Very bad service. I went in to try and get my Rayban Meta glasses repaired or replaced and they would not help me. I asked if they could take a look and they only recommended I call Meta. I was in this location yesterday looking at glasses when I heard the store manager talking down on associate to another associate loud enough for everyone to hear. I felt it was inappropriate and unprofessional. It made me uncomfortable I left. If said manager has an issue with one of their associates, they should pull them aside and speak to them privately and not to other associates. read more

I have change my lenses 5x paid 5 times and all those times same thing happened to my lenses i hardly use the glasses i even replaced my frame thinking it was the frame same thing happened never going back to this place i called and the manager careless he said my warranty was up andthere was nothing he could do about ut ,clearly they are using cheap lenses for the same thing to happen 5x ridiculous. When the glasses are ready to pick up, they don't give an eye test to see if the glasses are correct. they weren't. my son failed a required eye test shortly afterwards. i went back to them and they said i would have to pay again. Let me just say that I haven't had an eye exam in ten years and my experience was not that great, I have been wearing readers until I could get my eyes checked and they worked for a little while until they stopped working . The staff was nice and somewhat helpful!! I had to get progressive lenses mind you they had a special going on and out the door was still almost $700 And it was not like I got some high priced frames. They did not offer me the low end of the prices just automatically gave me a price and said that's what it was. After wearing them for a week I notice a glare in the left lenses in the corner I could actually see behind me if you were standing there, I got upset because I paid so much you expect to get quality not to mention to not have something getting in the way of your eyesight, it's so distracting.. Did I mention I got the anti glare! "New meaning to eyes in the back of your head" I went back and they put in a ticket order and I brought up why I paid so much and they ended up refunding me a little of my money back and sent in for new lenses, I had to wait 2 weeks all for them to still be the same... read more

Parking: Plenty of parking in this shopping plaza. Glasses: they have a large variety of ray bans if that is your brand Exams: there's always a slot for eye exams. You can also walk in. Which is why I always opt to come here. Service: some people here at the counter service does not seem very friendly, and they'll make you wait long time even if you just need to pay. read more

The workers here need to learn how to communicate with one another. I called and gave my insurance information to see if I would have a copayment for a contacts re-examination. The guy over the phone said I wouldn't and if I did it would only be $10-20. Okay. Showed up to my appointment and they charged me $70! The customer service here is like going to the DMV-- taking my business to ClearView going forward. They are pretty close by. Never coming to LensCrafter again. Really bad customer service and really long wait times when you come in for your eye exam. I got a pair of $600 sunglasses from them and 2 months later had a problem with the frame and they said there's no warranty on the products they sell. The discount that was offered at the store level is still available. Alternatively, plano lenses are available with our warranty repair department. They can be reached at 800-343-5594. Thalia served us and was fabulous, so I'd want her helping me, too, if selecting glasses. She helped Mr. Picky by running around the store and finding frames that were close to what he wanted, and then once we decided, she very clearly explained all the options and differences in vision when making those choices. Dr. Healy: Was very gruff and unfriendly. He was angry that I couldn't read the eye chart. He also mentioned that my new glasses were not much better than my old ones. Why didn't he do something to correct the problem? Also, he wanted me to make an appointment to have cataract removal. He didn't even bother to explain to me what cataracts were. He didn't even ask me if they were actually affecting my eyesight. What kind of doctor does that? In my opinion Dr. Healy was very unprofessional. Is he really a doctor? Avoid him and go to Dr. Kim. This was the most professional, courteous, and knowledgeable staff of any LensCrafters that my wife and myself have ever seen. They had no problems answering all of my questions concerning the frames and lenses that both me and my wife wanted. It did not take all day long to get into get the eye exam. We were there for 15 minutes and picked our glasses when we were called to take the eye exams. I was able to pick my glasses up that day and have a 1 year insurance coverage against damage to my glasses. My wife's glasses had to be specially made because of the lenses that she wanted. We picked them up today 03/14/2023 and she got a 1 year insurance coverage for her glasses as well. read more

I was glad they were open, and glad they had the frame I needed to fit the glasses I had, but my frame broke, I wanted to keep my lens. So when the lady tried to get the lens in the left side of the new frame, the lady pushed and forced the frame onto the counter top over the lens gouging the lens. I did not know this when I put them on because my left eye is fully blind. I was cleaning the lens later and felt the gouge in the lens. This is a matter of who do they think they are? The lens has a big mark on it and other people say, "Hey you got a mark on your glasses" I then have to go into the story of being blind, or patronize them and wipe off my glasses. They were not polite at the time either. They seemed to have COVID attitudes. Now less than a yr. later the frame and temple screw falls out and I really do not want to go back there. I've had good service in the past from them. But today, I received a call telling me that Oakley has discontinued the frames I had and that I would have to buy new frames!! All I wanted was to have my new prescription lenses put in. But was told that since Oakley had discontinued the frames, that they wouldn't be able to replace the lenses. So now I'm supposed to fork out more money to buy new frames even though the old ones are in mint condition. The supervisor told me that it wasn't LensCrafters fault but Oakley's. But my argument is why are they selling a product where they first have to send back to the manufacturer to have the lenses put in instead of having it done at the store. No one mentioned that to me when I first bought the frames. Secondly, why did they not disclose that frames do get discontinued and we may have to buy new ones. It just sounds shady. Oakley will continue to make money every time they discontinue a frame of theirs because people will be forced to new ones. Either way we lose out while the store and manufacturer get richer. I have had nothing but problems this year with the glasses that I have purchased from Lenscrafters. A pair of glasses that I purchased in December 2011 broke a about a month ago. This is the second pair this year. I take good care of them so the only reason for them breaking is that they must be poorly made. When I just went to pick up the replacement glasses that I had to pay for, I was told that I could not take my old pair with me so that I could have as a back up. I went through 2 managers and even though that couldn't produce anything in writing that showed this policy they still kept my glasses. I called to make an appointment to have my glasses repaired and was told to just walk in. Once I got there I was told to wait outside due to the many people already in the room. When the weather is hot outside, its not easy standing out with a mask, waiting in a line. Once I was in the establishment, I was asked to stand against a wall to wait for someone to assist me. Yes, I saw that they were extremely busy, but an appointment would have helped with that. Once I was seen, I was told that my $500 glasses could NOT be fixed, that I could buy a new pair. They're only 2 years old. And she didn't even really look at them. Just that I had the arm in my hand. I realize that with a mask on, I can't see if someone is smiling, but I can tell with their tone when they're not. I was not greeted kindly, was not helped graciously, and was sent away without any assistance. I went around the corner and got the best service. They contradicted themselves many times with their policies and didn't even have the inventory they said they did, trying to pass off tortoise shell as black. The customer service was fantastic. One of the employees helped me pick a very flattering pair of glasses and let me take as long as I needed. My glasses fit well and were done quickly-- 5 stars there. However, when the vision exam was done, the optometrist was giving me some general tips about eye strain, rather than mentioning a prescription. I asked if I had a vision problem, and she told me "yes, but I didn't think you needed to know". Well, the fact that my vision is blurry at a distance and was giving me a headache is a pretty good indicator of my need to know..It may be a 'mild' Rx, but it was still causing issues. Guess that wasn't good enough for her, though. Very annoying and somewhat unethical-- a patient is entitled to know their diagnosis. read more

This place is horrible. I made an appointment a month before my wedding and they day of my appointment they cancelled on me. The reason the doctor wasn't able to make it but they didn't even give me a solution just canceled and I tried to schedule another appointment but they weren't willing to fit me in the day after or a week after . They tried to rescheduled me a whole month later. Lol, i drove to Pasadena . They were able to schedule me in that same day.
