I was called into the back room within 5 minutes. Big black chairs in open cubicles - kinda comfy for what I was there for. The ladies up front were great and pulled up my labs, so I didn't have to go and come back. I was in and out within 10 minutes tops. That was with a potty break before heading back. I used to have to get lab work every 6 months for a years, but this was the only time I didn't mind getting my blood drawn. I wish I would have wrote the tech's name down that did my blood draw yesterday because she was phenomenal. Young Indian lady didn't even pinch me! I wish there was a way to request her in the future. Thank you again for being the only one that didn't hurt me with a blood draw. Upon entering, there were about 4-5 people ahead of me with appointments, so obviously those people were seen first and then several people came in after right after me. Ultimately, I was in and out within 25 minutes, which I felt very reasonable considering I walked in without an appointment and several people ahead of me. Rarely do they have two people for check-in. I must say they are always polite and don't seem to stop for brakes until the crowd is gone. Early is the worst time to go but many times you have to fast. This review is for my visit on the 9th of Jan. The young lady seemed not as experienced as some of the others in there that draw blood samples. I never had a problem in the past and they have no problem finding the right spot. This lady did not hit the vein spot on and so she was moving the needle around while in my arm. She only got half a vial. The elastic was put on way too tight so my arm hurt most of the day. PLUS that spot had a huge bruise about the size of two silver dollars. I showed my husband when I got home and he has never had that problem there. She needs more experience before she deals with the public. I wish I wold have taken a photo.

While some staff members continue to provide excellent service, my recent experiences highlight several areas that need improvement. Scheduling and communication issues have become a significant problem. My doctor ordered both a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound. During my initial attempt to book the appointments, the first representative was inflexible and insisted I use a different location instead of the Sierra Rose site I requested. On the day of my appointment, I waited more than 30+ minutes past my scheduled time only to learn that the appointment order had been changed without notice. The sonographer performed the ultrasound first, found everything clear and benign, and, after review by the onsite doctor, recommended canceling the mammogram. The sonographer was very professional and thorough; however, the issues were clearly outside of her control. This was a front office and scheduling problem. The overall coordination was poor and confusing. Compounding the frustration, I received a follow-up call the next day informing me that I still needed to schedule the mammogram. This was especially stressful and confusing, as it directly contradicted the previous day's assessment and my doctor's original orders. For the next couple of days, RDC continued calling me persistently about scheduling a follow-up mammogram. The representatives had difficulty communicating clearly, and the calls ended without resolution. I'm also unsure whether it is standard practice to override a doctor's order for a diagnostic mammogram when one was performed within the prior 30 days. Additionally, as a self-pay patient, I was charged a 3% interest fee on my credit card (waived only for cash or check). This practice feels inconsistent with industry standards and adds unnecessary burden to patients. In today's largely cashless society, this feels like an unnecessary burden on patients. Medical practices can typically deduct these fees as business expenses, making it preferable for the office to absorb them rather than pass them on to loyal self-pay customers. It appears the center has undergone an acquisition, and many team members seem to be in training. These changes appear to have impacted service consistency and communication quality. I requested to speak with a manager and sent a follow-up email, but I have not received any response. I hope management will address the scheduling processes, staff training, coordination with referring physicians, and billing policies so that Reno Diagnostic Center can restore the high level of care it was once known for. This review is intended to help bring these issues to their attention.

As an ER... Have had to use them twice. Both at night. VERY efficient and professional. Had to have imaging done and they were able to bring someone over to do it here. Comfortable and qualified doctor and nurses. All paperwork was done bedside and submitted correctly. The only thing this ER does not offer that a hospital does is a pharmacy in house. They do send your prescriptions out.

Once back phlebotomist is good and quick. I learned that after 2 pm there is one phlebotomist for all patients. so if the er has patients the wait is long. why does the security guard man the reception desk? He Knows NOTHING. He cannot answer any questions and appears to have no medical office knowledge. he is not very friendly. He cannot give an estimate of wait time. I had plenty of time in waiting area to observe his interactions with pts coming and going. I have worked in medical field all of my adult life until retired. a security guard at front desk seems strange to me.
