WOW. Where do I even start. What started as a nightmare at 3am turned into a fantastic experience…read more Deric, Brandon and Kevin showed up and immediately located the shutoff valve to my house to stop the flood coming from 3 separate angle stops bursting in my home, before cleaning all the water up and working quickly to minimize damages while simultaneously calming my wife and I down by walking us through next steps. Tim's follow up, coupled with him and his team's efficiency, knowledge, and professionalism made my experience so incredibly pain free. These guys not only know their stuff, but are also some of the nicest and most professional gentlemen in the Reno area, which as any Reno native or transplant will quickly tell you, is so rare. They did such an outstanding job, I've recommended them to my neighbors, friends, family, and just about anybody that will listen. Impeccable job gentlemen, thank you again!

They assessed, told we needed dryers and remediation and repairs and they would act as an intermediary between us and the insurance company and not to worry the insurance company would handle the bill. All we would have to handle would be the deductible. NONE of that was true the insurance company denied the claim. We cancelled before they did ANYTHING. Now Ecodry is trying to stick us with $2500.00 bill for a free assessment charged as an emergency call out, administrative fees, fuel surcharge and testing fees and left us with a hole in our wall where they cut drywall out for the testing. Come to find out they did the same thing to our In laws. I filed a complaint with the AG today. If anyone else has fallen victim to this predatory company, I suggest they also file a complaint with the AG.

Review of TEK Inspections - Inspector Brett Neumark…read moreInspection Date: March 27, 2025 Company Slogan: "Dedicated to your peace of mind" We are deeply disappointed with the level of service provided by TEK Inspections and inspector Brett Neumark. Our experience was far from the peace of mind promised by the company's slogan, and the consequences of the oversights during our inspection have been costly, frustrating, and stressful. 1. Incomplete Attic Inspection Mr. Neumark failed to inspect the attic entirely because the entrance was located above the washer and dryer in the laundry room. Although the current homeowners gave full consent to move the units--an easy task requiring no more than shifting them five inches--Mr. Neumark refused. Our realtor ultimately moved them without issue, but only after we insisted that the attic be inspected. Even then, the inspector was visibly annoyed that we requested he complete the job. 2. Rodent Infestation Overlooked Despite noting droppings in the garage, Mr. Neumark inaccurately concluded they were old and that there was no active infestation. Within 24 hours of moving in, we discovered a live family of mice in the garage. Additionally, there were mouse droppings in the attic--completely omitted from his report--confirming an active and ongoing rodent problem that should not have been missed. 3. Bathtub Leak Ignored The secondary bathroom's bathtub leaked significantly the first time we used it, causing water damage to the floor. The inspector claimed he could not properly assess it for fear of damaging the facade. However, upon closer inspection, we found it was secured by only six easily removable screws. It took us less than a minute to confirm the leak ourselves. This lack of effort was inexcusable. 4. Structural Oversight A large, gaping hole--about the size of a football--was left unnoticed under the eaves near the back patio door. Nesting birds, feathers, and debris made it clear this had been an ongoing issue, yet it was not mentioned in the report. This type of structural vulnerability should have been immediately flagged by any qualified inspector. 5. Incorrect and Costly Radon Advice We were incorrectly advised that installing a vapor barrier in our crawl space would resolve elevated radon levels. Based on this recommendation, we paid $1,200 to a local pest control company--only to find out it did nothing to fix the issue. A professional radon specialist later explained that proper ventilation is required, which cost us nearly $5,000. This misinformation was both costly and dangerous. Conclusion The inspection felt rushed and careless. Critical issues that any competent home inspector should have identified were either ignored or misdiagnosed. The inspector appeared more interested in finishing quickly than in ensuring our home was safe and sound. We strongly caution others against using TEK Inspections. In our opinion, this company is not committed to its slogan or to providing the level of diligence and professionalism that homebuyers deserve.

TEK inspected a new Toll Brothers home around the time our official walkthrough…read more TEK was professional, efficient and thorough from start to finish. Elisa got the site visit scheduled on short notice despite shifting time windows imposed by the developer; she promptly submitted the insurance, bonding and certification documentation required by the developer; she resolved last minute snafus that threatened to cancel the inspection. Ty arrived on site at the appointed time and inspected the home systems thoroughly during the builder-limited 3 hour window. The inspection included IR inspection of appliances, drone inspection of the roof (since developer denied physical access), and physical inspection of crawl and attic spaces. Ty's report was available in less than 24 hours. The report included photos of every nook and cranny inspected, indications of proper and deficient findings, as well recommendations for deficient findings. Recommended.

Setting up appointments are a hit or miss, sometimes you'll get someone who is inhospitable or indifferent, other times you'll get the friendliest, most helpful person. It really is just crapshoot. BUT once you are at the center, the staff are very friendly and accommodating. During this recent visit, the young lady at the front reception room was very courteous and professional. The mammogram technician I encountered during this visit, Megan, was a consummate professional, she was very clinical and gave precise, easy instructions to follow. I've always had a positive experience at Reno Diagnostic Centers and I will more than likely continue using their services in the future.

Not good. After I…read morewent through so much time and trouble to even GET an appointment, and had a bunch of false information tossed at me while trying to get an appointment, Reno Diagnostic Centers violated Federal law regarding we Veterans when it directly billed me. To add further insult to injury to me, Reno Diagnostic Centers illegally directly billed me twice. When I call them, who answered won't even give me their name. The fact that Reno Diagnostic Centers FAILS to respond to negative Yelp reviews here screams to the public that they don't care one bit what the public thinks of it. Reno Diagnostic Centers violates Federal law regarding we Veterans and it's contracts with Tri-West. As a Veteran, ALL my health care coverage is with U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). VA very rarely sends me outside the VA for my healthcare. VA does that through a third-party service known as Tri-West. VA and Tri-West have a contract. Reno Diagnostic Centers entered into contract with Tri-West to provide me healthcare. Per Federal law, I have NO contract with Tri-West or Reno Diagnostic Centers. Again, per Federal law regarding we Veterans, I the Veteran have NO contract with Reno Diagnostic Centers. Federal law PROHIBITS outside VA healthcare providers such as Reno Diagnostic Centers who have Tri-West contracts from directly billing me or any Veteran or demanding any financial information of any sort from me, including but not limited to, Social Security number, or address, from Veterans. The only item outside VA healthcare providers such as Reno Diagnostic Centers who have Tri-West contracts can legally obtain from me, the Veteran is a copy of my, the Veterans VA healthcare id. Yet, Reno Diagnostic Centers routinely violates Federal law by directly billing me and other Veterans and illegally demanding financial information, including but not limited to, my the Veteran's Social Security numbers, my the Veteran's Medicare or Medicaid cards and my the Veteran's address, from not only me, but also other Veterans. When I called Reno Diagnostic Centers, what a LOT of work that was to get through, then no name given, and had a bunch of false information tossed at me, so I had to escalate to a supervisor. A supervisor, again no name to give, told me they know the rules they had agreed to under their contract with Tri-West and Federal law but had no explanation for why they keep breaking the rules they had agreed to under their contract with Tri-West and Federal law. It was "oh, well to bad so sad nothing we can do" from them. Reno Diagnostic Centers word is no good, they are UNPROFESSIONAL and they screw-over me as a Veteran. Reno Diagnostic Centers is NOT a Veteran-friendly business AND clearly contributes to why so many Veterans succumb to suicide at almost three times the rate of non-Veterans. P.S. Don't message me because in spite of my several complaints to yelp, for years now I am unable to open up any messages in yelp to me :-(
