Reunion Rescue - Just a few of the thousands of dogs saved and helped over the years at Reunion Rescue

I believe this "rescue" is a scam. I have not been able to find any indication that they have…read moreadopted any dogs out. The amount of money they claim to have spent getting one of their dogs back from it's owner is inconsistently varies quite a bit. They have quite a few fundraising pages and are quick to pepper the internet with requests for donations. Their interaction with me was extremely suspect. I saw their dog, Nolan, on petfinder. When I emailed to ask about his availability, heartworm status and age, I was told he has to be adopted with their dog named, Lulu and I did not receive an answer about his current HW status. I asked for more information about Lulu. I found out that both dogs had been heartworm +, but Cindy Marabito wouldn't tell me if they had their vaccinations or had been cleared by a vet after their "holistic heartworm treatment." There was or is some kind of messy legal/custody battle over Lulu. Cindy wouldn't tell me if it had been sorted out. I had to ask: 4 times if they were fixed. I never got an answer, but Lulu's petfinder page now says she is spayed. 4 times if the legal problems with Lulu's custody were resolved. I still haven't gotten an answer. 3 times if they were now heartworm free. Finally Cindy claimed that Nolan was healed with raw and herbal diet/treatments. So I asked if she had verified with a vet that the treatments were successful. She refused to answer that too. 2 times if they were vaccinated, I never got an answer, but Lulu's petfinder page now says she is UTD on vaccines. Cindy sent this: "Both are raw fed and homeopathically treated, so would need to continue that lifestyle. Nolan was hw positive when we got him and totally cured with herbal..a raw fed dog treated with herbal will not become infected with hw or other parasites or disease..take a look at our website .... Health Page. It's amazing..none of our dogs go to conventional vets or ever get sick, get fleas, cancer, etc." I'm certainly not against raw or herbal, but this all just sounds like a scam or wingnut on the loose.

Heavenly Bulliez - Mia found her forever home! Thank you, Salinas Family San Antonio, TX

    Heavenly Bulliez

Serious concerns about integrity, professionalism, and false advertising…read more Our experience with Heavenly Bulliez has been deeply disappointing. Gloria broke multiple written promises -- changing the agreed pickup location at the last minute for her convenience, failing to deliver the full paid $100 "upgrade package," and refusing to mail items she confirmed were "on the way." After one puppy developed a growing mass which requires surgery (identified one day after purchase) and was examined by our licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of purchase as contracted, she dismissed the documentation and attempted to disown her own health guarantee. Despite the bump being clearly visible and already noted by our vet within 72 hours, she later claimed she "never noticed" it prior to the sale -- a statement that calls her credibility and attention to her animals' health into serious question. Biopsy results for a potentially malignant tumor will be available after surgery. Her website and Google profile promote "authentic & healthy puppies," "responsible, caring breeding," and a "DNA health focus." The business even claims: "At Heavenly Bulliez, we are ethical, family-oriented breeders dedicated to preserving the rare Old English Bulldogge through authentic, double-registered puppies." In reality, the dam's DNA report -- withheld until 30 days after purchase and only provided upon payment after repeated requests -- revealed carrier status for multiple genetic disorders. No DNA results for the sire were ever provided. Her own messages confirm her dogs fall well below the breed's standard weight range, contradicting claims of "authenticity" and "preservation." She has also offered one of her designated breeding females for adoption, further undermining her claims of breed preservation and responsible care. She falsely claimed she "discounted" the puppies (we never negotiated) and even questioned our financial ability to care for them -- a rude and condescending ad hominem attack. Ironically, she continues to publicly discount unsold dogs, revealing that her supposed "courtesy discount" to us was neither unique nor truthful. I'm writing this review now because it's clear Gloria has no intention of honoring the contract. And in the midst of all this, she asked for a Google review -- so here it is. This isn't about money; it's about honesty. Buyers deserve breeders who honor their word and stand behind their animals, not gaslight their customers. Proceed with caution. All that said, we're grateful to have given these beloved dogs a safe, loving home -- even if their medical bills within the first three months may exceed the cost of the dogs themselves. Sadly, this appears to be a first-time backyard operation misrepresenting itself as an established, ethical breeding program. This review is based entirely on written communication (emails, text messages, website screenshots, and veterinary records). Every statement is supported by documented evidence. I'm certain her response to this review will further highlight her character.
