Labs just got done with my yearly labs. I made an appointment online. The online appointment system is actually quite nice. I had to change it a couple times and it was not an issue. You do have to jump through the ' let's make sure you're human' rings. As I walked in, the lady asked me if I had appointment. I told her I did and she told me to check in at the automated kiosk. Since I use LabCorp due to insurance, they had all of my information. All I had to do was scan my insurance card. Counter girl was efficient, a little friendly, but on a busy day, you can't expect much. Had to do a lot of tests, luckily it was only two vials of blood. The blood technician, not sure if it was a phlebotomist, perform a fairly painless blood draw. She was nice and friendly. I do recommend this place . I used to go to a different blood test place just because it was closet and convenient to my home. I have an upcoming surgery this Monday and the surgeons office requested that I go to this place since my results need to come back quickly. You sign in on a kiosk in the reception area. I went in without an appointment since I went straight away alter my doctor's appointment. When I arrived the receptionist told me to sign in on the kiosk. When I did it told me I had a 1 hour and 45 minute wait. I was considering going to a different location bit people were being called for service one after another in quick succession. I could tell my wait wouldn't be long and it wasn't. I was impressed with the nurses level of expertise because in the past I've had nurses dig around trying to find a vein. I'm not sure if it was the timing or what, but in comparison to some of the more poor reviews my experience was very different. I arrived early for a walk-in "appt". The staff were super helpful and friendly. They checked me in and I was seen immediately. I was the first one in and I'm not sure if the others behind me were rescheduled appts or not. The entrance kiosk wasn't working so staff were checking people in as quickly as possible. The overall blood draw was fine. Easy and painless. The staff doing the blood draw was nice and everything was quick and easy. read more

It has been twice now that the lady at the front desk is incredibly rude! So rude that I will no longer be going to this locations The first time, I got my blood drawn and it was quick and easy but then I had some questions about the bills I was receiving. When I walked in, she ignored me, I stepped closer, she kept ignoring me and finally I said hello and told her I had some questions about my receipt and bill and she immediately cut me off and told me to call the billing department. I asked her to print out my receipt from my visit and again she talked over me and told me "you call billing". So I left. The second time around, my provider said I needed to get some type of container before getting all my labs done. I tried to call but no one answered the phone and I could not find any information online. So I walk in and it's the same lady and once again she ignores me. I stood there for 2 minutes while she typed and checked her cell phone. I finally walked up and ask her if this is where I can get the containers and she ignored my questions and asked if I checked in. I told her not yet because I want to make sure I can get the containers there. Again, she talked over me and said I need to check in. I have no issue checking in and waiting in line, but I wanted to make sure I was even in the right place first! Again, I walked out because it's impossible to communicate with this woman. Extremely unprofessional. They treat you as if you had leprosy. Extremely disengaged. When I arrived I got into the already existing line. Waited for 10 minutes, over which she made eye contact with me several times. (Obvious, because I was standing at her counter) So I finally interrupted whatever she was listening to on her headphones. She tapped them to mute them and then with her most disturbed and frustrated voice she says "can I help you with something? " I held up my paperwork and explained I was here for blood work. She then pointed at a kiosk and went to turn her phones back on. I said "oh is he first?" She said "no, use that!" So I did, and she never spoke to me again. Now, I assumed this was a one off. Maybe I dated her daughter and didn't recall. Perhaps she saw me park and didn't like my car. But then she proceeded to do this to everyone she came in contact with. Eventually another lady walked in and must have noticed this girl was a bitch. She then said "wanna switch?" And so they did. Late morning, "drop in" blood draw visit today. I knew I was taking my chances not having an appointment time. I'd tried another Labcorp location I'd used before first, but the number of people in the waiting room there convinced me to try this location. Everything went smoothly. I was told a 1.5 hr wait time, given existing appts and the # of people waiting. I lucked out, and I was in in under 45 minutes. Tech was very professional and knowledgeable. I read several of the negative reviews; I can affirmatively say those conditions did not apply to my visit. Look, getting a blood draw is no one's favorite thing nor is waiting in a health care environment. In terms of my expectations, and the actual experience, I was pleased. My elderly mother on Medicare, and with a good local supplemental plan was in Rehab several months ago. Five months ago, LabCorp started sending me bills for the entire amount of a basic blood test. I immediately contacted them and resent all her insurance information. A month later, they sent a second bill saying they were unable to contact her insurance. I called her insurance, verified she was covered for the basic lab work, and was given a direct number to provide to LabCorp to call the insurance company. Her insurance representative here in Reno promised she would get it straightened out. I called Lab Corp and provided them with the direct number to the insurance representative. Three months later, and I continue to get full bills from LabCorp saying they're unable to contact the insurance company, despite my having provided them with a direct line to do so. I absolutely would not recommend a medical company unable to correctly perform even the most straightforward billing processes. read more

I tell you what, I DID NOT want to go to Labcorp today. Due to recent events, I don't really trust medical personnel, and I don't like being at their facilities. But I was forced by my PC doctor, in order to continue my BP and thyroid scripts. So I was irritated the entire time. HAVING SAID THAT - this was one of best places I've ever been and I HIGHLY recommend this specific office! I made appointment previously online. They were backed up and I had to wait 3-4 weeks, but not complaining and that's standard wait time when booking special medical appointment. I walked in and only 1-2 other people in there (I love not crowded at all) and I was able to check in easily using my driver license on their computer located in waiting area. But the very best thing about my visit was the young woman who checked me in and took my blood. Even though I grilled her with questions, she was courteous, patient, kind, and professional. She got me in and out in 5-10 minutes, (almost) painless and stress-free. I was very impressed with the entire experience and had to Yelp it! And I hope you see this Labcorp Corporate and pay her a couple bucks more! That is definitely someone you should look into not only keeping, but moving up in future. Thank you Labcorp! read more

This place refuses to answer the phone, no matter what time of day. I called over and over, multiple times through out the day. Their hours listed on the internet are totally different than ones posted on the front door, so when I get there after no one is answering the phone, of course they are closed. Thanks a lot. Why does your website say you're open from 7:30-1:30 but then I get there and you're closed from 12:30-2:00??!! Only one women seems to work here but she is amazing and works very hard. She gets people in and out pretty quickly. Ingrid is the best phlebotomist I have ever had and she makes every blood draw quick and virtually painless.
