Save yourself a headache, Don't Bother with this storage facility! I rented a 10x15 unit from…read moreSeptember 30, 2015 until August 2019. Let me tell you the story! From September 2015 until June 2019 Jane and Larry ran this storage unit. I have no problem with either of these individuals, however in June of 2019 the storage facility was sold. Larry called me on June 28 2019 to inform me of the sale and when I asked Larry when and if the rates would change he assured me that "they wouldn't change right away". On July 7,2019 I received a letter dated June 30, 2019 that this was my 30 day notice that on August 1, 2019 my rent charge would increase from $130.00 to $150.00. I paid the August rent of $150.00 to give me time to secure another unit. I realized the new owners would have to increase the rent however I felt 15% was more than I thought the unit was worth. Considering the location and overall condition of the facility I knew I could do better. I found another more modern and convenient storage facility for less $$ and informed Larry I wouldn't be renewing for September and mentioned I would move out during the month and would like to keep access to the unit until the end of August to clean it out properly. I moved my property out on August 11, 2019 assuming I could return to sweep out the unit the following Sunday. As an afterthought I should have kept a lock on it. When I returned on August 18, 2019 I was allowed access to the property however my unit was double locked so I had no access to it. Larry was cutting the lawn so I approached him and asked why if I was paying for the month I couldn't get access to my unit to clean it out. It only need the dust swept out. He informed me he swept it out during the week and I shouldn't worry about it. When I inquired about the security deposit he told me I would receive it in about 60 days, as it states in the contract. It was $40.00. I said ok and left the premise. On Monday morning August 19,2019, I received a call from Larry stating I would lose my $40.00 security deposit because they considered me vacating the unit my final day. Larry told me "they are following the letter of the contract" I have a copy of the contract however I didn't read where it said that. I paid $150.00 for 11 days and lost a $40.00 security deposit for having dust on the floor of the unit that would have taken me 15 minutes tops to clean out. So for the money you milked me out of, you should use it wisely. Expect me to tell everyone who askes and all of my friends family and associates about how you thought more of a few dollars than a reputation. I know a lot about business, which is why I didn't squabble about the increase in the rent. I didn't see the value and decided to move on. My right to do so. Your inability to see the value in a phone call to me to clarify my intentions to clean it up will cost much more in PR than $40.00. I did occupy the space for almost 4 complete years. I did pay for the month of August in full and I thought it would be proper protocol to give 30 days notice instead of the 5 days required so you would have time to rent it for September 2019. They will not honor their quoted prices…read more I was given a quote for my unit of $99/month. Less than 2 months after I began renting I was informed that the price would be raised to $138/month, an increase of 40%. I asked them what could've possibly changed in 6.5 weeks to justify an increase of 40% and they couldn't said that every now a d then they perform a "unit audit" and determined that this is just the price now. Makes me think that $99/month was just a teaser rate to win my business before they jack the price to what they actually want to charge, because how on earth could a $99 rate be fair 2 months ago, but suddenly be so out-of-line that they need a 40% increase. I asked for it to be lowered cause it was in bad taste to refuse to honor their quote in such a short time period. They refused. I left a review here to inform others and suddenly they realized that maybe they shouldn't jack their prices by that much so quickly and returned my rate to $99/month. They asked me to "help them out with some reviews left online." Since they returned my rate I agreed and deleted the review. It's now 5 weeks later and they have once again jacked my rate, this time by a smaller amount, only to $109 (10% increase). A 10% increase is still pretty unreasonable seeing as it's only been just over 3 months since I first became a customer. Given the context they gave me with the "unit audit" to justify their rate increase, the fact that this increase is significantly lower tells me that this time around it wasn't some BS methodology, but a conscious decision to push the price the price closer to what they really want but in a manner someone will grudgingly allow. In other words, their methodology for determining the rate increase isn't actually from a unit audit, but rather is just "whatever this customer will let slide." Poor business practices. Honor your quoted prices. If you want to charge more, quote more. And if you need to increase the rate, think about how reasonable the increase is given the amount of time that has passed.

U-Haul gave us Astorga & Sons in a list of movers available in Greeley so we booked them to unload. After seeing that they were in Aurora I was concerned so I reached out to them. They were so helpful and said it wasn't a problem, they would happily unload the truck in Greeley. They arrived right on time and worked very quickly and carefully. Great guys. The door and unit seemed clean and in good condition. Access to the property is pretty nice - just country roads, so no driving a huge truck around city streets. They have many many ways to pay your bill, so there's no excuse for not paying. Terms of the lease seemed pretty standard for a storage place.
