Food and ambience are there. Presentation also a plus. Fell a bit short on service and a by the glass wine list that could be better. That said they got far more right than wrong. I'd go back

Quaint restaurant in Paris. A colleague of mine recommended this place. The portions were huge! The decor is very chic. Tables are a bit too close though. Wine selection is on point. Our server spoke English. Overall, a great spot for dinner and wine.

My friend and I came to Le Régalade on the recommendation of a local friend and it did not disappoint! We both agreed the squid ink risotto was one of the best bites we had in our week and a half of being in France. The service was welcoming and kind, and we loved the starter pâté. They brought out the full cheese service and explained them to us and the cut our pieces fresh from the board, which was such a nice touch. Would highly recommend visiting La Régalade for lunch or dinner.

This place came recommended by my concierge, and it was absolutely spot on! I popped in for a quick lunch by myself and was seated promptly. I was given a translated menu. The food is fantastic here and I would absolutely return. Ambiance is very unique and... cool, for lack of a better word. You won't regret coming here-- the nicest folks working as well!

A local brought us here so you know it is legit. We came for lunch and ordered the set menu which includes an appetizer, entree and dessert. Both the food and service were excellent. The tartine was very tasty and the souffle was awesome.

Very enjoyable restaurant with lively atmosphere. Pretty much all the food we tried was very well seasoned and cooked. I will venture to say anything you order will be some of the best you can get!

This was quite simply the most amazing meal I had this year. The service, ambiance, and food were nothing short of superb. We were greeted and sat straight away by Mona, who proceeded to go over each menu in English with us. She provided us with her personal favorites, which we ordered to share as a group of 4. The timing between each course was excellent as we had enough time to digest between starters and mains as well as mains and dessert. The portions of the starters to us seemed larger than the mains but we did not complain because they were excellent! We had escargots, scallops, squid ink risotto with prawns, and veal carpaccio for starters. Our mains were the duck, crispy pork belly, stuffed beef, and codfish. For dessert, we ordered the rice pudding (35 years of perfecting), pear "Belle Hélène", fig cheesecake, and soufflé. I would definitely return on future visits to Paris.

Food was so amazing! I loved the mango cheesecake! It was my first experience of cheesecake in Paris. Soo fluffy and soft! Servers were very friendly. Ambiance was pleasant.

This is place is OFF THE CHARTS!!! The best meal I had in all of Paris. I first came for lunch with my family and it was so good we had to come back for dinner. The deviled eggs are TO DIE FOR!! And their signature Pascade is truly phenomenal. The pascade parisienne and the pascade choocolat will hold a special place in my heart forever. The modern sleek vibe of the place along with the excellent dishes make this place truly spectacular. The owner Stephane is passionate about his restaurant and made sure all his customers felt comfortable and were enjoying their meal. My family and I got a chance to speak with him and he truly puts all his passions and efforts into his restaurant and it truly shows. Please please go to this restaurant. I have no one complaint and all the praises in this world for this restraint

We stumbled upon this place right before they opened so we were lucky enough to grab seats. We were very pleasantly surprised by our meal as we enjoyed it very much. The food, service, and atmosphere were all great and I would definitely come back! They have a set menu with a lot of great options. For starters, we ordered the snails (de shelled in a pesto sauce), squid ink risotto (lots of good flavor and texture with squid pieces on top), and tuna tataki (again, great flavors and textures). They were all spectacular! For mains, we ordered the pork belly, cod, and scorpion fish. The cod was good, very tender, and the pork belly had good flavor! For dessert, the rice pudding is pretty special, so I would recommend that! Overall service was really good and attentive and the atmosphere was very friendly and warm. The table next to us was here celebrating a birthday!

Another amazing meal in Paris! My wife and I dined at La Regalade thanks to a recommendation from a friend and are so glad that we did. Situated on a quaint Parisian street, this restaurants serves up gourmet French cuisine, a cozy atmosphere, and top-notch service for a terrific price (in English or French.... in fact, I think there were more English speakers than French locals when we dined her). One of the things I love about La Regalade is that the menu is prix fixe, which allowed us to sample multiple courses for one great price. The staff even went above and beyond to provide multiple complimentary sides, including unlimited fresh bread, a whole jar of pickles soaked in a leek sauce (amazing taste if you love the sourness of pickles and the bitter-sweet taste of leeks), and pork patty. Regarding that last item, I must say it was incredibly unique. The pork patty looks like a meatloaf (see pic for reference) but is served chilled (that's right, chilled). It has the flavor of sweet pork (that's right, pork with added sweetness) and the consistency of gefilte fish... worth trying for free but not something I'd order an entire meal's worth. By the time we received our entrees, we were already starting to get full from the complimentary starters (and feeling good from the wine). Still, the flavors kept us wanting more. For my entree, I ordered the creamy risotto with squid ink, prawns, parsley-garlic and cured ham. My wife ordered the escargot. Both looked beautiful and tasted even better! For the plat, I ordered the chicken (stuffed with foie gras, seasonal vegetables and beetroot hummus) and my wife ordered the roasted lamb (with veggies and ras-el-hanout juice). Again, the presentation for both was stunning, and the flavors were incredible. I especially loved the beetroot hummus paired with the veggies and chicken, a unique combination of flavors that blended perfectly to create a delicious taste. For dessert, I satisfied my sweet tooth with the Venezuelan chocolate truffle served in an orange marmalade - so good! My wife ordered the cheese dessert plate, perfect for those who love salty/savory desserts. Overall, we loved La Regalade and would definitely venture back here again on a future trip to the city of lights.

Sunday they only serve a buffet. We had a massive lunch that ended late and then we had dinner reservations at 7. Just too much food. The buffet was scrumptious and centered around seafood. Salmon and avocado poke. Seared ahi tuna. Farmer pate. Perfectly al dented green beans. Summer sausage. It was a charcuterie on steroids. The chicken entree was perfectly roasted and served with creamy potatoes. We had too much of the buffet and had to pack an entree. The desserts were expansive. Fresh fruit galore baked, jammed, cut up. I had chocolate mousse from a large terrine that I could have easily eaten the entire terrine. Next time we are in France, I am coming back hungry.

Squid ink & Rice ... so so salty!!! Sadness !!!

The richness of the flavor and the texture which is not reminiscent of the traditional roasted duck or foie gras, but rather a much more like a luxurious and indulgent version. We enjoyed our dinner on the outside of the restaurant after about a 20-30 minute wait. The bone marrow had the best flavor I've experienced for the dish. However, it is definitely overshadowed by the rich flavor of the foie gras. This experience was unforgettable, with our view of Parisian streets on a brisk, April night. We even came back on our last night, but didn't realize the hours on Google maps was for the deli. The restaurant closes earlier, before 9:00 PM. This meal got us thinking about Paris in a positive light, and we hope to be able to come back to eat the amazing dishes again!

They had a number of goods to choose from and I ended up buying a few things for souvenirs. As for the actual restaurant, they had a number of delicious sounding items on their menu. Our server was very attentive to us and helped us decide on our dinner orders. Similar to the other restaurants though. After our food was delivered, it was far in between when we were checked on again. And after dessert it took even longer for our server to bring the bill. Overall, the food was a letdown. I do not exaggerate when I say that the frog legs just tasted like slightly flavored water. My friend's ravioli had a fairly decent flavored sauce but the pasta was a bit chewy. My friend's duck breast was pretty tough; I had noticed the table next to us also ordered it and they seemed to have trouble finishing/cutting theirs as well. As for my steak with foie gras, well the steak was once again tough and the foie gras was weirdly stringy. It was soft for the most part but there were parts that were tough and stringy. Maybe that's a section that's generally separated in the preparation process and it was missed? In any case it was disappointing. What wasn't disappointing was dessert though; perfectly sweet and balanced.

On the other hand, it made me realize that my mother was a terrible cook. Bistro des Augustins is a small, cozy venue offering both indoor seating and terrace seating near Pont Neuf. It serves a small number of curated dishes, including a wonderfully traditional Bistro Gratin in a homey ceramic dish served piping hot with a brown crispy cheesy top, herbs, spices and chicken. You can also get it with salmon. My brothers and I only saw my mother use our gas range to light her cigarettes, sanitize needles to remove our splinters, and make s'mores during the summer months when she couldn't muster the energy to take us 'outside camping.' I mean, all she had to do was borrow a cookbook, which I'm sure were readily available from maybe a neighbor or in any local bookstore or the public library. How hard is that? I was the only kid who brought a can of tuna and his own monogrammed can opener to school every day. Every day. And mom convinced me that the tuna holster she got me for my birthday was cool and hip. I was a naive mercury-filled fool, although I did become a very fast runner in junior high school because of the tuna holster. The interior décor of Bistro des Augustins is informal and vintage bistro style - wooden tables, traditional chalkboard menus, and soft lighting - creating a relaxed and comfy ambiance. My eyes have been opened to what's possible. Thank you Bistro des Augustins for expanding my culinary horizons. Five stars.

When I arrived, there was a rustic table in the entry room where I was seated. I ordered an entrée of mini mushroom raviolis in truffle sauce, a plat of scallops over orzo which had chorizo chunks and a dessert of frozen Grand Marnier soufflé. The portions were generous. I enjoyed the mini mushroom raviolis and delicious Grand Marnier soufflé. The plat was somewhat odd because the chorizo chunks were really strong flavored which overpowered the scallops. I ate one chorizo chunk and pushed the rest aside. The scallops were cooked perfectly but not seasoned. The service was gruff/quite brief with dishes dropped by assistants. My biggest complaint was the stressful ambiance during the meal. It was freezing outside. The door constantly opened and new patrons came in hovering over diners in my room. Luckily I was not closer to the door and didn't have anyone over me. For ~170 Euros, the food was good but the experience was not.
