While some staff members continue to provide excellent service, my recent experiences highlight several areas that need improvement. Scheduling and communication issues have become a significant problem. My doctor ordered both a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound. During my initial attempt to book the appointments, the first representative was inflexible and insisted I use a different location instead of the Sierra Rose site I requested. On the day of my appointment, I waited more than 30+ minutes past my scheduled time only to learn that the appointment order had been changed without notice. The sonographer performed the ultrasound first, found everything clear and benign, and, after review by the onsite doctor, recommended canceling the mammogram. The sonographer was very professional and thorough; however, the issues were clearly outside of her control. This was a front office and scheduling problem. The overall coordination was poor and confusing. Compounding the frustration, I received a follow-up call the next day informing me that I still needed to schedule the mammogram. This was especially stressful and confusing, as it directly contradicted the previous day's assessment and my doctor's original orders. For the next couple of days, RDC continued calling me persistently about scheduling a follow-up mammogram. The representatives had difficulty communicating clearly, and the calls ended without resolution. I'm also unsure whether it is standard practice to override a doctor's order for a diagnostic mammogram when one was performed within the prior 30 days. Additionally, as a self-pay patient, I was charged a 3% interest fee on my credit card (waived only for cash or check). This practice feels inconsistent with industry standards and adds unnecessary burden to patients. In today's largely cashless society, this feels like an unnecessary burden on patients. Medical practices can typically deduct these fees as business expenses, making it preferable for the office to absorb them rather than pass them on to loyal self-pay customers. It appears the center has undergone an acquisition, and many team members seem to be in training. These changes appear to have impacted service consistency and communication quality. I requested to speak with a manager and sent a follow-up email, but I have not received any response. I hope management will address the scheduling processes, staff training, coordination with referring physicians, and billing policies so that Reno Diagnostic Center can restore the high level of care it was once known for. This review is intended to help bring these issues to their attention.

There's nothing fun about having to get lab work done…read more @645am I arrived in the parking lot for a 7am appointment I'd been fasting for 9 1/2 hours, had no coffee or tea so in short I was a hot mess and in a bad mood! I arrived at the front door @655am. The doors opened exactly at 7am not a minute sooner. Paperwork was completed within seconds after the doors opened. I was called into the back room within 5 minutes. Big black chairs in open cubicles - kinda comfy for what I was there for. I sat Gave her my right arm and turned away One quick pin prick and before I knew it I was done! Brava! To the tech not only did she get the blood on the 1st try but she didn't leave a bruise! It looks like there was issues in the past around their billing but I cannot speak to that. All I know is that I would gladly recommend my friends and family to have their X-rays or any IR procedures done by Reno rad.

The payments processed correctly for five months and then suddenly stopped due to an issue on their end. I never noticed because it was on autopay but since the payments stopped, I started receiving past-due and collection notices even though I had set up autopay specifically to avoid this situation. When I called, they confirmed something happened with the account on their side but still expected me to immediately pay the remaining balance. I continued paying my agreed monthly amount, yet I still received a notice saying I defaulted on the payment plan. The balance itself was small, but the billing process and communication were frustrating and disappointing. Patients shouldn't have to deal with collection warnings because of internal billing errors.

From the moment I arrived, Carey was incredibly kind, patient, calming, and genuinely comforting. She has a natural way of putting you at ease, which makes such a difference in a medical setting. We got so engaged in conversation that time flew by--before I knew it, the appointment was already done. Carey was also extremely thorough and took the time to explain the timeline for receiving my results, which I truly appreciated. Instead of leaving with uncertainty, I left feeling informed and reassured. She is an excellent representative of Renown Imaging in Vista, and I'm very grateful for the care and compassion she showed.

However, there have been two ladies who stood out--both were gentle, friendly, and took the time to talk, which I appreciated. There's never anyone at the front desk, but I believe that's standard for Quest locations. Overall, it gets the job done, but the quality of care varies.
