I just called to make an appointment for my annual check up. I've been seeing this doctor since 2007 I'm a loyal customer. I was told that I have to pay $39 out-of-pocket for diagnosis and imaging of my eyes. I've never had to do this in the past. It appears the doctor is trying to bill the insurance and required that I do this diagnosis. I don't have any medical conditions and my eyesight is OK. I am not happy with the rep that I spoke with today. Therefore, I will go somewhere else. read more

Nice office with friendly staff. The day my husband and I went there was a bit of a wait but the optometrist and our and let us know she was behind due to an emergency. We were both seen for our exams shortly after. We just would have appreciated being told about the fee for the retina exams of$39 each. I have gone back and picked glasses and I am waiting for them to arrive but overall not too bad of an office. read more

I was asked to update the review. So I finally got my contact lenses and then finally got my glasses after calling many times. But then their billing department forgot to bill my insurance so when I was charged at the optometry office I was charged entirely. My insurance called and said hey we paid for the fitting what about the materials and that's how I found out I paid out of pocket for everything. Yes everything was fixed but 80 percent of my time spent here was hunting down glasses, trying to get the right contact lenses, talking to my insurance carrier, talking to their office to get things resolved. Service was great but they charge a 39$ image fee. This fee was a doctor policy that is mandatory for images of your eye that are not necessary unless you actually have something wrong with your eyes and I was only in for an annual check up. Beware of this optometrist they will tell you your insurance does not cover things that it does so you will pay and they will also charge your insurance. I only caught on to this when I received My detailed bill from Davis they suck poor customer service and they do not want to fix this situation I will be reporting them to my insurance and telling everyone I know in the antelope valley to not do any business with them they have really gone down hill since the pandemic they lost a customer today for sure! Non-caring Keren did not care at all, She was not helpful and made me feel small. She couldn't see the problem that was staring her in the face, her bad attitude quickly left me with a bad taste. Manager was super nice but the company has something things in play that makes the system a little broken I originally purchased frames and lenses from them in September and it took til February to get the correct lenses which isn't the staffing fault although I will say when I went to go pick them up they told me I hadn't paid and didn't believe that I paid in full the day I ordered them til I showed them a bank statement which did upset me and wouldn't give me a refund on something I didn't get (polarized lenses which in the end I didn't get) they said the manager had to be present which I understand but if the manager is going to be out for awhile there should be an assistant manager who can act on her behalf while she's out. Staffing does not know how to de escalate a situation at all in-fact I would go as far to say that one particular employee likes to escalate. Long story short I still haven't received my refund because they are saying I need the original card which I no longer have because I just moved to California from Oklahoma and switched banks in this time. I have lupus and get very sick all of the time and this has also been made clear and not once did the manager try to reach out to me about my experience. I will say that my glasses are very nice though out of every place I have ever shopped at in my entire life this has been the worse experience I have ever had. read more

My daughter had her vision start becoming fuzzy about six months into the prescription that we received from Lancaster Optometry. Her mother took her in and received an updated prescription on 12/28/19. My daughter wanted to keep the current frames and we were told that this wouldn't be a problem that they would cut new lenses and just replace the existing lenses. We paid for the lenses at that time. Fast forward to the start of the pandemic lockdown in March (2.5 months later) still no lenses and now the lens cutting machine at the office is broken so they need to send the lenses out to be cut. No problem, we're in the middle of a pandemic and things take a little longer. So fast forward again to 7/28/20, still no lenses. I call to find out what the heck is going on and am repeatedly told "the machine broke we have to send the lenses out to be cut." So they haven't even processed the order yet. Ask to speak to a supervisor and again am told that they need to send the lenses out. The whole time, not one person actually can say what the hell happened. So now after paying for new lenses and not receiving them, I have to obtain a new prescription, a new dr's appointment, and new glasses. I really hope that they do not want any future business from me. Update - Reply - Whatever, Let's see... we were in back in December to have the lenses redone. Here we are in August. But yeah, still blame your lack of service on Covid. I hung up after telling you that we had the issue resolved by another provider. And my receipt shoes that I paid $60. That receipt is in the hands of the Bureau of Optometry with the Department of Consumer Affairs. Which I'm sure is what prompted your sudden flurry of contact when your people refused to address the situation. But good try. read more
