The frustration was increased by my emailing the documents to labcorp on my tiny phone screen, only to find that the folks at the desk could not find the physician's NPI. This resulted in my having to drive to my PCPs office and a 15 min draw turned into a 2 hour lunch break and me being frustrated and angry. Will keep this in mind for future draws and a last minute lab draw now being scheduled at renown due to not having proper documentation.

I asked for a copy to be sent to my lymphedema technician and this was denied. As a consequence I was unable to receive my lymphedema treatment today. I cannot even have a copy of my lab work until I see the doctor who ordered it. This is ridiculous and I am going to report this to the State Insurance Division.

It turns out that the office only had one receptionist and one phlebotomist at the time I visited; Tracy, sole phlebotomist, did her best despite the staff shortage. So, PRO-TIP: schedule an appointment on-line because even with a room full of people, I only waited less than 20 minutes. My lab visit great, my appointment was useful and the service was friendly and professional. Overall, it was a good visit.

Rarely do they have two people for check-in. I must say they are always polite and don't seem to stop for brakes until the crowd is gone. Early is the worst time to go but many times you have to fast. This review is for my visit on the 9th of Jan. The young lady seemed not as experienced as some of the others in there that draw blood samples. I never had a problem in the past and they have no problem finding the right spot. This lady did not hit the vein spot on and so she was moving the needle around while in my arm. She only got half a vial. The elastic was put on way too tight so my arm hurt most of the day. PLUS that spot had a huge bruise about the size of two silver dollars. I showed my husband when I got home and he has never had that problem there. She needs more experience before she deals with the public. I wish I wold have taken a photo.

I booked online for a blood draw appointment which was easy because there were numerous days/times…read moreslots available. It is a small front reception area, the draw area, and a bathroom. The tech who was also the receptionist was friendly and pleasant. I had only booked for a few individual tests, but he showed me package deals which were more cost effective so I went with a more comprehensive test package. We went to the draw area and when he pricked my arm, it really hurt. I tried not to move or react, but I could tell that this procedure was going to leave a mark. See the picture of my arm the next day. It was sore and tender for another 4 days. I used the bathroom to collect my urine sample. I was texted and emailed login credentials to create a profile and to able to receive my results. The results came in 4 days later. I liked the convenience of making an appointment, but I am not sure I will return due to the pain and discomfort of the blood draw.

I would have done that, but I didn't realize the wait time would be so long with an appointment. The room where the blood draw is taken had loud machines running, which was a little unexpected. The technician was nice, and the needle poke was quick, but the blood draw itself was uncomfortable. I had hydrated and the whole process was very quick, but as soon as the needle was out, my arm hurt more than usual and I had immediate bruising in the area, again unusual. Not the best experience overall, but not the worst either. TIP: If you want an early morning appointment (especially if you're fasting), make your appointment at least a week in advance.

Basic handwashing supplies should be non-negotiable. The absence of soap in a restroom used by patients raises serious sanitation and infection-control concerns. I expect much better hygiene standards from a medical laboratory. This needs to be addressed immediately and procedures should be in place to ensure patient restrooms are routinely checked and properly stocked.

She had a very bad attitude and spoke to us as if she was there working for free and we we're intruding on her space. Emma Vega kept insisting we get back in line while the information pops up. Since when are people pushed to the side because of a "system failure" instead of attending us?! We did not get labs because of this rude, unprofessional woman who for some reason took her hate for her job out on my daughter and I.
