Wow! This doctor is as good as it gets. She utilized technology that many doctors in her field have never even heard of. I was shown a complete in color, the front and back of my eyes. The doctor also displayed and explained in great detail every small line and dot that existed in my eyes on a television like screen. You are given options if you do not want your eyes dilated. read more

I have been going to this optometrist for a few years. This morning I called to set an appointment and was told that my daughter didn't need to be seen because it hadn't been two years. Umm... first off don't tell me she doesn't need to be seen. You don't even know what is going on. I let the girl on the phone know that our insurance did allow for yearly vision visits. I was then told that if I wanted to have a Saturday appointment I would need to put done a deposit. Not sure what happened to this place but they need to train on customer service. read more

I was so pleased with Lancaster Optometry. I called on Tuesday morning I was pleasantly surprised to be able to book an appt for myself and my son for the following afternoon. Upon walking in we were greeted by two gals that ended up being very helpful. We were seen by the Dr in a timely manner. She did not rush our appts took her time with both of us . I have been to many different offices in the AV for eye care over the years of living in the AV and this will be our new annual location. Picking out the glasses was quite simple too. There were many to choose from. I ended up leaving after picking out 2 pairs of glasses because there were so many choices. They carry Ray Ban, Oakley, Dragon, Michael Korrs, Bebe & many more. I had to go back to this place 2x in one day because of a miscommunication regarding a contacts appointment. It wasn't disclosed to me that an exam to get contacts requires two different appointments. I also chose a pair of lenses as part of a promotion but never received them nor did I receive a call letting me know they were available for pick up. That's weird, right? Updated -- Removing 1 star because Lancaster Optometry called my emergency contact, claimed not to have my phone number (even though I wrote it on the patient profile sheet) and then gave him my lenses as part of the promotion. They never should've released anything that belonged to me to my emergency contact without my permission. A huge violation of privacy in my opinion. read more

Awful. Don't waste your time. They only have one doctor who overbooks herself entirely. I showed up 15 mins early to my apt, only to have waited 25 mins without being called back and it was only 25 mins because that's when I decided I had enough and left. Had I stayed, it probably would have been longer. People kept coming in after me, being called back after me, and then told that the doctor was a bit behind. And I hadn't even been seen yet. This doctor also told me the prescription I had was "over corrected" and I assured her there's no way, I've had the same prescription for 10 years and see perfect with my glasses. At one point she claimed I had 20/20 vision. Eyes don't just correct themselves. I've seen many optometrists and none of them have claimed my prescription was any different. She ended up having me try out contacts that WERENT my prescription, but a weaker one. They did not help, as expected. I wasted my time AND money. Also, the girls at the front desk are rude and immature. All one of them did was talk crap about difficult patients she had in the past, or when she'd hang up with a customer she'd talk crap about them being difficult over the phone. Just things you don't say while people are waiting in the lobby for you to hear! I thought I could establish a new eye doctor because of new insurance and it looks like I'll be on the hunt for a new place. Never again. read more

The Dr. here is amazing. She is very thorough, caring and helpful. She takes time to listen to any issues you may be having and will do whatever she can to solve the problem. However, I don't think they are fully staffed. There should be another person helping at the front desk. Also, when I was ready to look at glasses one of the girls was very pushy in me selecting only a certain brand of glasses. There was a lady specifically there selling Coach and Versace glasses and she kept trying to get me to pick one of their glasses. I don't know why. Also she kept following me around and I didn't feel like I was able to just browse without pressure. I will still come here because of the Dr.. She is awesome. read more

I purchased eyeglasses Dec 2019. They unfortunately broke. I called the optometry office and was pleasantly told that they were still under warranty...so I got another pair for only $25. Plus, they were able to give them to me within an hour, they have a technician on site! read more

I loved my experience here! Very friendly staff and the Dr. Shaghoyan was so professional, honest and informational. I loved that I didnt have to dilate my eyes and instead opted for photos. The dr. throughly went through those photos and explained in detail what she was looking for and red flags. Once she had my proscription she wanted to test them in the "real world". We went into the hallway and she had me look at signs in natural light. She truly wants you to have the best possible vision. I am so happy that I found this office. Wonderful Dr. and Staff! I telephoned the office and was able to get an early appointment date and time. My daughter was experiencing headaches and both eyes hurting. I had an appt today at 12 noon for me and my husband, the place was closed and there were no voice mail for me to leave a message. Before that I had an appt on 12/5 and they said their computer system was in the process of transferring data, so I gave them another chance but this time I would never use them and will not recommend them! What Doctor place makes an appt with you and not open the place? This is unacceptable and really bad business!!
