos which were pretty good, and one mild smothered burrito. When we got home my husband started to eat the burrito and realized it was the extra hot sauce. He returned with it and told the young man behind the counter who argued with him stating it was mild. When he finally agreed to remake the burrito with mild sauce he stepped around the corner out of view which left us all concerned as to what he was actually putting in or on the burrito. When my husband returned home the mild sauce was perfectly fine. Be careful of the young kid that works there he is not friendly and could be spitting in your tacos. read more

Disclaimer: I can only speak for the breakfast burritos here. they are very good! I would take one from here over the more well-known Colorado Mexican chain any day. The downside to this place is the people/service. Not very friendly at all. And when I called to order a number of burritos to take to work with me, no one answered the phone. The guy covered in hickies at the front counter did not have any apology to that either. I will probably go back since the food was decent at a decent price. read more

We have probably eaten here at least 20 or more times in the last 2 years. I absolutely LOVE the $2 breakfast burritos! Another favorite are the Tacos Adovada. If you get 5 tacos you get a free bowl of spicy bean soup. I am not sure what the soup is called or even what all is in it, all I know for sure is that it's delicious! Very good prices. I haven't tried many of the other menu items because I just stick to what I already know I love. This is not a fancy place but it's clean and priced right, excellent choice for fast Mexican food. read more

Love their breakfast burritos. For $2.50, you can't go wrong. Lots of different choices of ingredients vs Santiagos. Friendly staff and quick service. read more

Always loved the breakfast burritos here, this used to be my "go to" place for burritos. Over time the quality went down, but I still kept going in. Staff not friendly at all. This past time I found a hair in my meal, which I was eating at the actual restaurant, but didn't even want to bother telling the staff about it, I knew I'd get some sort of attitude for finding a short black hair in my food that was clearly not mine. read more

We were craving Mexican food on Sunday and found that this place was open - and we couldn't be happier. This is now our new go to Mexican food spot. The woman who took our call in order was incredibly friendly and when we called back to ask that our chili be on the side so our food wouldn't get soggy before we got home they were more than accommodating. Our food was delicious and huge portions, my husband had the hot chili and I ordered the medium -- so good (SO hot!) I definitely recommend this place - MAJOR plus that they're open until 2:00 on Sunday! read more

Las Palmeras - two plates of food - Mexican Near Me - Longmont, Colorado

I go there a lot I work across the street so it's convenient for me the food is good I love the refried beans, it's just the gentleman behind the counter it just seems every time I walk in the door I get these glares from him and I'm not really sure what I've done I order anyways but every single time I've walked in the door he gives me dirty looks, I see him talking to other customers he's very friendly with most of them but is never said hello to me never greeted me and if he's at the register he walks away and has another person service me, you would think a mom and pop place like this would greet every individual equally but some don't read more

Cheap, amazing Mexican food. Breakfast burritos are my go to. They come with potatoes, eggs and your choice of bacon, ham, chorizo, plain or pico. I usually go with pico because it adds a great flavor and is healthy. This is a Longmont institution that I hope is around for a very long time. Breakfast burritos are 2.50 before 11AM, after 11 they are 3.50. read more

Breakfast burritos! The place is kind of a hole in the wall... but the breakfast burritos are great... always jumping in the morning! Teachers from nearby schools all come by almost every day! read more

Came in here with a work group and while this place is cheap for lunch my order was bland. For the price I can't complain. I left full and it only cost me 7 bucks for 3 fish tacos. But they were pretty bland. All of my work group except one said the same thing. Not enough spices used or something. The one guy who was truly happy with his meal got the smothered burrito and I have to admit that thing looked good. So if you want a cheap, filling lunch this is the place for you. read more

I love Palmeras! Great hot green chile--the best cure for a cold. Their breakfast burritos are amazing: a hot green chile breakfast burrito with pico. Heaven. Their bean, cheese, and chile burrito (handheld) is another go to. read more

I live down the street, and have been a fan of Las Palmeras across town for years. I was excited when I saw they were putting in a taqueria on Francis. I have enjoyed everything I've tried - the tortas, burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas & tacos are all good. The guacamole and salsas are fresh and flavorful. I have always enjoyed great service when I go there, and I look forward to my next visit. read more

I give this place no stars. Poor customer service, disgusting fountain pop, no ranch, no flavor, nasty ass tortas, soggy ass fries and overall the worst lunch I ever had! Do not eat here if you appreciate good Mexican food!!! read more

The $2.50 breakfast burritos are excellent. I had the chorizo and bacon with the hot green chili and boy were they good! The employees were very professional and friendly and they turned around our order within a few minutes. I haven't tried their lunch or dinner menu yet but I would bet it wouldn't disappoint. read more

Not real impressed. Although I had a nice, friendly interaction with the ladies behind the counter and the restaurant appeared clean and tidy, I've had much, much better Mexican take-out. I had the "handheld" barbacoa burrito which lacked flavor, perhaps from being over-powered by the flavor of grease that pooled in the bottom of the tin foil and eventually seeped out and onto my pants... it took quite a while to get that taste out of my mouth. Based on the previous reviews, I'm willing to go back to try the breakfast burrito, but I won't be racing back for the lunch/dinner menu anytime soon. read more
