I was able to rent a truck from Julie and Don and was very pleased with my experience. I've done several Uhaul truck rentals in my time (too many to count) and this was my first experience of having someone actually inspect the interior of the truck, noticed it wasn't clean, and swept it out for me. The cabin of the truck was impeccable (I didn't fear putting my purse on the floor!) and when I was finished Julie emailed me a receipt for my records - something I did not request, nor have I received in the past. When I did move my items into one of their storage units, they offered to reserve one of the elevators for me. This way, I wouldn't have to wait for the elevator each time (my unit is on the second floor). The floors are always clean, the trashes emptied. Even the woman who works on Julie and Don's day(s) off is knowledgable, efficient and pleasant. For those of us who do prefer good customer service, and are willing to go a bit farther out for it, this is your place. In reference to the first review, I live in Louisville with a storage place a half mile down the road. However, I chose this place because of its cleanliness and the personable owners (they know many of their renters by first name) The rental rates are competitive as well and you do not need to bring your own lock (as is the case with many other storage places) all units utilize cylinder locks. THE BEST storage facility in Boulder County, USA What can I say? It's climate controlled (about 66-70 degrees year-round), clean as an Army barracks before inspection, secure, with indoor access to units. Plus, it is staffed by an uber-friendly couple who live on-site, Their prices are competitive-- believe me, I called around to all the usual haunts in Boulder, Louisville and Lafayette. They were even cool when I downsized to a smaller unit a few months into my rental. I originally rented a 10x5, then after a few months of loading up my unit I realized I could stack my stuff more efficiently and save some money each month with a 5x5. They gave me a key to the smaller unit to check it out and test my theory. Later that afternoon after I had transferred my stuff successfully to the smaller place, I updated my rental agreement (with no hassle) and even got a pro-rated discount becuase I had paid for part of the month for the bigger unit. Very cool. They also have carts available and large service elevators if you happen to get a 2nd floor unit. Brill. A+ read more

I first rented a storage unit at Elite Storage in May 2011. The first one was a 5'x10'. Then I found a need for a 5'x5'. Later I combined the two into one 10'x10'. They have mailboxes available so I also receive my mail and most packages there. I mpved out of my 10'x10' unit in December 2016. It's only May of 2017 and I'm in need of a storage unit again. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. Julie and Don, the manager/maintenance couple, are both professional and friendly. Always ready to answer questions or help with any needs. Julie keeps all the reservations and records in order while Don keeps the grounds and facility so clean that you almost think no one ever goes in there except you. I also like that it is a climate controlled building so I don't have to worry about the extreme temperature changes here in Colorado possibly ruining my stuff. It's also very comfortable to be inside there. I don't know what else I can say a Elite Storage except that I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

Fellow Travelers I needed a place to store my home furnishings and art for a year, which has now turned into two, and after much research I found them to be the best in the Boulder area. The facility looks new and is kept extremely clean, they take great pride in this building and the business of keeping your belongings safe. They are always sweet and helpful when you do things like loose your keys or need special attention. There are closer storage places in Boulder, although I went to Lafayette because it's the best place I found in and around Boulder. I have used two other storage facilities in Boulder which I did not love like I do Elite Storage. I never thought I'd gush about a storage business, but I LOVE Elite Self Storage! We live in Boulder and were looking for some lower priced long term storage for things like Christmas decorations and other seasonal items. Elite is the best. It's a great value and the facilities are amazing. The management lives on the premises. There's gate with passcode, tons of video cameras. I feel like my things are very, very safe there. The convenience features are also great. There's a covered loading dock and there are several carts available for you to use. Everything is super, duper clean--spotless even. There's are soda/water and snack machines if you're there for a while. We're on the second floor, and it's still the most convenient storage unit I've ever had. read more

I love Elite Storage! I never thought that I would ever say that about a storage facility, but this is not your average place. Julie and Don, as well as their little dog Chloe, make me feel so welcome every time I stop in for something. I keep a mailbox there also and am always impressed with how friendly everyone is. The rates are great, the property is immaculate and, seriously, it makes me feel good to give my money to such wonderful people. I know that they care about my belongings and take pride in their work. My stuff is secure there and I can access it anytime I want. I only wish that I had rented my moving truck from them also! I rented a storage unit from Don, Julie & Kloe (Their super cool dog) for over 2 + years, my experience working with them was truly the most pleasant and lovely time. I am a Science teacher and I'm using Elite Storage as a second office. It houses all my books, worksheets, and activities. The climate controlled environment allows me to stay a while to rummage through the shelves. On a teachers low salary, the economical monthly payments allows me to keep this extra office for quite some time. Elite Storage was incredibly helpful and the customer service was excellent! While I didn't end up choosing to store with them, I definitely recommend their facilities. When I visited, everything was very clean and organized, and they only let one person into the lobby at a time due to COVID-19 safety measures.
