The Carlson's team was really great. Our move date was changed more times than I could count due to our closing date.They were able to accommodate most of the dates, but were definitely able to accommodate our ultimate move date. We had a 5 man crew come out with 2x26' trucks and worked their butts off for 12 hours to finish our move before my son's bedtime. Everything was wrapped, including our stair railings to avoid scuffs. Before I knew it, the entire house was moved in and the beds were put together. I was exhausted just watching them work. I doubt we will move again, but if we do, we are calling Jessica. read more

Normally I would give five stars in that they do expert moving however this last move was horrible! they put everything into 2 small trucks which took a lot more time and added another person, without letting us know beforehand- The cost was almost $1000 more than what we had expected! so buyer beware!!! Needless to say we will not ever use them again or recommend them! read more

I can't say enough about Carlson's Custom Interiors! Dan, Jessica, James, Chris, Rick, and Trevor ... What a team!!! We used them for a move into storage when we staged our home for sale; they were fantastic! We had them back to move the rest of our household goods into storage for three weeks before our new home was finished...and the again when we moved 2 truck loads of belongings into our new home. We've made a lot of moves and I have to say, the crew Carlson's I put together is top-notch. They don't just do their job, they do it with a great can-do attitude. Set up a move for this morning - the team of movers called me around 8:45 to let me know they were on time and showed up within the half hour. My place was packed up and cleared out within 40 minutes and the whole job (move from lodo to lakewood) took about 2 hours. Items moved: Full sized bed/box frame, dresser, night stand, end table, 2 couches, coffee table, 2 barstools and a half dozen boxes/bins. Would definitely recommend for a local move. read more

We have moved many, many times, but this was our very first time deciding to hire a moving company. Being new to denver, trying to find a company that was going to be very good and reliable seemed hard. We decided to go with carlsons custom interiors based on all of the good reviews and were very glad that we did. Josh b and j.t were our 2 movers who showed up. Even though we are in a 2 bedroom apt, we have lots and lots of stuff. I was almost positive there was going to be extra ti.e needed beyond the original estimate. These guys were great. These guys worked hard the whole time and never stopped and moved us out and into the new place in just under 5 hours. We will be getting a house next year and without a doubt will be hiring these guys again. read more

I have moved many times and this was the worst moving company that we have used so far. They scuffed up 2 pieces of furniture, broke 2 plastic bins, and put a gash in my BRAND NEW wood floors when they dropped my sleeper sofa on it. When we called Carlson to have someone come and take a look at the mark to see what could be done to fix it, they never showed up. They also lost 2 items. We only moved 4 miles across town, so I'm not sure how you lose anything. The few good things I have to say is that they were on time and efficient. The whole move only took 3 hours to go from an apartment to a 3 story townhome (lots of stairs!). Our move date also kept changing due to a closing date that kept getting pushed and they worked with us to get us moved on the date we needed. However, the bad far outweighed the good on this move. read more

Carlson Custom Interiors is fantastic! I would definitely recommend this small local moving company. They are far better than any other moving companies I had ever delt with in the past. They were prompt on showing up on time, they immediately got started, they didn't even stop for breaks, and they were in constant communication through the entire process. Last minute, When I was looking for movers for the very next day to help me move heavy things, they immediately got back to me via email with a phone number to call them any time. It was very late and I called them expecting to leave a message and to my surprise they answered my phone call and we set up an appointment for the next day. They helped us move in a bad snow storm and they did a great job covering my items with lots of their blankets so my things didn't get ruined or delicate items wouldn't get broken in the snow storm. They overcame the challenge of 2 houses with small or awkward door entries with big items. Nothing was ever broken or ruined. They defently know what they are doing and are very professional. Because of the snow and because I wasn't ready to move my freezer in my house just yet, I had plans on leaving the freezer outside and covering my tall freezer with tarps myself and they surprised me and covered my freezer for me before I ever had a chance to do so. That was very thoughtful and awesome of them. They are a friendly and respectful and fun crew. Very strong men! They went above and beyond for me including taking down a huge heavy wire shelving which is ment to take down and put back together, moving a old couch out so my new couches can come in, and shoveling my walk way with my husband. Now that's great customer service! Considering a bad snow storm was happening during this move they did a fenominal job and got the job done quickly within 3 hours. They are also very affordable and slightly cheaper per hour than the other big companies. I couldn't thank them enough for their help and if I ever move again, I will definitely hire Carlson Custom Interiors again! I recommend that you don't look for any other company to help you move just hire Carlson Custom Interiors! They are fantastic! read more

These folks were nothing short of amazing. I called and was able to get a quote over the phone, without having to take time off of work to meet someone at the house. The final cost was very close to the quote. (Jessica was nice enough to call me on a Sunday to get me the information I needed.) The movers arrived on time and called to let me know that they would be on time. They barely stopped for breaks (I was actually getting worried about them). I had A LOT of stuff for them to load, and they were very good at loading it. They were personable and helpful and made me feel at ease. They were incredibly fair on travel time, etc. and did not try to nickel and dime me. The guys at my house had a system for how to get things done, and it worked very well. They put together both beds that I had moved, after asking exactly where I wanted them. They offered to help me rearrange the extra stuff in my new garage. Not all of my items fit into the giant truck they brought so they offered to cut me a deal on travel time to go back for another trip. (They had moved all the extra stuff into the garage at the old house for me to make it easier to move the remaining items.) I cannot recommend these folks enough. They were respectful, kind and funny throughout the entire process, from quote to delivery. If I move again, I will hire them again without hesitation. read more
