I have been to Reno Diagnostic Centers several times and is my preferred location to go to for mammogram screenings. Setting up appointments are a hit or miss, sometimes you'll get someone who is inhospitable or indifferent, other times you'll get the friendliest, most helpful person. It really is just crapshoot. BUT once you are at the center, the staff are very friendly and accommodating. During this recent visit, the young lady at the front reception room was very courteous and professional. The mammogram technician I encountered during this visit, Megan, was a consummate professional, she was very clinical and gave precise, easy instructions to follow. I've always had a positive experience at Reno Diagnostic Centers and I will more than likely continue using their services in the future. read more

I had a bad experience with this office several months ago and hoped it was a one-off. I gave them another chance and booked a time-sensitive exam six weeks in advance. Two days before my appointment, they cancelled because they hadn't staffed their office adequately -- pushing my exam back another three weeks due to their own incompetence. If you have any other option, I'd take it. They leave a lot to be desired. read more

I fluctuate between good and great. I came in for a number of tests that had been ordered by my PCP. Getting an appointment was no problem and the phone scheduler was professional. The location is convenient for me. It was clean which is of primary importance for medical. It was really busy when I went in and the waiting area was nothing fancy and seemed a bit institutional. The technicians were all professional and explained what was going to take place and what to expect. One person was a little brusk with me when I was not really sure of an answer to a question. I had an MRI and x-rays done. The results were sent to my PCP within 3 days. I felt like I was in and out within a reasonable time line. read more

My yearly visit went super smooth. There is a separate reception office for Woman and the staff is very friendly. When it was my turn, I was greeted and given simple instructions. All of the staff are so professional and nice, which makes a person feel comfortable. I've been coming here for years and my experience has been consistent throughout the years. read more

We had to call this business 4 times before they could provide us with an explanation as to why my wife couldn't schedule her mammogram. Not only were they rude and dismissive, but they flat out stated my wife could not get a mammogram because she is too young. Terrible customer service and compassion for patients. read more

Typical establishment that does not honor doctor's orders and wastes your time in the meanwhile. Would not schedule even with an order in hand and wants to fight my doctor about the wording. And then mentioned appointments are out over 2.5 months! Even with concerns. The rep Coila is very hard to understand. Speaks quiet and I swear I was speaking to a robot half of the conversation. This is about their billing practices. I was charged $69.54 for xrays, yet when I received my explanation of benefits (EOB) it said my portion was $0. I called my insurance company and they called RD and were told when they received my EOB I would be refunded. That was over a month ago and no refund had been issued. I called RD today to get my refund and ask why it was never issued. Don't trust their billing practices. Reno Diagnostic will gladly take your money and keep it even if you don't owe it. Double check your EOBs and make sure you didn't pay for something you didn't have to. read more

After I went through so much time and trouble to even GET an appointment, and had a bunch of false information tossed at me while trying to get an appointment, Reno Diagnostic Centers violated Federal law regarding we Veterans when it directly billed me. To add further insult to injury to me, Reno Diagnostic Centers illegally directly billed me twice. When I call them, who answered won't even give me their name. The fact that Reno Diagnostic Centers FAILS to respond to negative Yelp reviews here screams to the public that they don't care one bit what the public thinks of it. Reno Diagnostic Centers violates Federal law regarding we Veterans and it's contracts with Tri-West. As a Veteran, ALL my health care coverage is with U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). VA very rarely sends me outside the VA for my healthcare. VA does that through a third-party service known as Tri-West. VA and Tri-West have a contract. Reno Diagnostic Centers entered into contract with Tri-West to provide me healthcare. Per Federal law, I have NO contract with Tri-West or Reno Diagnostic Centers. Again, per Federal law regarding we Veterans, I the Veteran have NO contract with Reno Diagnostic Centers. Federal law PROHIBITS outside VA healthcare providers such as Reno Diagnostic Centers who have Tri-West contracts from directly billing me or any Veteran or demanding any financial information of any sort from me, including but not limited to, Social Security number, or address, from Veterans. The only item outside VA healthcare providers such as Reno Diagnostic Centers who have Tri-West contracts can legally obtain from me, the Veteran is a copy of my, the Veterans VA healthcare id. Yet, Reno Diagnostic Centers routinely violates Federal law by directly billing me and other Veterans and illegally demanding financial information, including but not limited to, my the Veteran's Social Security numbers, my the Veteran's Medicare or Medicaid cards and my the Veteran's address, from not only me, but also other Veterans. When I called Reno Diagnostic Centers, what a LOT of work that was to get through, then no name given, and had a bunch of false information tossed at me, so I had to escalate to a supervisor. A supervisor, again no name to give, told me they know the rules they had agreed to under their contract with Tri-West and Federal law but had no explanation for why they keep breaking the rules they had agreed to under their contract with Tri-West and Federal law. It was "oh, well to bad so sad nothing we can do" from them. Reno Diagnostic Centers word is no good, they are UNPROFESSIONAL and they screw-over me as a Veteran. Reno Diagnostic Centers is NOT a Veteran-friendly business AND clearly contributes to why so many Veterans succumb to suicide at almost three times the rate of non-Veterans. P.S. I've gone to the Eureka location several times for imaging. The facility is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

I went here for a mri and was in and out pretty quickly. They provided a privacy curtain to change and complimentary socks. They also gave me a locker with a key to keep my things protected. Thank you Reno diagnostic center for a quick and smooth appointment. read more

Beware, they are under new ownership who decided to come in and raise prices just for fun. The price of a DEXA that has been the same for at least 10 years went up to $75 from $50, then that wasn't enough so it was raised again to $125. Sad to just be milking people who are choosing to monitor their health. read more

I called and scheduled a DEXA scan nearly 6 weeks ago. I received a text today saying they need to reschedule my appointment which was two days from today. This is probably the fourth time this has happened to me. When I called and asked why I am being rescheduled, Jose told me it was canceled due to coverage. He said that means I don't have the right insurance coverage. Not only could I barely understand what he was saying because of his heavy accent, he was completely wrong. This is an out of pocket cash test that your doctor does not have to order and does not get billed to my insurance. When I tried to explain this to him, he replied, "Uhhh, I don't know". I am so done with RDC. Their employees are consistently rude, and I'm tired of having my appointments canceled. read more

Be aware of their faulty appointment system, as this is the 2nd time I showed up for a confirmed appointment and was denied service, even after showing them my reservation confirmation. The receptionist confirmed her awareness of their internal system problems but I still had to be rescheduled. Huge waste of time and money, not to mention delayed my diagnosis and treatment which worsened my condition and medical remedy/treatment. read more

No one has called back in over a week and have been on hold for an hour and a half every day. I even went into the facility on Sierra Rose to try and make an appointment and several people in front of me were having the same issue. You have to call the number that puts you on hold forever and the dreaded AI voice says they will call back shortly- ha! Is this the standard of care? I can't believe you have any patients if there is no one to make an appointment... I think you can do better. The lady's in the facility were extremely nice and tried to help so kudos to them! Billing system sends you to english as a second language group from the middle east. After several calls and giving my account number, name, phone number, date of birth, billing address they could not find my account that has a balance according to my paper bill from the mail. Calling back and getting a different representative you get the same results. No matter what phone number you call, your unable to verify the bill or pay it. Spend a little more and get US citizens answering a phone to receive your payments. You actually might get paid... Showing up and getting the procedure done is awesome. Ok, had to have x-ray done. Called the night before they had an opening for me to come in at 10:40 AM. I showed up, they already had all of my information so it was pretty seamless. Had to sign standard documents, Hyppa, agreements blah blah blah. Everyone is really nice. my weight was less than five minutes. A technician, Jenny, came and got me took me in the back room and took two x-rays. From checking to finish I'm pretty sure it was less than 10 minutes. This group is not a very organized group. This group billed me twice even after getting paid by insurance. They don't answer their phones and whoever finally answered the phone acted like they didn't understand my simple questions about test results. Very poor customer service all in all. I do NOT recommend this location for an MRI. Last year I had my MRI done here and was EXTREMELY unhappy with pretty much everything. They were very unprofessional, the scan itself took twice as long as it would normally take. The worst part was that there was NO communication for the ENTIRE time between me and the MRI tech. I was extremely uncomfortable and finally at one point I called out "hello?" and NOONE responded. I literally felt like they left me in there and went home (it was late in the day). This year I got smart and went to Renown imaging (Double R) and it was a great experience. read more

Two doctors referred my wife and me to get and MRI and Bone Density Scan, respectively. We were told Reno Diagnostics would contact us. They never did (2 weeks went by). Called them and ended up waiting an hour or more to get a Scheduler. Then it turns out that the wait time for an appointment is quite lengthy. If they had any competition they'd likely be out of business in short order. read more

Out of the three referrals I had for an MRI, Reno Diagnostic was the quickest to get me in. My check in was 11:05 and I arrived a little earlier than that and they actually had me back before my "table time." I thought that was great. The assistant had a really hard time getting the IV in (I have deep veins and darker skin), so she left it to the tech. He tried an additional two times (totaling in 4; one arm, one wrist and one in each hand) and he even started to inject the contrast into my hand without it being in the vein. That left my hand in pain for couple days following. He was unable to inject the contrast and insinuated it was my fault for not drinking enough water. RDC is the only place I recommend getting any imaging done! Easy to park, super super clean. Nice staff and accommodating as they possibly can .... Most of the time. They have a ton of seating so the social distancing can be enforced. They did a nice jibe explaining and making me feel very comfortable. read more

Had a great experience and the price was good... I usually go to Renown, but they started billing really weird and charging these exorbitant prices and facility charges?? Even at the standalone locations! so I checked with my insurance and they recommended this place. it was hard getting used to a different app, etc. but once those learning pains are over and the process is done, they were quick, easy efficient and definitely cost savings! Efficient service! Had three different types of diagnosis all handled very quickly appreciated the care of my concerns.

Called to schedule an appointment. The person on the phone wasn't exactly rude, but it certainly was not friendly service at all. She asked me for all of my information, my medical plan info, then the order from the doctor. She then launched into some kind of diagnostics and then told me I had received the wrong order and that I would have to go to my doctor and tell her to give me a different order. I am not a doctor, medical provider, nor do I know all of the "diagnostic ICD-10 things." I am certainly not going to get all the way across town with the bus strike so that I can guess what RDC needs next. My DOCTOR ordered something that was not good enough for a phone screener, maybe the phone screener should call my doctor, inform her how to practice medicine, then explain just what it is they are after. I am not going to get in a 3 way disagreement that I know nothing about. I read some nice reviews about the technicians here, it is too bad that the before care doesn't sync. There are too many other places in town that can take a fancy picture. I don't want to be treated like I have done something wrong by calling to make an appointment. read more
