I live an hour away and I drive here just to see Dr. Ellis. I've tried going elsewhere but my eyes are tricky and he is the only one who can get my prescription right. As a bonus he is also for kind and patient and explains everything in a way I can understand. Talent plus interpersonal skills is what makes good doctors great! I just had my first eye exam with Dr. Ellis and I am extremely pleased with the care I was provided! Dr. Ellis was kind, caring, and genuine. He took the time not only to address my questions and concerns, but to make sure my prescriptions were a right fit, and that I was comfortable with my new prescription. His exams are very thorough, and he took the time to educate me on which glasses frames/styles and contact lenses would benefit me the most since my prescription was so high. This was the first time an optometrist has taken the time to do that, & I've been wearing glasses for over 20 years. The staff and office itself are equally amazing. Went over in extreme detail what my insurance would cover and not cover I show up for the appointment and they want me to pay $200 extra. Complete waste of my time Lost money leaving work early and the girl was extremely rude 6/8/2020 I was on the phone with someone in your staff for awhile while she checked my insurance. I also asked several times what was covered. I missed work to make the appt. The Covid excuse can only be used so much and how does that even come into play with me being given incorrect info by $200 more I would need to pay. Seems not to be a Covid issue. I was very clear and the girl even said it was okay I was asking such in-depth questions on what was covered and that I would walk out with an RX for contacts and glasses. Visited the office for the 1st time for an eye exam and I was extremely happy with the service. The front desk staff is welcoming, polished and organized. I was seen by Dr.Ly and she was professional, efficient and knowledgeable. I brought my daughter a few days later for her eye exam with Dr.Ly. She needed glasses and it was such a smooth process. Benefits as well as my out of pocket fees were explained by the optician and the glasses came back in a reasonable about of time. When my benefits were available for my materials I went back to order my own glasses and contacts and again they came back in a reasonable amount of time and are just what I wanted. If you're simply shopping for new frames, you're not allowed to shop here unless you're willing to give up personal information. I was not allowed to enter the site, unless I allowed them to scan my prescription first. When I questioned their invasive practice, the front desk staff (Jaime) decided to lie and imply that this is common practice. I've been wearing glasses for over 15+ years and I have never been asked to give up personal information before entering an optometrist. I wonder why they collect data? This place operates with extremely invasive practices. If you love freedom, avoid this place! read more

Well went in for an eye exam and contacts......husband glasses. Spent $450.00 there. 3 days later went back to get my contacts and ask the doctor to look at my eye that's been irritated since I had my exam there. They wanted to charge me $68 to look at my eye. What a joke read more

Dr. Gettas was so patient with me and took her time to make sure my RX was correct after I saw another "affordable" optometrist that I was unhappy with. Any bad reviews on here that are complaining about prices you need to think about how important your eye health and vision is, I would rather pay a little bit more and get it RIGHT the first time rather than trying to save money and end up wearing the wrong prescription.
