Great people, very professional, know their subject matter, and eager to please their customer! Fair pricing and good value!

Called the company after taking a home radon test tested high. Spoke with Chauntel about the test. She answered our many questions and concerns. Chauntel was very helpful and informative about radon. We set up to have the house mitigated. Daniel and Mike work a few days getting our home safer. They were on time, respectful, friendly and told us what they were doing. Left everything clean. After the mitigation was completed, our home has significantly less radon than prior to the installation. Very impressed with the entire team and highly recommended them. read more

We used home tests for Radon twice (18 months apart) in our home and the highest result was 3.9 pCi/L, just under the EPA recommended abatement level of 4pCi/L. To err on the safe side we chose to hire E.I.C. to provide mitigation. Cameron gave us a bid then Adam & Devon came out to seal up the crawl space and install an under house fan, this took the two an entire day to accomplish. Then two commercial grade testing units were placed inside the home for three days and the resulting number was 0.3pCi/L. We can now rest easy knowing the air inside our home is safe and feel that the resale value increased as well. Everyone at E.I.C. was professional and knowledgeable. read more

Bought a radon sensor from Airthings to see the levels in our cabin in Truckee. Typical range was 2-7 which was concerning. We called EIC and Cameron was amazing to work with. Knew what to do right away, talked us through the plan, and installed the remediation system incredibly well. Now our levels are typically 0.1-0.4 which is totally amazing. The team here was great, everything was done on the timeline described. Really enjoyed working with them. Highly recommend. read more

Based on my mitigation experience, I highly recommend Cameron and his team. My levels were over 16 and are now 1-2 post mitigation (and I expect this to improve once I finish sealing all the cracks). Cameron is a total radon nerd and you can feel his passion for what he does. He and his team are great communicators, punctual, and clean up nicely after they finish the job. My contractor's radon guy quoted me over $12K for my mitigation and his plan was rather complex (three suction pits and two, possibly three, fans) Cameron's plan was much simpler, requiring only one suction pit and one fan. Working with Environmental Inspections saved me about $5K and was a very pleasant experience. read more

Great experience through and through. Cameron came by was very friendly and professional. The whole service was very fairly priced. The entire job was done quickly and smoothly with minimal intrusion. Thanks for everything guys. read more

Just had radon mitigation done in my home by EIC. I feel so much better knowing that when my home is closed up, warm and cozy in the winter, that I'm not breathing radon-filled air anymore. The quote was fair and the scheduling process was straightforward. Once on site, the workers were friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. Very pleased with everything about this company. read more

Cameron and team did a great job with radon mitigation and setting up a moisture barrier in the crawl space. They were very responsive, quick, and did great quality work. I would use them again for any needs, and they stand by their work. read more

Our realtor recommended this company during the inspection phase of a new home purchase. They were quick to respond and reliable. After the test resulted in high levels of radon, I found it easy to schedule a time for mitigation. They were great about explaining what needed to be done. And they were very respectful and flexible when I needed to reschedule (multiple times) due to other home improvements that needed to happen first (plumbing and spray foam). When they were able to come out for the mitigation appointment, the technicians were incredibly friendly and very good at explaining what was involved. The work was well done and clean, and the radon levels dropped to well below the recommended threshold. I can't recommend them highly enough! read more

We engaged with Cameron after our home tested high for radon during a home purchase inspection. He was quick to present a detailed proposal for a mitigation system. The proposal, experience and obvious expertise gave us confidence that a permanent reduction can be achieved. It all worked out great, Chris and Levi installed the system in our crawlspace, great team, super friendly and knowledgeable. The subsequent measurement confirmed that the radon is now contained to a level that is way below compared to what was guaranteed. What stands out is that this team not only provided a quality product and service, but that they also deeply care about what they do. I highly recommend this company. read more

Our realtor made the connection to EIC for radon testing & mitigation. We didn't bid out multiple quotes, but Cameron and his team were available about a month out, were easy to work with and so professional. Cameron accommodated us to talk through the system design once we were in the house. Special shoutout to his crew - Brandon and Adam - who worked hard and smart over the course of two days installing our system. They were pros, diligent and nice humans who thought through the system alongside us (we'd be the ones living with it after all), and communicated with us well throughout the install. Shoutout to Chauntel the Office Admin as well who was also super helpful. Radon was mitigated! read more

Fantastic customer service. So glad I got the radon checked in the inspection of my new home in Nevada City- because it was dangerously high. Hadn't known before that radon is the 2nd cause of lung cancer (after smoking). Yikes! Easy to work with, prompt, and efficient. Highly recommend. Cameron went above and beyond to help me. read more

I really appreciated EIR making themselves on short notice to do air testing this past spring when we were having some unknown issues at the house. They were able to test and troubleshoot right away, and make sure we understood the test results. Cameron spent the time to educate us on the air issue and mitigation options. We then had EIR subsequently install a depressurization system in our crawl space. Everyone we worked with at EIR, from office to field staff, are outstanding. read more

We used EI&C to install a radon mitigation system. The office manager, Chauntel, was very courteous and patient in dealing with our scheduling constraints. Cameron was very professional and helpful in answering all questions during the initial inspection process. The installation team, Chris and Levi, did an excellent job. They were very knowledgeable, and ensured we were fully aware of all steps in the process. I would highly recommend them. read more

Very friendly and courteous crew. The office called multiple times to communicate with me. Much better than Pinnacle that's for sure. I would recommend Environmental Inspections company anytime. Crew was able to work around my family and they took great care of making sure they cleaned up afterwards. Put down tarps for extra care inside our house. Very professional. read more

Chris and Levi installed our radon system. They are the best, very professional, and work really hard. They travelled all the way out to Las Vegas for our system install. We thoroughly appreciate having a quality system installed with quality workers. Our radon numbers are now very low. Thanks! I would definitely hire them for radon mitigation systems. read more

Thank you, Environmental Inspections & Construction! You were professional from start to finish and greatly reduced our radon exposure. We highly recommend this company. Radon is dangerous and we have a lot of it in our area. Get yours checked. And if it's high, get this company to fix it. read more

We had a new radon fan installed by EIC a few months ago when we moved into our new construction home. When we noticed the circuit breaker kept triggering due to an arc fault, we called EIC even though we weren't certain the radon fan was the culprit. Cameron came out to our house and spent well over an hour diagnosing possible issues with the radon fan as well as the electrical setup of the house. When he didn't detect obvious problems with the wiring, he had his team completely replaced and rewired the fan, then thoroughly tested the circuit. It was obvious Cameron and his team genuinely cared about their customers and would go the extra mile to back up their work. They were professional, responsive, and authentic. Needless to say, I highly recommend Cameron and his team for your next project. read more

Great and timely service. I contacted Environmental Inspections & Construction to help set up radon mitigation system for my elderly parents' home. On the same day, Maritza was able to send someone to check what needs to be done and sent over the proposal. Whenever we had questions, Maritza and the team were able to help quickly. On the appointment day, team from Environmental Inspections & Construction installed the radon mitigation system, explained what was done and were friendly and courteous. My parents were happy. Thank you for your help! I greatly recommend this team! read more

I highly, highly recommend using Environmental Inspections & Construction for any Radon Mitigation you may have. Although they are located in Tahoe, they were willing to come to Davis to help us with our issue. We had a reading of 4.8 and we were really hoping to get the readings under 2.7. We are now getting readings of 0.3, which is less than what naturally occurs outside. Working with Cameron, Jodel and their team was one of the rare pleasures where the service and work is above and beyond your expectations. The price was less than other bids we had, even including their traveling costs. The quality of the work was exceptional. Brandon and Adam were an amazing installation team. Friendly and helpful, answering all of our questions and listening to any concerns we might have. Overall, the entire team was just a complete pleasure to work with on every level. From bid to invoice. Again, I can't recommend them highly enough. read more

I contacted Jim at Environmental Inspections & Construction to inspect a radon mitigation system that had been installed for the previous owner of my new home by a different contractor. I strongly suspected that the system had problems including excessive fan noise and improperly sealed junctions. Jim showed up for the inspection on time, listened carefully to my concerns and was able to confirm my suspicions that the prior system had been incorrectly installed. Jim clearly outlined his plan to fix the system and described everything (in detail) that he would do to correct the problems. Our timelines for the repair were tight, but Jim was able to accommodate me and schedule the repair for the day following the inspection. Again, Jim and his crew showed up on time and started working immediately. Much of the old system had to be removed due to subpar materials, incorrect installation and poor workmanship. The new system components Jim and his crew installed were high quality and adhere to best practices and regulations for radon mitigation systems. Most importantly to me, the new system Jim installed was super quiet!!! Radon is a serious issue that needs to be dealt with by a qualified and experienced contractor. So, I highly recommend Jim and his team at Environmental Inspections & Construction to anyone who needs radon mitigation. read more

We contacted Jim when our future house tested high for radon. He was awesome through the whole process. Very knowledgeable and helpful on explaining the proposed plan. He and the office were very organized to get our install done on a tight timeline. Team communicated well and met all deadlines. All levels tested very low during post install testing. They really went out of their way through the whole process. Could not have been happier and would recommend to anyone in need of radon testing or mitigation system. read more

After my house tested positive for Radon (6 pCi/l), I contacted three separate contractors for quotes. Jim (Environmental Radon) was the first to come by, and after a thorough inspection, he gave me a very fair price for mitigation. A few weeks later I decided to use his services and I was not disappointed. The installation went flawlessly and my house tested at less then 1 pCi/l, or four times lower then the recommended safe level. Unfortunately, two days after Jim finished his mitigation, my crawl space flooded due to extreme rain and poor drainage. He was very helpful and went out of his way to make sure any issues that occurred from my flood were corrected. I would recommend this contractor to anyone in the Tahoe/Carson city area that needs Radon services. read more
