They had a stain at the bottom of one leg that other dry cleaners either missed or couldn't remove. Island Dry Cleaners got it out without any issue. Every piece was also crisply pressed. The service was fast and friendly. I dropped everything off Tuesday morning and received a text notification Wednesday late morning saying my clothes were ready for pickup -- a full day earlier than expected. Update* I got a call from the store, they apologized for not taking a closer look at my cloth and refunded me my money and gave me a gift card. The first was my son's custom tailored mens suit jacket that had been worn only once. Tide gave us someone else's jacket, same color and brand but an older style and different material. it took a week just to convince them it was not ours. My son had an event he was required to wear a suit to and had to wear only his dress pants, shirt and tie. The customer service was terrible, had to speak with several different managers over a period of weeks. The fact that I had to prove we did not get our jacket was ridiculous. In the end, Tide would only cover part of replacing the jacket since it was not "new" (it was worn once) nor would the cover the cost of tailoring the replacement jacket. Just a few weeks ago they lost one of my husbands shirts. Like the jacket, they sent it home with someone else. It took 3 weeks for them to locate it and return it, and I received no communication from them when they found it. I just happened to stop by to check on it. Do not trust them. They are sloppy and have truly terrible customer service when there is an issue.

In fact, she shared her history of skill and passion for sewing, and she was very experienced in alterations like mine. This woman is a lifelong teacher and one of those artistic gems we never find nowadays - she worked magic. The outfit was meant to wear with no undergarments (it had a built in bra etc.) and frankly it didn't suit my body at all. She was able to detach the built in coverage, change the placement of the clasps, and the whole ensemble (an ornately adorned two piece) fit like a glove!!! She quoted me tentatively, unsure she could meet my needs, but the end price was far less than I expected. I would go to Sandi for all my tailoring needs. Please support small local businesses!
