The appointments never feel rushed, and he makes sure everything is explained clearly, which I really appreciate. The staff is also excellent. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and very helpful from check-in through checkout. The office runs smoothly, and appointments feel well organized.

I rarely write reviews, but at this point I feel compelled to share my experience. I've been a…read morepatient here for years, but the level of customer service has seriously declined. I ordered a pair of glasses over a month ago and have been trying to get an update. The problem is that no one ever answers the phone. I've called at different times throughout the day--9 AM, noon, 3 PM--and every single call goes straight to voicemail. I've followed the instructions, left voicemails, and have never received a callback. It's incredibly frustrating when a business is impossible to reach, especially when customers are simply trying to get information about a prescription order they've already paid for. I understand offices get busy, but consistently sending callers to voicemail and never responding is unacceptable when this is happening on a daily basis. I hope management addresses these communication issues because the experience is nowhere near what it used to be. I Would not recommend this optometrist office.

I, on the other hand, have enjoyed absolutely fantastic results. Prior to my surgeries, I was 20/100 near-sight (corrected) in the right eye and 20/80 near-sight (corrected) in the left plus an astigmatism. Both my wife and I are tactical pistol/rifle/shotgun shooters. Before surgery I was unable to clearly focus on my pistol sights - whether open iron or red-dot. In fact, the 6 MOA circle on the red dot looked like a large fuzzy red ball the size of a large green pea, thereby obscuring anything larger than a center mass target at greater than several yards. I explained to Doc that I wanted maximum clarity in my strong-side right eye at arms length in order to be able to focus clearly on the open iron and red-dot sights, and that my left eye should be corrected for distant vision. I also explained that I also always shoot with both eyes fully open, regardless of the weapon used or shooting position. Doc then worked his ophthalmological magic adjusting for both near and far vision while also inserting a special astigmatism-correcting lense into my left eye. My binocular vision is now 20/20. I can now read a book, newspaper, or iPhone comfortably at 15" without reading glasses as well as see clearly at distance with both eyes in binocular vision. Reading exceedingly fine print font or carpentry tape dimensions of 1/32"/1 mm or less close up when performing fine work, still requires use of low-magnification reading glasses, but that's not a problem. Even more amazing is that my 6 MOA circular outline red-dot sight is now crystal clear/sharp. My front open tritium iron sight is also crystal clear, with the rear open iron sight just slightly out of clear focus exactly as it is supposed to be. Sight/target acquisition is extremely fast and does not in any manner slow my reaction times for either first or follow up shots whether when recovering from recoil or when moving off the "X" and re-setting onto the target or whenever engaging multiple targets. Interestingly, whenever switching over to my support side (I.e., "far-sight" corrected) eye when shooting around barricades on my left side, my left eye focus is only slightly less clear than my right (due in part at least to some remaining astigmatism which will be removed with a bit of laser surgery on my left cornea since my pre-cataract surgery astigmatism was greater than even the strongest astigmatism-correcting cataract implant lense could correct) "near-sight" corrected right eye. Sighting my the iron sights on my tactical rifles or shotguns, is just as easy and quick as with my pistols even though the open iron front sight is some 8" to 18" further distant compared to the front sights on my pistol ls. Similarly, the red-dot sights - even though I prefer a much smaller 1 MOA on long guns - is perfect both in clarity and in ease of first target acquisition as well as re-acquisition whether recovering from recoil or from moving off the "X and re-setting onto target or when engaging multiple targets. Scope retitles once adjusted for focus, are also clear. Doctor O is an ophthalmological genius!

Everyone of them were friendly, compassionate and really seemed to enjoy what they do and to like one another. This is very important when you are frightened.
