Renown's electronic orders do not communicate with labcorp's technology. The frustration was increased by my emailing the documents to labcorp on my tiny phone screen, only to find that the folks at the desk could not find the physician's NPI. This resulted in my having to drive to my PCPs office and a 15 min draw turned into a 2 hour lunch break and me being frustrated and angry. Will keep this in mind for future draws and a last minute lab draw now being scheduled at renown due to not having proper documentation.

I asked for a copy to be sent to my lymphedema technician and this was denied. As a consequence I was unable to receive my lymphedema treatment today. I cannot even have a copy of my lab work until I see the doctor who ordered it. This is ridiculous and I am going to report this to the State Insurance Division.

She had a very bad attitude and spoke to us as if she was there working for free and we we're intruding on her space. She kept saying she couldn't find my daughter's information in the system while taking her time and taking long pauses between questions. Emma Vega kept insisting we get back in line while the information pops up. Since when are people pushed to the side because of a "system failure" instead of attending us?! We did not get labs because of this rude, unprofessional woman who for some reason took her hate for her job out on my daughter and I. Emma Vega needs to realize that people have a very specific need for getting labs that are detrimental to health checks for the purpose of wellness and medical adjustments! Disgusting behavior!!!

Upon entering, there were about 4-5 people ahead of me with appointments, so obviously those people were seen first and then several people came in after right after me. Ultimately, I was in and out within 25 minutes, which I felt very reasonable considering I walked in without an appointment and several people ahead of me. I found this location to be very convenient and the staff quick and friendly.

Definitely nice to make an appointment in advance online, but unlike most centers I've gone to previously, this one was running behind, and my name was called about 10-15 minutes after my appointment time. The waiting room was a bit depressing. I highly recommend the option to wait in your car when you check in. I would have done that, but I didn't realize the wait time would be so long with an appointment. The room where the blood draw is taken had loud machines running, which was a little unexpected. The technician was nice, and the needle poke was quick, but the blood draw itself was uncomfortable. I had hydrated and the whole process was very quick, but as soon as the needle was out, my arm hurt more than usual and I had immediate bruising in the area, again unusual. Not the best experience overall, but not the worst either. TIP: If you want an early morning appointment (especially if you're fasting), make your appointment at least a week in advance.

There were no paper towels and, even more concerning, no soap available to wash my hands. This is a healthcare facility where patients are providing urine and other specimens. Basic handwashing supplies should be non-negotiable. The absence of soap in a restroom used by patients raises serious sanitation and infection-control concerns. I expect much better hygiene standards from a medical laboratory. This needs to be addressed immediately and procedures should be in place to ensure patient restrooms are routinely checked and properly stocked.
