I don't understand how this location has a low score on yelp. I'm always visiting this lab when need a blood work done and every time they exceed my expectation. All staff is nice and helpful. Phlebotomists Are always kind and quick. Draw a blood without pain even for kids. They are so good at keeping kids attention to something else during the blood work. Waiting time is not bad to even w/out appointment. I'm giving this location 5 stars. read more

Wasn't expecting to have a great experience here based on the reviews but decided to take my chances for the sake of convenience as it's super close to home. So glad I did! Came in without an appt for bloodwork. The woman who greeted me at the front desk was friendly and professional. There was a handful of patients in the waiting area so I was worried it might be a long wait, but they called me over to the station in less than 10min. Yay! The blood draw itself went smoothly as well. I have small veins so it typically takes a bit longer to draw out, but this time was quick, easy, and painless. Really friendly staff too! read more

Quick and easy. Minimal hassle. Had to get a blood draw. Came here since it was on the way to work. I like that they open at 7. You can get in before work; however, be prepared to wait a little unless you get there before 7. When I came there was maybe 5-6 people in front of me already and I was there at 7:02am. You sign in and they call you up to get your medical insurance info and check your ID. After a little bit if you owe them then you can pay with card and whatnot. The staff was very helpful and somewhat friendly which is good. They explain what's happening and are ready to answer any questions you have. The process of the blood draw only took like 5 minutes maximum. Would recommend coming here. I don't know what those low reviews are talking about since I was able to leave by 730 despite 5 people in front of me or so. read more

Mornings the waiting room is overflowing, had to park down the street. Wait time over 1-hour so I put my name in and came back. If you miss your name, they put you back at the bottom of the waiting list and you start over. Staff overwhelmed. Treated like cattle. Not great if you are fasting and not feeling well. They suggested making an appointment - but they can't schedule it. You have to go online or call. The online scheduler did not work and the automated system could not recognize my words. I ended up scheduling at the Irvine facility at an inconvenient time They did not have appointments available before 11 a.m. Asked for a customer service number and they gave me billing (on hold 8 min) only to confirm that the system is down and there is no phone support that reaches a human. Only their automated scheduler. A terrible way to treat people who are not feeling well. read more

I went to my health care provider and they recommended I get some blood work done and their recommended location was any LabCorp closest to where I live. I wasn't able to drink or eat in the morning which is understandable. LabCorp opens at 7:00 so I got there at 6:50, by then there was already a line of people. About 7 people ahead of me. Doors opened at 7:01 and there was an older lady who was helping many Spanish speaking people at the kiosk. Many of them did not seem to understand how to work the kiosk so the lady was helping them out. She was very impatient, came off as rude, and even told one of the men to move to the side because he was taking too long to find his ID. Understandable, but unnecessary in my opinion since there were 2 other kiosks (3 in total) I waited about 5 minutes, the receptionist called me to the front desk, and I handed her my paperwork. Then I remembered that I had forgotten to sign it. I asked for it back and she said that I didn't need to sign it. So let's hope I really didn't need to. She processed the paperwork and asked me to take a seat. About another 5 minutes later the receptionist took me back and a young female phlebotomist did the blood work. Once we were done an older Spanish speaking woman told the phlebotomists that her last name was spelled wrong, but she didn't seem to understand what she said. The phlebotomists made a nasty face to the Spanish speaking lady and told her "just wait for the doctor who was helping you to come out to help you." I translated to the lady and walked out. As for my first time coming here, it was very uncomfortable having to experience staff that are impatient with older people who are not tech savvy and phlebotomists who seem to not care about trying to help out Spanish speaking patients. I hope I don't have to come back to this location anytime soon. read more

I have an appointment at 10:00am on Saturday. I got there around 9:40, did the check in. Waited and play gain. I notice on my phone, it is 10:00. So I am thinking I am next, WRONG. So patiently, I waited until 10:10. Maybe they are late, but no excuse. 10:15 comes around the corner. So I ask, when will I get called in? They said im next. There was a father and child came in around 10:17. They said they have appointment at 10:15, so very minutes they got called in. So I went up and ask again and said. Why they get to go in before me, the lady said their appointment is at 10:15am. I said my appointment is at 10:00, so what is your excuse. So they trying to rush my paper work. I did NOT get called in until close to 10:30am. Soo Labcorp, thank you for making me late to my 10:30am appointment. There is a reason for appointment not to make people late. read more

Check in process is horrible. They all seem to just walking around with no game plan or order. Almost 2 hours for a drug test with 5 people in the lobby. I was also told i would receive a text when techs ready...that never happened either. Choose another location if possible. Parking situation is also bad. Very limited. read more

Literally worse labcorp I've ever been too. It's sooo DIRTY! No privacy. They had the wrong info on my paperwork TWICE. Then I asked to check it to make sure it was correct the third time, the lady drawing blood next to me chimed in saying that it was their job to check the paperwork. I told her they already messed it up twice, and then she looked embarrassed and apologized. Then my girl couldn't find my vein, and then thought she found it, and couldn't find a needle. Then stabbed me in the hand and barely got a trickle but for some reason kept switching tubes around even though my blood wasn't flowing. Then finally she called someone else over who said those tubes that she had weren't going to work. So then this new girl stabs me in the other arm, redirects, it gets a flow and is able to get the samples. But then she keeps going on about my name, says it in varying incorrect ways, and then makes me repeat it to like 3 different people. WTF was that??? She also put like 3 massive strips of tape on my arm, so that's going to hurt pulling off... Grungy, horrible, awkward, unnerving experience. Echk. Gross. read more

I have been sitting her about an hour after a lovely woman told me to log in at the kiosk. Without any further direction I sat and waited. And waited. And waited. 45 minutes later I became curious so I went to the front desk. I was greeted with "didn't you hear me tell you to sign in on paper too?". Well of course I didn't because they were packed. She told me they would take me right away. 5 more people went into the back and I'm still here. I think I'll have to wait another 45 before I get back. I wouldn't bother but I need the blood work completed. Why is it so difficult to get a blood draw? I would only recommend this place if you have a few hours to kill and your time is invaluable. too many complaints about this place, so i'm just going to start. 1. the hispanic girl at the front desk is rude. she doesn't greet you, she just stares at you and expects you to know the things that she's asking you. if she asked it in a nicer way, maybe i would be more willing to cooperate. 2. i came in WITH an appointment and on time. four other people walked in after me WITHOUT appointments, and they all got seen before me. i don't think that's how an appointment works. 3. the blonde lady that was working on the paperwork didn't touch my paper until after all the other four people were worked on beforehand. ALSO, she needed some "more information" from me, and she asked it extremely loud. this is confidential information, like the last four of my social and my phone number. shouldn't there be a privacy window or something for stuff like this? at least let me write it down so i don't say it in front of this open waiting room area. 4. they told me that i would have my results within 48 hours, and today is exactly one week after i've done my drug screening and my profile still says "results pending", which means the online database has not yet received my results. DO NOT go here. they probably extended their drug screening hours to make it more convenient for other people because they get so many bad reviews that no one wants to go here. read more

Labcorp gets 2 stars all day long because of their goshdang idiotic web-based appointment system that doesn't allow you to book a 7AM appointment yet they open at 7AM. Otherwise, there was parking when I went during my lunch break and my visit took a total of 15 minutes. The phlebotomist was personable, professional and quick which was expected. read more

These are the slowest working people on earth. I arrived at 8:01 for blood tests with 4 others waiting in the lobby. Took 45 minutes before they even asked for my paperwork and ANOTHER 30 minutes - for a tech to come and do a blood draw. Clearly these guys lack any care or work ethic. read more

As someone who has veins that are hard to find, I will not go back here again. The phlebotomists were not able to find my veins or draw my blood. They pricked me twice and each guy moved the needle around, which I know was a bad sign. The second guy wanted to put the needle inside of my wrist, but I refused as I didn't trust his abilities. Hours later and my arm is hurting. Plus, I now have to go another day to another clinic. read more

For a lab, this place is pretty big and pretty busy! I tried to walk-in at 7:10 AM for some bloodwork. They don't make it super clear that you should immediately walk in and write your name down on the paper list at the desk. Don't bother with the iPads along the side, they don't actually use them. I was further down the list than I should've been because this was not explained to me when I first walked in and 2 people signed in while I was on the iPad trying to figure out how to sign in. Not the worst thing, but not great either. The people in the front desk area all seem like they are in a bad mood and not thrilled to be there. They aren't rude, they just never smile and aren't nice or warm. They are efficient, so it's fine. I just think they could use some basic customer service training, a smile and polite greeting would go along way. They don't really ever even say hello. They tell you write your name on the list and they will call you. Then someone from the front desk will shout your name, ask for your insurance card, if you were fasting, ask for your lab slip and then say "Sit down, and they'll call you." I was called back at 8:00 AM. The phlebotomists are much nicer. They call you back and set you up in a station. Some of them are more skilled than others. I admittedly am not the easiest stick. I'm very petite and have small veins. My first phlebotomist tried my right arm, stuck me, dug around, and couldn't get a vein. Got an arm warmer to warm my left arm while at the same time examining my hands to look for a better vein. He finally stuck me in my left arm, dug the needle around, but couldn't get a vein. I was passed off to someone else. I apologized for how much trouble I was, said I drank a lot of water but people have trouble with me sometimes. The new phlebotomist felt my right arm for 2 seconds, stuck me, and hit the vein spot on with the first try (no digging required), quickly filled 7 tubes, and I was out the door. If you have small veins maybe warn the phlebotomists ahead of time so you could get the more experienced person right away. I have been to other smaller LabCorps and I think they are nicer, but if this one is closer to you I think they do an effective job and would still recommend them. read more

We have to not eat for 12 hours prior to the blood test and the line there is 4 hours long. Horrid customer service.

Ok, it's a lab so there isn't much to review and normally I wouldn't bother. But when the staff at check in doesn't enter your lab requests correctly and potentially causes all my tests to be unusable I'm going to say something. The person who caught this error was the staff member who took my second round of blood, this is after I sat for two hours waiting to have blood drawn again (because of the test, not because of the crowd). They not only input the glucose test incorrectly and had the cheat sheet screen show the wrong thing, they completely missed another test the doctor had ordered - this blood should have been drawn first. They assured me that taking blood after administering the glucose would not cause the results of the test they missed to be messed up but I have my doubts and I'm pissed. Your ONE job to read the paperwork the doctor gives you and you can't, not acceptable at all. The girls who do the testing are very nice, the people at the front desk need to work on their attitudes and how to deal with patients. They are very rude and very shot with people. No problem with phlebotomist - parking is huge issue Can't keep appts because no wheelchair parking available, can only park in a wide disabled parking space. It's a sm parking lot so lots of people using handicapped parking could use another space - i cant. They need more disabled parking and their couriers need an alternative plan. This is the second time wasting my time in this dump, I was send here to have a drug test for new work, got here the first time at 3:30pm they said that they are not able to help me because they need to have me here 1 hr before they close,I said but there's no one waiting. Came in for a pre-employment screening thinking it would be blood. Turns out to be urine. I didn't have enough because I had gone about 30 minutes before. I'm told I can either wait or call my employer & explain the situation. The person that was helping me had to go with another patient & left. I couldn't gets hold of my employer so I tell the guy (no name tag) & he says well we're seeing the report that says you failed. For having someone say he can help you I don't think she knew that this was out of his capacity because all that came out of his mouth was "its expired. We're sending the report that you failed." Pretty much telling me too bad. The receptionist just had this blank stare as I'm trying to get an answer from him. No help from the front desk. The lady helping has been nice.
