This Labcorp at 601 Sierra Rose Dr 103, Reno, NV 89511, is consistently the quickest in & out location. They have 3 check-in express kiosks & a bigger than usual seating area. The staff is friendly & professional. It's minutes off the I-580 freeway at the Neil Road exit.

    First time at this location.

We came in yesterday to get annual lab work done. Appointment was made several months ago online. Love the check in prior to appt. Already got the results back!

I visited this location on July 26, 2023 for some bloodwork. I came in the mid-afternoon. There was only one other party ahead of me and I also had an appointment. Self check-in was easy with the QR-code on your phone. They had two or three check-in machines. The waiting room was clean, spacious, and brightly lit, in a newer building, which was right in front of the small office park. Parking was easy. Wifi was a little tricky connecting to. I forget the exact issue. I think there might have been two networks for wifi, and it also didn't connect the first few times. I also wasn't sure if I needed to enter a Spectrum passcode. But it did work in the end after some experimentation. The phlebotomist quickly called me and processed my paperwork. There was some confusion, because it was an out-of-state doctor who ordered the tests and she was not in their system. They needed her NPI ("National Practitioner Identifier"). But the person went to work researching it and even called in two of her colleagues to help. It didn't help that the doctor had two foreign names (which is the first and which is the last they wondered?) and they did not know San Jose and Santa Clara were in the same area (her office is in San Jose but her NPI in the database has her home city listed). In the end I looked up the NPI on my phone and supplied it to them. I did appreciate their efforts and realize this wasn't their fault. The draw itself was easily, and the phlebotomist was professional. She also did not draw the wrong test and did not leave bruises in both of my arms which lasted for 10 days like the one at Quest Diagnostics in Carson City did earlier. And she quickly got me the work excuse note that I needed. So, despite some hiccups, I am wholly satisfied. I highly recommend online appointments for all lab services, and coming in the afternoon, if possible, since it is less busy. Make sure you also bring your lab orders with you. Sometimes labs don't have or can't find copies that the doctor's office sent over. They need the lab orders and NPI to proceed. I had to leave empty handed at another lab years ago because of these issues.

    No bruises whatsoever

Very unwelcoming front desk person. I was asked to report in and she acted put off and bothered that I did.

One rang the bell and the lady just kept telling them to use the kiosk, and when they said they were trying she kept saying use the kiosk, use the kiosk, use the kiosk. The person gave up and left. The second person needed help and after watching that, I helped. I was able to help them get their license scanned and checked in. This person was not a English first language, the lack of help was appalling to me. Then the billing. I have visited several times and not showing payments posted. I called and asked for a statement of account. Any provider should be able to provide this, it is a list of services and payments. I was told I would be sent the statement, what I received was individual copies of bills. I noticed a payment was not posted, I called back and the person, says, "there is another bill". (Why do I not have it, I thought) I said I requested a full statement of my account. She said, "we don't do that, we can only send copies of individual bills" so I asked again to have a copy of every single bill sent so I can reconcile to make sure my payments are posted. I am now waiting for that, but I will not use Quest ever again. It is ridiculous that they can't print one statement for me with everything and they way they treated people in person was degrading. Go elsewhere if you can.

Setting up appointments are a hit or miss, sometimes you'll get someone who is inhospitable or indifferent, other times you'll get the friendliest, most helpful person. It really is just crapshoot. BUT once you are at the center, the staff are very friendly and accommodating. During this recent visit, the young lady at the front reception room was very courteous and professional. The mammogram technician I encountered during this visit, Megan, was a consummate professional, she was very clinical and gave precise, easy instructions to follow. I've always had a positive experience at Reno Diagnostic Centers and I will more than likely continue using their services in the future.

Not good. After I…read morewent through so much time and trouble to even GET an appointment, and had a bunch of false information tossed at me while trying to get an appointment, Reno Diagnostic Centers violated Federal law regarding we Veterans when it directly billed me. To add further insult to injury to me, Reno Diagnostic Centers illegally directly billed me twice. When I call them, who answered won't even give me their name. The fact that Reno Diagnostic Centers FAILS to respond to negative Yelp reviews here screams to the public that they don't care one bit what the public thinks of it. Reno Diagnostic Centers violates Federal law regarding we Veterans and it's contracts with Tri-West. As a Veteran, ALL my health care coverage is with U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). VA very rarely sends me outside the VA for my healthcare. VA does that through a third-party service known as Tri-West. VA and Tri-West have a contract. Reno Diagnostic Centers entered into contract with Tri-West to provide me healthcare. Per Federal law, I have NO contract with Tri-West or Reno Diagnostic Centers. Again, per Federal law regarding we Veterans, I the Veteran have NO contract with Reno Diagnostic Centers. Federal law PROHIBITS outside VA healthcare providers such as Reno Diagnostic Centers who have Tri-West contracts from directly billing me or any Veteran or demanding any financial information of any sort from me, including but not limited to, Social Security number, or address, from Veterans. The only item outside VA healthcare providers such as Reno Diagnostic Centers who have Tri-West contracts can legally obtain from me, the Veteran is a copy of my, the Veterans VA healthcare id. Yet, Reno Diagnostic Centers routinely violates Federal law by directly billing me and other Veterans and illegally demanding financial information, including but not limited to, my the Veteran's Social Security numbers, my the Veteran's Medicare or Medicaid cards and my the Veteran's address, from not only me, but also other Veterans. When I called Reno Diagnostic Centers, what a LOT of work that was to get through, then no name given, and had a bunch of false information tossed at me, so I had to escalate to a supervisor. A supervisor, again no name to give, told me they know the rules they had agreed to under their contract with Tri-West and Federal law but had no explanation for why they keep breaking the rules they had agreed to under their contract with Tri-West and Federal law. It was "oh, well to bad so sad nothing we can do" from them. Reno Diagnostic Centers word is no good, they are UNPROFESSIONAL and they screw-over me as a Veteran. Reno Diagnostic Centers is NOT a Veteran-friendly business AND clearly contributes to why so many Veterans succumb to suicide at almost three times the rate of non-Veterans. P.S. Don't message me because in spite of my several complaints to yelp, for years now I am unable to open up any messages in yelp to me :-(
